Duuka was the kid in highschool who was good at dodgeball; Largely because basketballs and other hard balls were used and no one likes getting hit by one of those.

It's a toss up for me... While In the Face of Adversity has a major appeal, I am tempted to finally have a solid target to aim for in order to win this war...
Duuka had to have been one of the only crew members to have been perfectly ready and willing to go the moment the call to arms was sounded; He had his weapon on hand and he was wearing his 'armor'... through he knew for a fact that it was likely to do jack shit against anything. He was counting on his natural regeneration to last him until he had enough money to buy himself some proper armor while praying to whatever ancestors of his that might have given enough of a damn to watch over him that he wouldn't encounter anyone that used fire as a weapon. Fire was very, very bad.
As the introductions were made and he listened in, Duuka paid extra attention to Kasyra Vas Ryushei's. Rolling his shoulders a little as he stepped forwards, he took a moment to take a deep breath before speaking. "My name is Duuka. I was born on Omega and have spent nearly all of my life there. When I was young, a vorcha 'pest control' team slaughtered my biological relations. By chance I was adopted by a quarian pilgrim named Sira'sa Nar Viwa-" Those watching and listening would easily notice the great deal of difficulty that Duuka had pronouncing that name "- whom I call Sira or Si for short. Despite her efforts to teach me engineering, I've only ever really been any good at basic weapon maintenance and operating security systems. What I lack in engineering, I make up for with combat ability; If you need extra muscle or another gun at your side, I'm your vorcha. I would like to volunteer to go tunnel fighting. Afterwards I can lead those looking for parts and equipment to the best stores for them."
While telling them about his mother might have been a bit more then what anyone else had offered, Duuka felt the need to answer the unanswered question of why he wasn't a violent killing machine that was normally seen in the blood pack.

Duuka will be going with the tunnel team. He is used to moving around and fighting in the tunnels of Omega so this is him literally fighting on his home turf. Front lines needs another gun, right?

At the very least, having Tia on the ship will help discourage people trying to steal it from us... not that anyone would want to steal from us because we have nothing worth stealing yet, but the point remains.
