"Okay, I have no idea how much this going to hurt, so I'm just going to do it." Kane approached Blood and wrapped his hand around the piece of shrapnel, and then yanked it out with all of his strength. Kane tossed the piece of metal to the side and studied Blood. "So how bad was that?"

@MellyNyan Except up until now Kory's never had the opportunity. Geez, seems like our characters will get along pretty well. (As long as Tori doesn't bother Kory about his scars until he's ready.)

@MellyNyan Kory noticed her following his gaze, and blushes slightly. "Yeah... let's get out of here." Kory was excited at the thought of making a good friend. She seemed really nice, and she was kind of pretty too. "Lead the way." He smiles back at her.

@Shikaru A raven landed on a piece of rubble a few feet away from Blood, looking at him with intelligent eyes. The bird removed it's focus from the wounded man, scanning the area and taking in all of the destruction. The feathered creature finally rested it's eyes on Blood again, studying the large piece of shrapnel sticking out of his back. A few moments later, Blood would receive a telepathic message stating that help was his if he desired it. The message also included an image of Blood, minus the twisted piece of metal sticking out of his back.

I don't know if I'm supposed to get the faction approved here beforehand so I'll just drop it down.

Faction

DAWN
Dawn was created by Kane for the purpose of gaining allies to aid in his fight against those “mongrels who promote genocide”. It is a small group that is still in it’s early phases, but the “Agents” as Kane calls them, are far from being rookies. Dawn will take people from all walks of life, no matter their species or history. As such the Agents are a very mixed bag, but the one thing that unifies them is that they are all willing to die for their cause.

The Roles:
Base Command- These Agents are those who are skilled with computers and have strong leadership skills, as well as being good problem solvers. All of Base Command is human.
Squad Leaders- Squad Leaders are the best of the best. They’re the fastest, the strongest, and the smartest. Squad Leaders are typically either Vampires or very skilled Humans.
Squad Members- Standard but still quite skilled Agents that operate under a single Squad Leader. Squads typically contain 3-4 members of either Human or Vampire heritage as well as the Squad Leader.
The Caretakers- Not much is known about the three chosen by Kane to undertake their particular job other than they are extremely intelligent, they all possess powerful psychic powers, and they are extremely loyal him. They remain in a certain sector of HQ at all times. In fact, they are to be killed if they are ever seen leaving their designated area without explicit permission from Kane.
The Cattle- Human volunteers who provide blood for Kane and the other Vampires.

The Failsafe
The Failsafe is a powerful.... something that is being controlled by The Caretakers. It is still highly unstable and would only be used as a last resort.

The Equipment
All blades are forged from silver, and all bullets are also silver. Each Field Agent is also equipped with flashbangs and grenades that explode into silver shrapnel.

The Base
It’s location is secret to all but the members of Dawn.

Other Information
As of yet, Dawn does not have a single Werewolf Agent in their midst.
As a fairly new faction in the free for all shitstorm that is going on out there, other organizations would likely not be aware of Dawn’s existence at this moment in time.
While there is no designated uniform for the Dawn Agents, the widely accepted symbol that represents them is a red, a blue, and a green dot forming the shape of a triangle. So most Agents have that represented on their outfit in some way.

He says, double checking that the rubberbands around his sleeves to keep them from rolling up his arms are secure, as well as subconsciously making sure his black leather gloves were still on.

Kory approached the gates that lead into the laboratory.

"Geez, my feet are killing me."

The orphan boy was rolling his eyes at the voice of the person on the other side of the intercom, this was boring. Finally, this guy over the speaker opened the damn gates and let him through.

As Kory entered the building, he was disappointed to see how old most of the participants were. How was he going to make friends with someone like six years older than him? How the hell was that supposed to work? Fortunately, he spotted a girl that seemed to be around his age. Kory trotted up to her.

Kane would probably take most interest in the supernaturals first, seeing as how they're likely more dangerous. But he'll get to them if he can.
