My sincerest apologies for my absence. I've started training on a new job and it's taking up more time than I had anticipated. Have I fallen too far behind to catch up?

IMO, you're fine. We're still in the Cargo Bay fighting for our lives, so you didn't miss much. And Caboose' latest post gives a good opening for anyone to simply have their characters head for the LAAT transports.

I've heard it's really hard to learn though. My sister tried to learn it because she and I are primarily Russian and my grandpa (completely Russian) knew some, but she stopped rather quickly XD

I've heard its the Cyrillic that's hard to learn. After that, it's supposed to be easy to get the Russian grammar and such.

You wake up in a field. A forest lies to the north, a cabin to the east, an old building to the south and a river to the west

What do you do

Take out my cell phone, head for the nearest road and call for a taxi.

Well, now I want some booze. I ran out of my vodka last weekend. Any suggestions?

Rum. You can't go wrong with rum.

It still boggles my mind that you guys can buy booze in grocery stores. Up here in Canada, it's either so restricted it's either a government store (so one per town) or in Alberta's case, a licensed liquor store.

Minnesota's basically just as prudish. Some grocery stores carry beer and wine, but liquor is only at licensed liquor stores. No alcohol sales at all on Sundays, or after 2 AM on weekdays/Saturdays, either (they obviously start up again at 8 AM for daytime shoppers).
