Unfortunately the RP has gone in a direction I didnβt expect it to. So with that Iβll unfortunately have to say Iβm out. All the best going forward, hope it works out for you.
@Blackstripe Yeah Iβll make the switch, no problem. 25 years old but a bit childish and generally light hearted. Maybe somewhat Goku-esque if youβre at all familiar with Dragonball in terms of his personality.
Got the Mrs around tonight so likely wonβt be able to edit until tomorrow.
Would attempts to force confessions through fear be acceptable? Not saying torture but implied threats of violence like dangling a thief from the ledge of a building. Basically heβd be more Batman than anti-hero in his approach, using fear to get convictions while avoiding murder.
If thatβs still too out there and you want him to be even closer to the DC clean cut version of Superman than Iβll go with that.
ββββββββββββ COSTUMED PERSONALITY ββββββββββββ Someone who persistently wants to fight the best and greatest the worlds villains have to offer, The Judge is a fighter who has a deep, inner urge to be the best. That isn't say he is cocky, in fact he is far from it. The problem comes from wanting to fight his enemies at their full power to push himself. He only ever takes a fight seriously if an enemy is close to his own level of power or if civilians are in immediate danger. Aside from that, there is little difference between his alter-ego and his civilian personality. In addition to the rest, He makes effort to try and promote a positive image for Kryptonians after the negative stereotype that developed from the now dead superhero Superman.
ββββββββββββ CIVILIAN PERSONALITY ββββββββββββ Loving and caring to his friends and colleagues, Ricky is respectful of others and their choices in life. He holds no known grudges and treats everyone as he would like to be treated. He doesn't need food but can often be found eating for the simple enjoyment of it.
ββββββββββββ SUPER ABILITIES ββββββββββββ
SKILLS
β’ Hand to Hand Combat
POWERS
β’ Solar Energy Absorbtion: His entire powerset is based on his natural physiological ability to absorb solar energy emitted by yellow suns. A lifetime of exposure has resulted in supreme levels of power when he is fully charged. In any instance where he is deprived of this solar energy for longer than a month, he would be no more powerful than a standard human.
β’ Super Strength: With super strength approaching the highest of tiers, there are few out there capable of the feats that The Judge is. His upper strength limit has yet to be found with his greatest feat to date involving the lifting of a fully laden oil tanker ship, something he did with with ease.
β’ Flight: When his powers first began to manifest he could only manage leaps over long distances but has since learnt to maintain sustained flight.
β’ Super Speed: His speed was apparent from a young age but he continued to get faster as he reached maturity. While he has never truly pushed his speed it is thought he would be capable of moving close to, if not equal to the speed of light. His reflexes and reaction times mirror his speed and he has shown an ability to avoid extremely fast attacks. In addition super speed also applies to his mind, with the world seemingly slowing down around him to allow him to process everything.
β’ Invulnerability: He has high level invulnerability and has successfully tanked various attacks including a munition designed to destroy underground bunkers.
β’ Vision: Capable of seeing across the complete electromagnetic spectrum he also has x-ray vision. In addition to these support abilities his vision also provides offensive capabilities through heat vision. Scorching beams of heat erupt from his eyes and burn through everything they touch.
β’ Hearing: With a much wider audio range than a human, he can hear sounds humans could only dream of. In addition to this he is able to hear sounds from distances far away. This provided him with great discomfort in his youth but as he grew older he adjusted to it.
β’ Super Breath: Capable of exhaling hurricane force winds and freezing gusts, his breath can be highly dangerous when utilised correctly.
β’ Mental Focus: While lacking any sort of genius level intellect he is capable of focussing his super senses so that he isn't constantly berrated with the sensations around him. He is able to hone in on a particular position through this ability, however the further away a position is the harder it is to locate given the vast levels of interference. In terms of intelligence he is no smarter than a standard human.
β’ Infinite Stamina: He is capable be infinite stamina as long as he is sustained by a yellow suns radiation. This also means that he has no need for water or food to sustain himself. If he were to lose his sustenance from the sun, he would be required to eat and drink water much like a human.
β’ Healing factor: He has a decent ability to heal wounds that he sustains, even with his invulnerabilty. Cuts that would take a human weeks to recover from heal in minutes.
β’ Solar Flare: Scientists who have viewed footage of him propose that in extreme circumstances he would be able to expel all his stored solar energy in one massive attack, much in the way his heat vision works. However this has never been used and is simply theoretical at present.
WEAKNESSES
β’ Red Suns β’ Kryptonite β’ His powers rely on yellow solar energy β’ Can be outsmarted by highly intelligent enemies β’ His inner need to fight the strongest enemies can leave him exposed to attack
ββββββββββββ CHARACTER HISTORY ββββββββββββ
With the impending destruction of Krypton Jor-El prepared the escape pod for his son Kal. However knowledge of his escape pod and its destination reached the masses and many turned to up on his doorstep to try and take the pod for themselves. Jor-El fought them off with his wife Lara for as long as they could but eventually succumbed to the endless onslaught. By time the attackers had fought each other to reach the launch chamber only two remained, General Zod and Faora-Ul. Zod thanked Faora, who had long been a follower of Zod and his regime. However Zod was met with a blade to the stomach, dropping the General to the floor. Faora opened a pod that she had on her back revealing a new born child. She removed Kal-El from the pod and placed her own son in his place. She removed all knowledge that had been stored in the pod including the suit of House El that had been left. In place of the suit she stored a suit of her own families colours and also wrote a brief message.
Whoever finds this note, please take care of my son. He comes from a place torn apart by civil war and deserves a chance at a decent and honest living.
Koron, I wish for you to be a better person that I ever was in my life. The most honourable thing I have ever done is spare you the destruction of our planet. Just know that I will love you always and forever, even into death.
From your dearest mother,
Faora-Ul
With her rushed note finished, Faora completed her betrayal of Zod by launching her son into the vastness of space. A cry of anger escaped Zod's lungs and he cursed his former comrade. Faora watched the pod until it disappeared into the darkening sky, oblivious to the tirade of insults from Zod's mouth. When the pod was finally out of sight she looked down at Kal-El and shed a tear onto the solemnly quiet baby. She whispered words of apology endlessly to the small child until a bright flash enveloped the planet of Krypton.
Koron's trip through space was uneventful and the Kryptoninan baby landed in remote farmland on the planet Earth. The pod had illuminated the sky as it cut through the darkness of night, eventually coming to rest in the middle of a cornfield. A farmer and his wife taking in the clear night sky hurried to the impact site and discovered the baby Koron. The advanced technology of the Kryptonians had meant that they discovered the English language long ago and so the note that Faora had left was clear to read. The couple read the note and combined with the method of Koron's arrival, they knew he was not from Earth.
His early days on the planet were highly stressful for the new family, Koron's exposure to the yellow sun's rays heightening his senses. This constant barrage of sound and sensations meant he was suffering from a consistent sensory overload. It took a whole month until he began to calm and eventually be able to master his senses. The mastery was more a natural development rather than any particular skill due to his very young age.
The farming couple, Harry and Elizabeth Irons had longed for children but infertility in Harry meant that natural conception wasn't an option. The two had been together since the beginning of high school and their love had blossomed into a wonderful life together. They were in the process of adoption but the arrival of Koron meant that they didn't follow through. They decided to give him a human name and chose the name Ricky, it was the name of Elizabeths younger brother who died when he was a baby.
It became apparent early on as a toddler that Ricky was capable of great feats of speed and strength. Harry and Elizabeth knew he was from another world but didn't expect any sort of super powers. They instilled in him from a young age that he needed to keep the powers to himself and never use them to hurt others. No matter how much he was teased, no matter how much he was chased, he had to restrain himself because he was beyond anything a normal human was capable of.
His school life was uneventful after he settled into a social circle that gave him some very close friends. He kept his abilities hidden and away from even his closest friends, that was how much he respected his adoptive parents. He loved them as much as any child could love their parents and they are also the reason why he became the hero he is.
After leaving high school Ricky headed to college to experience what it had to offer. His first year was a culture shock. The small town he had grown up in was a place where everyone knew everyone else, such was the small size of the place. The college in Metropolis had students that numbered the population of his hometown multiple times over. The tallest building he had ever seen was the spire of the local church, his dorm building dwarfed that without even considering the skyscrapers. He had to relearn to focus his senses with the vastly increased number of people and activity within Metropolis. In all his first year was a success and something he thoroughly enjoyed.
During his second year was when he first actively used his powers to fight crime. While out with friends they were caught up in a robbery of a gas station. In the commotion Ricky managed to get seperated from his friends. Using this opportunity he quickly subdued the criminals without anyone in the building knowing what happened. Seeing the relief on the faces of his friends and the owner of the gas station, he knew that he had to use his powers for good. Returning home he spoke to his parents who knew the day would have come eventually. They provided him with the suit that they found in the escape pod they had found him in and from that point forward he wore the attire when fighting crime.
The years that followed saw him graduate with his degree in environmental studies and subsequently become a park ranger just outside of Metropolis. The job itself was the perfect solution for him because it allowed him to spend his days outside in nature and more importantly, it would allow the freedom needed so that he can shoot off to fight villains when needed.

Below is a sheet for his possible nemesis, the gist is an Amazon version of Lex Luthor. I intend on treating her more as an NPC than a character I would do alot of individual posts for. I just like to have a CS to cover all the bases.
Costumed Personality: Torturing, self serving and evil are just a few of the words describe Helena. She is as devious as they come and will use whatever and whoever she can to get what she wants. She will quite happily use civilians to distract a hero long enough so that she can strike a finishing blow.
Civilian Personality: In public Helena tries to show off an exterior of being charitable and all round good natured. However in the boardroom she is as dangerous as he alter ego. She single handedly took over a multinational corporation, almost through sheer willpower alone. Those in her inner circle fear her more as Helena than Widowmaker.

With the news coming through that the team were going to avoid the suspected Hive nest, Gaz was less that pleased. "Dammit 'umies!" He began to stomp the floor in frustration, his bulk denting the floor slightly. When he finished his tantrum he was told that he would have free reign of the armoury but even that didn't subdue his frustration. "I don't need no 'umie guns! I 'as da' bestest guns 'ere already but you ain't gonna let me show dem to you gits!" With added anger added to his last word the sounded of crashing metal brought a smile to his face. In his brief moment of anger he had forgotten about the impending Hive assault. He turned to the door to see the wave of creatures pour forth from the ruined door and felt nothing but pure elation fill every fibre of his body. "Oh yes boyz! Dis is what ya needs!"
Gaz began to spin up the barrel on his dakka gun as a small Hive contingent made their way towards him. Giant globs of acidic mass impacted against his brightly coloured armour but did little in the way of damage. The thickness of the armour alone would have made life difficult for the acid to do it's job on his flesh, but the recently fresh coat of hive blood that coated his armour acted as a buffer. Neutralising the acid the blood made their ranged attacks all but useless. "Come on den you gits!" The first of the larger creatures lunged towards Gaz with its giant claws lurched backwards. Gaz moved at a speed that defied his size and took hold of the creature around the neck with his power klaw. He stopped short of decapitaing the beast, cutting deep into its neck. It it snarled wildly trying to to bite at Gaz and trying to swing its claws at him. He was safer being right next to the beast than he was several paces away. He let out a bellowing laugh before filling the entire room with deafeningly louds gunfire.
The barrel of his dakka gun began to spew rounds into the torso of his quarry, causing it's chest to erupt into a fountain of gore. The power of his weapon meant the rounds continued out through the back of the creature and began to lay waste to any creatures unfortunate enough to be behind it. As he continued to unload rounds the slasher in his grasp fell limp giving him a much better view to the incoming horde. He moved the slasher around like a doll as he began to lay waste to the swarmers that had followed it. The dakka gun made quick work of them leaving little more than piles of unrecogniseable gore.
Gaz's laughter continued as the barrage of bullets eventually split his caught slasher in two, it's legs and lower body falling to the floor with a heavy thud. "That's enough dakka! Time for da choppa!" Gaz closed his power klaw splitting the remainder of the slasher in two. With the weight of the beast gone he ceased fire with his dakka gun and drew his chain choppa. In front of him the other slasher remained, this one seemingly more cautious of the fungai than the other had been. It had shown deft agility as it had not taken a single shot from his dakka gun. The two sized each other up for a moment, Gaz standing several inches taller than it. Then with a ferocious roar the slasher made for Gaz.
It thrust it's large claws forward attempting to skewer Gaz. The whirring blade of Gaz's weapon deflected the blow, cutting chunks from his enemies limbs. Gaz followed up with a headbutt but proceeded to only stun himself, the armoured head of the slasher strong enough to prevent any sort of damage. As Gaz stumbled backwards the slasher pounced and knocked him back, driving one of its claws into his shoulder. His thick armour deflected the blow towards the joint allowing the claw to cut into him. It made quick work of his flesh and emerged from the back of his shoulder joint. "Is that all you got?" Gaz laughed as he took hold of the arm the claw was attached to. He pulled a face at the beast before casting his gaze down slowly at its arm. He looked back up at it with a smile and could see that some amount of intelligence rested behind it's eyes. It began to pull on it's arm hard but it could not break the fungai's grip. With one swift motion Gaz brought his chain choppa down onto the slashers arm. Letting it go Gaz laughed as he was showered with the blood of his enemy. The fountain of green sludge erupted from it's severed limb, it's claw still firmly embedded in Gaz's shoulder.
Still reeling from Gaz's attack the beast wailed and fidgeted wildly. Gaz raised his left arm with his devious smile still etched on his deep green face. "Oi! Git!" The beast turned at the call but rather than turning to find Gaz, it was met with a wall of scorching fire. Gaz's skorcha burnt hot and even with the slashers thick armour plating, it reduced it to ash in mere moments. Gaz looked at the devastation he had left, his armour once again dripping in green gore. He turned to Cyne as the human dealt with his own Hive. "Oi 'umie! Did ya see that?" With another echoing laugh Gaz turned his attention to the biggest Hive creature. Using his power klaw to point at it he yelled out, "That thing's 'ead is goin' in my room!" With the slashers claw still in his shoulder, Gaz began to unload his dakka gun at the brute.
Ana's suggestion was spot on, they needed somewhere they could try and relax to lessen the adrenaline flooding their systems. They were in full survival mode and they needed to decide on a plan to get out of the city. The best way would be to clear their minds. "Great idea. You start making your there, I need to deal with these...can't risk them following us." Connor spun his pistol in his hand and passed it to Ana grip first. "Take this...i'll catch up." Without giving her a chance to respond Connor sprinted off towards the closing group of undead. As he moved he took his shotgun in his hands and cocked it, ready to unload it on the zombies who approached.
He hurriedly counted four as he closed the distance, eventually taking a position behind a parked car. He closed his eyes for a brief moment and slowed his breathing, You need to focus...calm down. As he opened his eyes he stood up he took aim with his shotgun, aiming over the roof of the car. With a pull of the trigger the explosive bang echoed through the street, followed by an audible thud of flesh on concrete. The recognisable sound of a shotgun being cocked filled Connor's ears as he cranked it back, quickly firing another shot. He continued the process until the four undead were nothing but bloodied, rotten corpses on the floor. He took the time to reload his shotgun before turning back towards the motel, Ana wasn't in sight so he could only assume she had made her way into the motel.
Connor broke into a sprint once more as he headed for the Motel, he ran with much more vigour than before. Ana being out of sight was a concern but she had proven herself tough up until down... She'll be fine...dont worry...

Location:Mount Atlas - Evening Character Tags:@MissCapnCrunch
It had taken forty-five minutes rather than the usual half hour to reach Mount Atlas, the speed limit restrictions slowing traffic due to the possibility of lingering ice on the roads. Leo had finally managed to get some proper alone time with Dustynn it just meant they had to travel outside of the city to do so. Usually his car would be filled with the relaxing sounds of shredding guitars and machine gun like double bass peddling, but today he turned all control of the music to his companion. He had a wide range in taste regarding music but to hand over control of his cars stereo was almost unheard of in his social circle.
Unfortunately during the drive up Leo had to share some bad news with Dustynn. "I spoke to Steve earlier and it isn't good news. They put a warrant out for his arrest so he went and turned himself in to save any drama. He says they want to charge him and a few of the other security lads for dealing with that brawl in the club the other Friday. It's the same old story, people are ok to pick a fight but when they get some back they suddenly want the law to get involved." Leo had a very strong opinion about the claim culture of the US and it was one of the things he hated most about the country.
"Ultimately I don't know what's going to happen to them, but i've got a solid law firm looking into it and they are ready to post bail as and when it's allowed. There isn't much else I can do beyond that. The police have all the CCTV footage which covers pretty much everything. They have that batshit bird bottling someone on camera and also Steve throwing one of the rioters through a table." Leo gripped the steering wheel tightly. "I just hope he and the lads just get a bit of community service. People have gotten off with much worse." Leo sighed and loosened his grip.
The roads in the national park were alot more treacherous than on the main roads but not to the point that they were undriveable. Fortunately after the previous years snow Leo had decided to invest in winter tyres in October. At it's heaviest point during the blizzard there would have been no way Leo's GTR would have made it anywhere, fortunately the thaw had made it possible for him to get on the road. With the thaw came beautifully clear skies and as the pair exited the car outside the observatory they were treated to an evening sky full of stars. Leo paused for a moment as he looked upward, he loved everything about the wonder of space. Even the possibility that a rogue chunk of rock could end everything instantly created more wonder within him than it did fear. It provided him with perspective on life and everything that was important.
Bringing his gaze back down he shut the car door and put a large, overly fluffy Santa Claus hat onto his head. He looked over to Dusty with the silliest of smiles stretched across his face. Growing up every kid loved Christmas but as Leo left home he found himself less and less interested in the holiday. Being away from his family and having little in the way of friends meant he didn't have much to care for. More than anything it was a day off work and an excuse to stuff his face with food. Then two years ago he was walking through the center of the City and came across a homeless man. The man had donned a christmas hat and a hole filled Christmas jumper, even the freezing cold couldn't dampen his spirits. He belted out Christmas songs and Leo just sat there listening to him for an hour. Something about that reinvigorated the Christmas spirit within him and he found himself celebrating Christmas like a child once more...albeit with alcohol.
Leaning onto the roof of the car Leo spoke, "So what do you think?" It wasn't the typical location for a date for people his age, it was something far more cheesey. "With the weather there won't be many people here..." Looking around the desolate car park there was only one other car and it was owned by the lead astronomer. "...It'll mean we get free reign on the telescope. Unless you'd rather just take a walk and take it all in that way." Leo lost himself in the stars once more as he looked up, feeling a warmth take over him as they sparkled across the blackness of space.
