Frelsun

"...I slept fine." Asael mumbled, staring out the window with little to no interest. They nuzzled their face into the crook of their arm, watching the passing scenery.

The woman visibly frowned, her lips tight. "Yes, but then you must live with lie you're entire life. I'd prefer to keep my slate clean."

Frelsun

The blonde had already fallen asleep, curled up like a kitten in the back seat. The eyes snapped open when they heard the revolver, the iris a bloody red color. The brilliant shade died down back to hazel, Asael sitting up with a piercing glare into the back of Fade's head, but soon closed their eyes again and curled up against the door instead.

Patty gave an almost cruel grin. "I'm not that type." She leaned back in her chair, running her fingers through her dark hair boredly.

Frelsun

"Nehh, don't say such things~! You're going make me sad!" The blonde got on their knees just so they could lean forward far enough to hug Zevrox from behind the car seat. Asael sat back, looking towards Fade. They gave a cute grin, reclining in the seat before stretching themselves out across the backseat to get ready for the somewhat long drive. They were so small and thin... Could something so seemingly innocent really be that dangerous?

A thin eyebrow cocked in response. "As I said, I'm underling. I was told to come here, so I did. I'm merely following orders."

Frelsun

Asael pouted again, releasing his sleeve. "You make me sound like I'm mean. I just want to do something for the group already~" They purred, hopping into the backseat alone and swinging their legs joyfully.

A hand was placed over her mouth again as she laughed. "It's not like I want to. I simply don't have a choice in the matter." Patty seemed completely unfazed however. It seemed nothing frightened her.

Asael looked back at Fade as he mentioned fighting. For a moment, a smile cracked the pretty face in an almost evil grin seemingly at the thought of hurting someone, but as soon as it appeared it was gone again. The blonde held Zevrox's sleeve in a childish way, humming sweetly as they skipped beside him. What was with this kid?

"Z? Can we get to fight too? I'm bored, pleeaase?" Sparkly hazel eyes gazed up at Zevrox in a cute puppy-dog way, pouting adorably.

"Afraid I cant, dear." A little smirk played on her coral lips. "Unlike you chaps, I'm only an underling. I don't have much of a choice." Patty shrugged half heartedly.

The Bakeneko

Hige raised his head hesitantly, yellowish green eyes scanning over the other curiously. "A kitsune... Ears and tail...?" The white haired boy look confused as he reached up to his head, feeling the ears now perked up there. "Oh, I didn't realize I was that nervous..." The boy mumbled, and in the blink of an eye the fluffy tail and matching cat ears were gone in an instant.

"Um, no, I'm not a kitsune. I'm a bakeneko. Those aren't supposed to show, usually." He said with slight embarrassment as he motioned towards where his ears used to be. "I, am new actually! My name is Hige. It's nice to meet you." Hige cocked his head to the side with a sweet smile.

The Bakeneko

An unusually long white tail flicked anxiously behind a boy, matching velvety soft ears pinned down on his head. The eyes, slanted and feline, searched the ground at his feet aimlessly as he walked, keeping his head low. The bare, pale and small feet made quick steps towards the school, not particularly watching where they were going.

Hige wasn't typically shy for a cat, in fact he could be considered quite friendly. However, Hige had only met a few people at a time his entire life, and had never been in crowds before. The many other yokai on this campus was frightening to him, so he just figured to keep to himself until he could meet them all in smaller doses. For now, he would just head towards the office, grab his schedule, and wait until lunch was over. It was the best plan he had come up with for now, and so Hige was sticking to it.

That was, until the bakeneko, who had not watched where he was walking, bumped into another person (anyone). Hige blushed softly, backing up and quickly bowing his head. "A-sorry!"

I can work with that, since Bakeneko are a rather weak type of Yokai/Monster compared to a lot of others, that should be enough more than enough. accepted, I suppose just act like they been there the entire time in the background or just arrived at the school being one of the few rather late ones.

  • Ears and tail will appear on 'human-like' forms in intense emotions. (Extreme joy, sadness, anger, fear, etc.)
  • Will turn into default cat form if surprised or exhausted.
• Cannot use reanimation.
• Water, even just a glass, will drastically decrease his powers and he will become weaker. Cold weather is also bad for him.

True Form

Stands on two legs at 4'5", six inches shorter than the human form.

Default Cat Form

The same colors as the true form.

Backstory: Hige had a little boy, who was his master before Hige was a yokai, named Reiji. Hige had been a stray cat, on the verge of death in the snow when Reiji found him, took him into his warm home and arms, and loved him. Hige loved Reiji with all his heart, but one day he overheard a conversation with his mother saying that Reiji would be going to college and they had to get rid of Hige. Swallowed with hatred and dismay, Hige's unnaturally long tail lit on fire and set Reiji's apartment to flame, killing him. Hige is adamant that Reiji is still alive looking for him somewhere, and the bakeneko doesn't know he was the one who killed him.
Personality: Hige is very childish and friendly. He's easily startled and has little to no care for personal space. Pat his head, and you're suddenly is pillow. However, Hige can be agitated quite easily as well, especially if someone pulls on his tail when it's showing. He has a strange addiction to sushi and milk (whole. Give him skim and he'll claw you.) Any mention of Reiji will send him into uncharacteristic silence and he won't look at you for days. He's terrified of water and dogs.
