Death let out a roar of fury as one of the flaming dragons slammed into him, sending him flying through a different portal that had formed almost directly next to him. "NO!" The alien roared in fury as he attempted to create another portal only to find some sort of strange force blocking his ability for the moment. He could feel his body already beginning to adapt to the force but he was still angry. He could feel the energy of the one who he had originally sought to fight. The one who's power matched his own.
"I can sense your energy." Death snarled. "Face me if you dare!"

Dren Hyuga watched for various potential threats through his Byakugan as he walked alongside a wooden fence. So far there wasn't too much to worry about, there was a small group of Solders nearby that were apparently talking about their plans for when they were done with their shift. Two shopkeepers who were arguing about competing prices and two other solders who were keeping a close eye on the arguing shopkeepers. It was apparently a somewhat normal day in Konoha except that there weren't a lot of people out but that was to be expected
After all, tonight was the night. And from what he saw it looked as if the Empire had no idea what was going to happen.
Dren continued casually walking through the village but stopped for a moment as he caught a glimpse of what looked like a woman standing over a series of graves who turned and walked away after a few moments of silence. Its hard to find someone who hasn't lost someone to the empire these days. He thought as he continued watching for a few moments before turning away and heading for his home. He didn't stay at the Hyuga compound anymore. In his opinion, he had lost that right but hopefully he would redeem himself both in the eyes of himself and his clan tonight.
Karela couldn't help but notice the man who had been watching her for a moment. He had turned and walked away but Karela had manged to catch a glimpse of his eyes before he had managed to fully turn around. He was a member of the Hyuga clan.
Karela couldn't help but wonder what life was like for the Hyuga clan. Based on what she had heard from rumors, they were impressive fighters and their Byakugan allowed them to target an opponents Chakra pathways. And unlike her now destroyed clan, they had a place to call home. Karela let out a sigh and headed for the one room apartment she called home. It was there that she could prepare for the coming battle tonight.
After all, tonight was the night. And from what he saw it looked as if the Empire had no idea what was going to happen.

Jax took a bite of his sandwich and let a small smile form as he closed his eyes for a brief moment and savored the taste of it. Of course he opened his eyes almost immediately as he heard the sound of a plate hitting the ground and smashing on impact, but it was more of a reflex than anything. He was always careful to keep his ears open just to make sure that there wasn't a rifle being fired in his direction or someone screaming when he was around. He knew that the choices he had made would make him a target once he revealed what he really was but for now as long as he didn't run into anyone who had investigated the lab he would be safe. He let out a soft chuckle as he remembered the panic that had ensued after his experiment, the files that had been classified and the way security patrols had been increased across America. The Villains thought it was over, that he would hide from what he had become and that he feared them.

No. Now was not the time but the time would come soon. Jax had made the choice not just because he was tired of the way the bad guys had control over pretty much everything. No, it was more than that. The heroes before the genocide had been icons. Heroes in every sense of the word. Personality: Dren has a carefree nature while not in combat but when in battle he is the complete opposite. He battles with all of his heart and will not stop until the enemy either retreats, is no longer a threat or surrenders.
Recent History: Dren was away from the Village when the Empire attacked and as such didn't learn about the attack until he was half-way home from a mission. He was able to sneak back into the village one night a few days after he got back after hiding out in the nearby forest. He felt extremely guilty that he wasn't around to help defend Konoha when the Empire attacked and so took it upon himself to redeem himself in the eyes of his clan by using his Byakugan to spy on Imperial solders holding meetings and other threats to the resistance.

They struck at night in one massive attack. Hundreds upon hundreds of Super-villains striking everywhere at once in a single coordinated attack that decimated the ranks of the Heroes in only a few hours. The Iconic symbols such as Captain America, Thor and Iron Man and others were the first to die. A message to the people that even the strongest of heroes would fall that night. No one would be safe, no mercy would be shown tonight. Even Asgard, home of Odin and Thor wasn't spared attack, although the warriors of Asgard managed to defend their home but at great cost.
In the aftermath of the attack, rumors persisted that a few heroes had survived the battle and had gone underground or had simply given up and abandoned the fight. Even now, years later, the rumors still persist of surviving heroes. Are they true? Are they false?
It's time to find out.

Appearance: Almost identical appearance to the Original Incredible Hulk except the skin is a lighter green color and there is no hair on his head. In human form, Jax wears a black jacket and khakis with a dark blue baseball cap.
History: No records exist of Jax before an explosion at a lab out in the Nevada desert. Search teams dispatched to the area found the remains of an old laboratory, burned research notes and a single note that had been typed at a computer along with a mysterious destroyed machine that looked as if it had been smashed beyond repair. All records of the incident were classified and the contents of the note were never revealed.
Personality: Jax is normally quite and intently focused on the task at hand. Even when in Hulk form Jax retains a good portion of his intellect although he does prefer the physical approach rather than thinking his way through.
