I suppose you should stick around with others as Karela until you grow accustomed to combat RP? It's always better to have a colleague checking if you're doing shit right and vice versa.

Well, not to toot my own horn, but I've been doing combat RP's for many years so I've gotten quite good at it. If you'd like, we could have a little sparring match in a separate thread where I give you advice along the way. That would probably be the best way that I can help you.

I'd appreciate that. Would it be with our characters from this Rp though?

I think one of the issues I'm having is knowing if I'm god-modding or not as well. I think one of reasons I haven't been doing so well is because I'm afraid if one of my attacks touches another character I don't know if it's god-modding or not. If someone could clear this up for me I'd really appreciate it :)

Hmm...I'm a little worried guys. It appears that I'm not exactly up there with the rest of you when it comes to combat in this Rp. Karela and Dren didn't exactly shine during the battle against Kenta. I could really use some advice on how to improve on this.

I might drop Dren as well. No offense, I seriously want to stay in this Rp but I'm also struggling with the combat aspect.

In his mind, Kires was back on Planet Vegeta. He saw so many of his brothers and sisters in arms. He had left when he should have died with his world. He should have never become a wanderer. He could have stayed and possibly made a difference against Frieze when the tyrant had destroyed his world. He had left Vegeta for two reasons: He did not agree with the way of life the Sayians had adopted. He did not like the idea of wiping out the inhabitants of planets simply because someone told them to. The second reason was that for all intents and purposes was that he was for all intents and purposes...alone. He may not have agreed with the choice of life the sayians had taken but he had certainly not wanted to see his race wiped out.

"Ugh..." He muttered as the dream world turned to black as for the first time in many many years his eyes opened.

The first thing he saw was a blue sky. The second more immediate thing he saw what was apparently a woman standing above him. She didn't look like a member of Frieza's guards. This didn't look like Frieza's ship.

"Yes..." He said in a raspy voice, his voice not having been used for many many years. "Yes I hear you."

He looked to the left and than to the right.

"Where is Frieza?"

Well, the ship is about to enter the atmosphere if that helps. Maybe she could get on the remains of the ship and be there just as the power shuts down. Then Kires wakes up and then it's time to bolt before the ship either hits the ground or is destroyed by someone.

"We need to leave. The longer we stay, the higher the chance off someone big and bad turning up and civilians getting hurt. If we leave, they'll follow."

"You've got a point." Jax grunted as he grabbed a newly arrived bot and ripped it's arms off with a single grasp of his hands and then threw a punch at it's head which sent it flying off into the distance as it continued letting sparks out of the area where it's head had been detached. "I think we've already got problems. These new bots are starting to set up a circle around us. Possibly trying to soften us up for something else. It's possible someone bigger and badder is already on the way.

"Alright, gang. Whats the plan. Evidently we's all mutants and heros and such, and being so, we's gonna get caught and diseccted or somethin'. I can get us outta the city, or into a locked building, or something. Just make a plan I can't keep up these things long."

"Try and get us away from Duskfall." Jax instructed. "Keep us away from any cities or towns as well. The less people that know about us the better off we'll be. Word will spread about us but it won't be as fast if it's just one town."

Two streaks of flames appeared in the far off sky. They were coming directly at them at high speed and Jax motioned urgently to the portal. "Time to go. Those are most likely enforcers for one of the bosses in this area."
