Here are my characters. Both are from a previous Rp with some modifications

Velis

Name: Velis

Appearance:

Starter Pokemon:
Quilava ((Level 26))
Croconaw ((Level 24))

Equipment: Six Ultra balls stolen from a Cipher peon who attempted to steal her Quilava from her. The Peon ended up both legs broken and a broken arm as a result of the ensuring fight although the snag machine he was using was destroyed in the fight so Velis was unable to steal it.

Personality: Velis used to be a fun loving, somewhat goofy trainer before Cipher took over until her family attempted to defend their Pokemon from a Cipher peon with a snag machine. In the ensuing battle, all of her family's Pokemon were taken and her father and mother were killed while her younger sister was stolen away by Cipher and wasn't seen again. As a result of what happened, Velis became a cold and calculating Pokemon trainer who hid her emotions from everyone except her Pokemon. She now travels Orre as a wandering trainer.

History: Velis's father and mother were both killed during the first year after Cipher's takeover and her sister was stolen away after an attack on their home. The only two Pokemon left at her family's home were badly wounded and Velis knew that Cipher would most likely return when they got the chance so she took the Quilava and Croconaw with her as she fled to Phenac city to heal them. After spending a few days in Phenac, she discovered that a few members of Cipher had entered the town and were looking for a trainer matching her description. She was forced to flee to the nearby outskirt stand and was able to hide from Cipher for a few days until she was able to find a new place to hide: The Under. She was able to hide out there for a few years since both Cipher and the Resistance are not welcome there. After hearing rumors of the latest Cipher attack she made a decision

Take the fight to Cipher and make sure no one goes through what she was forced to go through.

Ross

Name: Ross

Appearance:

Starter Pokemon: Ryhorn ((level 20)) Machoke ((Level 26, captured Shadow Pokemon that was forced to evolve due to a Cipher experiment although it's heart is nearly open.))

Equipment: Stolen Snag Machine. twelve ultra balls stolen from a Cipher Peon that was stupid enough to pick a fight with him.

Personality: Unlike most of the people of Orre, Ross hasn't lost any Pokemon to Cipher and is actually a native to Kanto who was in Orre when Cipher took over. As such, he learned the hard way what Cipher does to traveling trainers in this region. He is a careful trainer who examines situations before acting as to best deal with the situation.

History: Ross is a traveling trainer who was stuck in Orre when Cipher took over and as a result he was attacked by a Cipher Peon one night. The Peon lost the battle due to the fact that he underestimated both Ross's battling skill and his determination. After the battle, the Peon attempted to take his Pokemon by force only to be soundly beaten and have his Snag Machine stolen along with his sole Shadow Pokemon. Ross didn't know much about Shadow Pokemon but he had heard rumors about them and as a result, battled with it and cared for it as if it was his own to try and open it's heart. As of now, his Ryhorn and the Shadow Machoke actually get along while double battling due to the fact that they have fought together for so long. Right now, Ross is trying to find a way to undo the final lock on his Shadow Pokemon.

Pokemon Colosseum: What Remains

In the land of Orre, the evil Organization known as Cipher was defeated twice. A ruthless organization, Cipher had plans of world domination through use of Shadow Pokemon, Pokemon who's hearts had been artificially closed, turning them into ruthless battling machines. During the first Shadow Pokemon epidemic, an unlikely hero rose up against them. A former member of the gang known as Team Snagem stole a prototype snag machine from Snagem and embarked on a quest to take back the Shadow Pokemon and Purify them. With the help of a woman who had the ability to identify Shadow Pokemon, he was successful and proceeded to snag and purify the Shadow Pokemon. Cipher was apparently disbanded.

Five years passed and Cipher once again appeared in Orre. Although the heroes from the first Shadow Pokemon crisis were gone, a new hero appeared and managed to once again, snag the Shadow Pokemon away from Cipher and purify them once again. For all intents and purposes, it appeared that this was the final end of Cipher and the Shadow Pokemon and the citizens of Orre rejoiced, believing that the land was finally at peace.

They were wrong.

Two years after the end of the second Shadow Pokemon crisis, Cipher reappeared with a vengeance and took immediate action against the heroes that had stopped them before. Wes and Rui, the heroes from the first crisis, were ambushed while traveling to Mount Battle and were captured as a message to the people of Orre: There would be no one coming to save them this time. Michael, the one who had stopped the second Shadow Pokemon crisis, disappeared the night the Pokemon lab he studied at burned at the hands of Cipher.

Cipher had sent it's message: No one was coming to help Orre this time. Two years have passed since that day and Orre is now under almost total Cipher control. They expect everyone in Orre to roll over and let them expand the organization outwards. They expect that the trainers and people that they have wronged to simply lay down and let Cipher take the world.

They're wrong.

Nearly everyone has lost something or someone to Cipher. But now it's time to strike back. For the sake of the people and Pokemon of Orre and the sake of others around the world, Cipher must be stopped.

Rules:
No more than four characters
Grand total of six Pokemon in your party at one time. It's most likely not a wise idea to put them in the PC since Cipher could easily steal them away but if you want to leave them with a trustworthy NPC feel free to.
No super overpowered Pokemon at the beginning of the Rp.
No killing off other player's characters without permission.
Please let me know if you want to leave the Rp so adjustments can be made.

What's the power level going to be like here? Honestly, I'm a bit tired of Pokemon RPs that have everyone start with a level 5 Pokemon chosen out of a list.

I'd say around level 10-15 to start out. And you can start with a first evolution stage Pokemon., Examples include Totodile, Beldum or Dratini among others. Your Pokemon will grow in strength as you travel Orre and battle against Cipher and other trainers.

I'll get the OOC up as soon as I can.

Interested. I have a question: Other than the past protagonists, would any of the canon characters still be around? Also, would we be able to roleplay as any anyone from Cipher VS those who are opposed to Cipher? Thanks.(I always seriously thought there would be a return of Cipher in the games, considering Ardos seemed very keen on reviving the organization...thought it was some foreshadowing of a sequel...but Nintendo thought otherwise, I guess. :P)

Yes, there are a few other cannon characters around. And yes, you can play as someone from Cipher. :)

I figured I'd give another Pokemon Colosseum Rp another go. The basic premise of this Rp is that in an alternate universe. Cipher slowly began to rebuild after their defeat in Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and after years of waiting and observing possible threats, They struck at key strategic locations all around Orre and waited until the previous Heroes of Orre such as Wes, Rui and Michael were at their most vulnerable and proceeded to capture them to keep them from interfering in their newest attack.

In the Rp, two years have passed since Cipher managed to finally take over Orre and now have plans for the rest of the Pokemon World. Cipher thought that trainers who had lost nearly everything would simply lose the will to fight and let Cipher roll over them.

They are wrong. And now it's payback time for the citizens of Orre.

Trainers who lost nearly everything to Cipher are eager for a chance to free their home from the clutches of the evil Organization. Trainers from other lands have heard of what Cipher has done to the Pokemon and the Trainers in Orre and made the decision to bring the fight to Cipher to stop them before they can harm the Pokemon and citizens of other lands.

Viran smiled as he grabbed another fruit from the table and turned towards the woods. "I would appreciate that Mina. And thanks for giving me a bit of a warning as to what might be waiting for me."

Viran headed towards the woods and raised an eyebrow as he saw groups of other Valkorians approaching the settlement. Many of them carried various machines and others carried bundles and crates full of food. Viran's eyes were drawn to a basket that seemed to be filled with some sort of cooked meat that to be honest smelled quite delicious. He could see more and more of them coming out of the woods carrying various supplies. He looked ahead and saw Rikelis and a female Valkorian who was almost as tall as he was. That was something that caught Viran's interest but the other thing that caught his attention was how similar the way their faces looked to each other. Viran slowly approached and looked at the two Valkorians.

"Uh...You wished to see me?" He asked carefully. The female Valkorian stepped forward and hesitantly let her hand reach towards him.

Viran. Do you recognize me?" Valis asked carefully. She knew that it was most likely a shot in the dark but she had to try.

Viran thought for a moment. Something about her voice was familiar but it was faint. Something from very long ago. He nodded slightly. "I do not recognize you personally, but your voice is...somewhat familiar. Have we met before?" He asked carefully

Valis smiled as tears of joy came to her eyes. "You were sent away when you were but a baby. You may not recognize me after all these years but I still recognize you. I recognize you as a mother recognizes her son."

Viiran's eyes widened in abrupt shock and he almost fell backwards due to the shock but Valis managed to grab his arm and hold him up.

"Mother?" He whispered in a shocked voice as he turned to look at Mina and then back at Valis.

"You...I...You're my mother?" He asked again in the same shocked tone.
