It's been a long time since I've seen or heard from Isobu, Many, many years have gone by. In fact, I think it was only a few years after the Fourth Great Shinobi war to be honest. Tell him that I'm doing well and it's good to hear from him again.

Kai let out a small chuckle. "Gyuki says that he's doing well and he says it's good to hear from you again." He said as he looked over the newest Jinchuuruki that he was meeting. "So, how did you end up with a tailed beast?" He asked.

"I am very sorry for snapping at you. I wasn't angry at you, it was the fact I was lied to my entire life about being the only one."

Kai watched with a single raised eyebrow as what appeared to be another Jinchuuruki from the Hidden Rain village. He seemed angry and Kai was about to intervene when he apologized. It was at that moment that Kai realized something that brought another smile to his face.

He was on a team again.

He hadn't been on one since the incident in Konoha and he was partly glad and partly afraid. Glad that this could be a new start for him and glad that there were others who were in the same situation as he was. But he was also afraid of losing the other Jinchuuruki. If Konoha got their hands on them there was no telling what would happen to them.

It might be up to you to protect them when the time comes. The Eight-tails voice echoed through his mind. You might not know them all that well but I can already tell: You don't want Konoha to hurt anyone else the way you were hurt.

Correct. Kai thought back at him.

"I am sorry for your loss. I became a Jinchuuruki when i was an infant, my village at the time were skeptical of the republic and believed that it would treat us like a commodity to exploit for their own gain like the way the great nations did in the past. so as a sign of good will they gave Amegakure Isobu to make a Jinchuuruki of their own and i was chosen to become the Three Tails' host and represent the power of my village, they said it was a great honor but the life of a Jinchuuruki is a lonely one"

"The life is indeed a lonely one." Kai said quietly as he thought back to the friends and and his deceased family he had left behind in Konoha. "But once you become a Jinchuuruki you find yourself with a constant traveling companion. When I became the host of the Eight-tails it was somewhat frightening at first but he and I built a bond of trust that I feel will never be broken, not to mention the fact that when he was sealed within I was able to learn quite a bit about the past hosts especially one who went by the name Killer B."

A small smile appeared on Kai's face. "If you can build a bond of trust with the Three tails, you'll never actually be alone. In my experience they make wonderful traveling companions."

"H-Hello... I'm the Jinchūriki of the Hidden Rain...."

Kai turned to look at the other Jinchuuruki and smiled again.

"Greetings. I am Kai Yatoma, the host of the eight-tails."

"I am well aware of the dangers that this mission brings and the reasons behind it. but I have a one question, which village are you from, my guess is since you have the Eight Tails as your Bijuu, you are from Kumogakure right?"

A very small smile appeared on Kai's face. "Actually I once was from Konoha. But I asked too many questions and my family ended up paying the price and I ended up leaving the village behind me. It was a few weeks after that incident and a few run ins with the ANBU black-ops later that I found myself sharing my body with the Eight-tails. It was the only way to save my life."

"What about you? How did you end up becoming a Jinchuuruki?" Kai normally didn't bother other people but he had to admit, he was a bit curious.

"My name is Maiko Azzori, I am a genin from the Village Hidden in The Rain and the Jinchuuruki of Isobu the Three Tails. nice to meet you Kai Yatoma, and also you too Daisuke Fukui."

Kai finally managed to pull the kunai knife out of his leg and tossed it to the side on the ground. He looked the genin from the Hidden Rain Village over once. " Maiko Azzori...I assume you know what your getting into and have accepted the mission? If you have, let me know if you have any questions about the Hidden leaf village. I'm going to try and make sure that everyone has the knowledge that they'll need to come back from this mission alive."
