Public Service Announcement: Roleplay is a hobby about writing, but further about writing together. This means that communication is critical. Be sure to express yourself politely to new acquaintances

Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

I should use the Elite: Dangerous autopilot to do more reading.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Sorry, guys. I want too many things on my plate to fit this RP. I finally realize this. I've got room for just one, and sorry, it's not this one. Y'all are great, though. Catch ya later.
Alright! I'm gonna post, dammit!
Achg. I wanted to take part in this, but I'm afraid I don't seem to have it in me. Just not enough time in my life for as many RPs as I want right now. I must withdraw.
Just making more detailed descriptions of my chars magics.
Lumina Obscura - A Primer

Lumina Obscura is a magic that shines an invisible light, and hides from light detection whatever it shines on. Depending on the power and technique, one side or one portion of an object might be hidden, or the whole thing.

Lumina Obscura is commonly available as a holder magic. It comes in a flashlight, and is commonly used for common tricks and illusions. Even a non mage can use it, though the effect on such a case is minimal, rendering only small, inanimate objects completely invisible.

Rarely, mages can find that, after using the holder magic for a time, they can use the magic freely as caster magic. These mages will find they are able to, first, emit the light from their palm, before gaining an ability to emit the light from a certain distance. Some mages will also find an ability to see whatever the light shines on, despite it being invisible to everyone else. With enough skill, a mage could emit the light just from a place in the space around them, without giving any movement or tell.

Up next is Energy Make.
I AM ALIVE yes. Hello. Here I am, krackle krackle.

Eeerm, whaaat team am I on? :x
Trinity Stratos

Trinity wasn't one to conduct in any sort of standard way. Not that she needed to, that would probably hold her back in the end. The music would not flow through her the same way if she didn't do something involved. Play an instrument along, or dance. A very peculiar dance, she danced while using the baton as a focus for all those instruments. The baton had to be pointed at least vaguely at them at all times, but she made it work.

She took a moment to view her audience. She was not the center of attention here, this was not a concert. There was dancing, and mostly mingling, so she couldn't be too boisterous. Swing and Big Band were probably the stretch of it, so she should draw it back. She had probably been too eager to show off in starting so big, but now that she was in the swing of things... she had just wanted to play like this again.

She'd missed it.

The song ended, and she stepped forward. She made a few Energy Make circles in the air among her instruments, for synthesizing sound. She walked up to a standing bass and sat beside it, stool forming under her as she did. She'd take the bass and begin to play something a little slower, and a little softer. But just a little.

Ryan Kregor and Vanilla Lane 'Emily'

In a secluded section of the hall, behind some column or other, two figures faded into view. "So you can be quiet after all." Kregor glowered at the woman, who shot him a fast, scornful or... playful?... look. She said nothing. Though it was his voice, the face was different. "It only took us an hour to make these, so best behavior. Recon. No trouble."

"Ha ha ha ha, okay, okay." He laughed and stepped out. "I won't tell a soul, I swear. Now, c'mon. We should mingle before someone thinks we're weird. Hey, speakin' of. Here's someone else who's weird." Ryan turned and found a Karn, standing off to the side on his own. "Ryan. Ch...armed?" He honestly wasn't sure. "Emily."

'Emily' seemed surprised, almost, but shook the state. "Ah- what?" They exchanged glances, Ryan obviously expecting Emily to have been paying attention, before she caught on and looked at Karn. "Male."

"Ah." Ryan held out his hand to Karn, wearing a welcoming smile.

@Silver Fox
I never did change the song.
Oh my god.

I just made French Toast in some bacon grease. It's delicious.

I'll probably post the next song soon.

Private Durandal

Regan was focused on resting and healing when she was approached. She was taking careful, measured breaths, trying not to agitate any healing her body was undergoing. She cracked an eye open when she heard someone approaching, spying the uniform and closing it again. "A field medic? Ooh, just the people I need." She smiled softly, before adding, "cute, too. Here, I can handle your weapon for you if you patch me up. Deal?" She spoke only loudly enough to be heard, not wanting to strain any injuries she might have.

She felt tired. Was that a bad sign? She was sure it was normal, but that didn't answer the question. "So, how's it look?" She opened her eyes to keep a lookout, and shifted just a bit so she could comfortably aim and shoot.
