Public Service Announcement: Roleplay is a hobby about writing, but further about writing together. This means that communication is critical. Be sure to express yourself politely to new acquaintances

Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

I should use the Elite: Dangerous autopilot to do more reading.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Yumeiko no Akame no Kami

Location: Building #1; Hallways → First Floor
Interactions: @Xaltwind Miyuki, @Lemons Velvet, @Kuro Suzy

The door to the stairwell on the first floor apparently opened itself, and out stepped the foxly pair. One pair of their tails were coiled together, while the rest of Yumeiko's swayed gently. They were chatting a bit about what kind of food they had a taste for, but as Yumeiko saw the sight of Velvet, crouched and ill, came into view, she exchanged a concerned glance with Miyuki before she began to step forward.

The younger of the two approached Velvet, concerned. She reached out, but stopped a few steps short. She could feel a powerful, ancient curse. Directly in front of her. This young woman? “You're..” she could not tell where the curse ended and the woman began. Yumeiko’s eyed widened and she gasped, a hand rising to cover her mouth as she backed away quickly. She couldn't dispel it without disrupting her entire being and killing her. Besides, she wasn't sure she could if she tried. Maybe seal it, but this seemingly young lady was probably a resident of this building, so that wouldn't do, either.

“Miyuki. I shouldn't touch her.” She spun on her heel to look at her companion, a soft scowl maring her expression. “I shouldn't be near her. I-, ah..” this had never happened before, she wanted to help but her help would be anathema, “I'll go to the lobby for five minutes.” She turned back to Velvet, backing away further before offering a bow, “I'm sorry, miss.” She gave Miyuki a soft kiss on the cheek, though she had to stand on her toes to do so, and then jogged off down the hallway.

Wow! It was cold in the lobby! She wished she'd worn pants, if it was going to be like this. But, wait, the hallway hadn't been like this. As well, she could feel- aaah. That's why the lobby was particularly cold. There was a spirit in this room. She closed her eyes and felt for the presence, and her attention slowly closed in on Suzy. Her eyes opened and there was the spirit. A young lady, doing her best not to bump into anyone. The spirit fox approached.

“Oh, hello. I didn't realize we have spirit neighbors, as well. Nice to meet you, I'm Yumeiko.” The demi-human smiled and waved, her five golden fox tails wagging slowly behind her. This was a welcome distraction to the mess she left Miyuki with. She'd have to make it up to her...
Dammit, time for work. I'll have to finish my post afterward. ;.;

Well, at least she won't be vomiting.
That's a good point, she did just run a gauntlet.

She'd feel really bad if this happened every time xD
Oh, boy, Yumeiko and Velvet are gonna have a really rough time.
Thankfully we're not playing entire nations nor are we dealing with such massive chaos. I do remember, back in the day, having, like, sub forums dedicated to an RP.
As Xalt and I did a collab, as I foresaw a bit of back and forth before even leaving the condo xD
@Lemons Hehe, thanks, Lemons. They're fun to write together, too. I'm not sure I usually write the breaks in the relationship. xD
I did a little bit of quick editing, as well, to help the flow. :3 Just moving things around slightly, really.
I suppose that means we're good to deploy, Xalt?

Trinity looked up from the bar as she heard footsteps nearing her. Ooh, it’s the candy recruit. ”Hi, Matthew. I’m Trinity. You’re right, I’m new. I just got my stamp, see?” She tugged at her collar to better show him. While her hand left the strings of her harp, it continued to play. The not-longer-wandering bard nodded to his questions, ”thanks, I’m glad you noticed. I’ve played for about as long as I can remember, it’s really fun.”

The golden and shimmering Energy Make construct, made of springs and rods of various sizes in a complicated shape, hovering over her shoulder, let her clearly hear the approach of someone from the kitchen, as the man came by with food for Matthew. Not hers, yet. She couldn’t help but ogle his plate, it looked delicious. “As for my magic-”

"Okay, so which one of you ordered the egg toast?"

”Yes, that was me.” Trinity raised her hand and turned to face the voice that had called. Hm. Something in the way he had said that... Had she used a name for the dish that wasn't recognized here? Maybe she should have asked for a menu.. Ah well. She turned back to Matthew, her hand returning seamlessly to playing her instrument herself, ”Did you see? It’s called Bard’s Legerdemain, and this,” she motioned to the construct over her shoulder, ”I made with Maker magic.
