Exactly, Isis is just making conjecture to give people some hope for(although not doing a good job/not being entirely serious by adding her own brand of morbid jokes.)
She doesn't know how long they've been out for, but a rescue is a possibility.

Isis shrugged. They were right, she wasn’t an American, and much of what she knew did come from movies or the internet.

“That’s a good point,” she commented, addressing both Sam and Nika simultaneously. She still kept an eye on Monokuma, in case he did anything unexpected to Gwen. “I’ll admit, most of what I know about SWAT is from action movies. Armed police isn’t really a thing in the UK. But there are certainly helicopter parents with a trigger finger on that emergency telephone number though. You see that kind of funny story on the local news columns every so often.”

Iphie tilted her head a bit, putting a hand to her head. “Once the robot bear is done with us, we should try to find out how long we’ve been unconscious.”

IE, no phone call from son for xx days, wouldn't they get suspicious?

I (and Iphie, in the post I'm about to make) have read silly stories on the paper about helicopter parents that dialed 911 because their son didn't call home one day. That's the extreme, but even normal people would eventually know something's up if they can't reach their friend/family member/coworker.

The police don't care, but our families would. They would call the police if something's up.

Some helicopter parents even dial 911 if they kid doesn't call in a 24 hour time period, and that's in college.

Iphie grimaced. That’s right, they were near Hollywood, not D.C. That was where she flew in to the United States. It made little difference though, despite it being one of her bigger slipups.

“D’oh. Sorry, I meant Hollywood.”

As she spoke, she eyed Gwen at the corner of her eye, picking up the Monokuma bear. Iphie knew nothing good would come of it, but she would, of course, not interfere. People already made enough comments, and hers would be redundant. Besides, it would be interesting if something happened to her.

“Perhaps they haven’t obtained the warrant yet,” mused Isis. “Even if they have no idea at this time, I think most of us have social lives. We would be noticed missing fairly quickly, and the last place we would have been at would be this school. And then, as I was saying, a SWAT team will roll in and steamroll everything. Naturally, since it’s American police, perhaps some of us might be killed in their hail of bullets, but that’s life.”
