We could take apart Isis' phone and establish a link to her laptop to give her a private eye though the cameras or a camera.

Phone is impossible to take apart without specialized tools, it would be the other way around. Take apart the laptop, use the phone! ;D

Or use it as a clobbering tool, a magnesium alloy roll cage holds itself up very well against human skulls, I hear...
Wire isn't hard to come by or manipulate, and Isis has a bunch of cables in her bag, anyway.
Isis doesn't have watchdogs tech, she'll actually have to directly interface with the cameras as I doubt the cameras are controlled wirelessly...
No problem, if comes down to it, we can stand on shoulders!

I'm guessing actually rewiring the cameras might count as destruction as Monokuma might lose the feed. It would be better to play it safe by just wiretapping them.
Aha~

Of course there was going to be some sort of catch to the entire thing. Rifling through a glossy Unity Academy pamphlet, Isis familiarized herself with the Monobear’s odd set of rules. The rules confirmed Monokuma’s claim that there would be free reign for killing within the school. But the culprit to undergo a class trial, and if she were to be found guilty, the culprit would face ‘punishment.’ The term was ambiguous, but Iphigenia knew without a doubt it was a stand-in for ‘execution.’ That was something that she could never risk. She needed no motives to kill, but she would never risk execution, although she found it preferable to the life sentences the Western world tended to dole out. Iphie deliberated for a moment, and concluded it would be in mutual interest to work together with others to try and escape. There were actually some decent people in here, and if she got on their good sides, they could be very useful later on. She wouldn’t try to stop anybody from killing each other though, the premise that Monokuma had set up was too amusing to ignore.

Flicking through the pamphlet again, Iphie zoned in on rules five and six. They were very loose rules, perhaps open to interpretation. If she picked a lock and didn’t destroy it, then all would be good. Likewise, if she tapped into the camera network, none of that would destroy the cameras. There might be room to play in the future, but she also knew that if anybody went balls to the walls on the technicalities, the rules might change in the future.

“I will be in the library,” said Iphie, calmly.

It would make no sense to stay in the auditorium any longer. Nova and a few others seemed about ready to blow up into full terror, and a boy had broken down into a fetal position. There was already enough of a din in the auditorium that made her want to commit murder right there and then. The library only made logical sense as it was the only useful place at the present, and it was going to be far more quiet than the auditorium. It seemed likeminded individuals that she could tolerate better would be going there, anyway. If there was anything as interesting in those files as Monokuma implied, she would be getting those immediately.
Ohohoho.

No rules against lockpicking or monitoring the cameras. Some people will have a field day until the rules change. ;D
Beat to the chase, it seems.

I'll still be around if you need another person.
Just as Iphigenia finished talking, Monokuma sailed across the auditorium and exploded in midair, showing parts and burning debris everywhere. The exploded bear left a small crater in the center of the audience, surrounded by the eerily smiling, burning cutout students. She decided it would be a perfect scene for a good horror movie if Monokuma hadn’t appeared once again. How cliché.

Making a mental note to come back and inspect the debris, Isis returned her attention to the new bear as it began to address her question. Iphie raised her eyebrows. She was trying to look friendly and helpful, not cold. Of course, she may have overdone it a bit trying to avoid giggling earlier, but it didn’t feel cold to her. Maybe it was the bad joke she made? People always reacted badly to her jokes, but that was one thing she couldn’t help. However, if whoever was behind that bear already saw through her, then that would kind of suck.

“Thanks for assuming I have parents,” commented Isis, wryly. “Very tactful.”

Of course, she didn’t give two shits about what Monokuma could or would do to her parents if they were still alive, but since he went out of his way to seemingly rub it in, she thought it warranted a response.

“Well, now that you’ve made your point that anybody that touches you will be kamikazed to death by… yourself. Let’s just get on with it. Does breaking any of your other rules also result in our ignominious deaths?”
Sorry, sorry, just a friendly debate about what our characters would think.
But of course nobody IC'ly knows that. ;D
