Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Well it depends, what would you have to offer? Tsar Voltus is an accommodating individual but he won't put his men at risk for nothing, there would have to be incentive. That and I'd like to know the size of your army, how professional it is.. Etc.

Well this sums up some of the troops pretty well:

In all seriousness, they're less disciplined and drilled compared to other nation's but are kept in line by the hope they can impress their commanding officer or even the Emperor himself.

As for size, still working it out but considering the entire nation went into baby factory mode 200 years ago and the military uses both sexes, I think it has a pretty large number of troops.

What Fuso can offer is the same as what the Dominion is offering Cyclone, oil reserves, its attempted mithril alloy (which is pretty good for the process they used to make it and is used in aircraft), walkers and various ores which can be found in its border

Well you should keep in mind that I'm Fuso's immediate neighbor, and though I'm not done with my military section it will be very professional. And with the Reds just across the water, I'd be trying to decrease their influence near me at an convenience. Though I'm sure my people wouldn't rebel, welfare state and all.

Would you be willing to provide some sort of assistance then?
No offense to the PRK, but I'm fairly certain the Emperor doesn't see you as quite as much of a destabilizing threat lol

The classical definition of a proxy war was Vietnam. Both China and the United States threw tons of support towards one side and really fought one another using the original conflict as just a pretext.

In this case it'd be more than just Moravia trying to undermine an enemy or make them look weak, since they have a vested interest in getting resources from the region. They would thus want to protect their trade partner and unify the region under a friendly government to get access to even more stuff.

Ahh, alrighty then.
Who would you support though?

Do what I did and use a bomb or shoot an archduke.

Emperor ain't that dumb mate, Zensen are derpy, not stupid :P
<Snipped quote by ClocktowerEchos>

Barring other factors then, it would come down to three factors, in order of importance:

1.Which nation is more powerful/offers us more value?
2.Which nation most shares our views towards Communism and the PRK and democracy?
3.Which nation is closer?

I'd imagine number 2 to be roughly the same since your governments (and presumably cultures) are similar.

Actually, I think it might be interesting if we just said that Moravia has supported the Dominion for a while now and one of their enemies (most likely the PRK) is now supporting Fuso, which would lead to a big proxy war. Anybody else like this idea?

I'd find the idea interesting, but its most likely not the PRK who'd help Fuso since Fuso won't want their help. They have a socialism-esque economy with the government planning quotas and such but its otherwise a free market. They'd also suspect the PRK as trying to sew seeds for a Communist revolution.

As for you're questions, Fuso is the stronger one at least in terms of land and its resources, I just answred the other question and the Dominion is closer but not by much.

Although, how would a proxy war like this work? The two sides nudge the empire and the dominion enough to the point its total war all over again?
@Cyclone

The split has been around since the crowning of the Golden Emperor which was some 200 years ago. Fighting is on and off but its basically a constant state of war with varying shades of escalation. The entire IC reason the Dominion exists is because its original leader didn't accept the new emperor of Fuso as a rightful heir or something like that and allied/annex his nieghbors to try and make his own.

@SigmaDoes that seem right to you?
@Cyclone

Wait, would you be supplying arms to both sides? I can't imagine that would bode well for either of the leaders :P

EDIT: How would you choose on which side to support in this little war between the Empire and the Dominion? We basically have the same resources up for grabs since we aren't all that far apart.
@Cyclone

Alright, I'll be importing your armor most likely and using your weapon design for my own compound weapons.
@Sigma I was reading over your NS and I have to say, I'm liking it. I'm interested to see how things turn out.
Question though, how much power do you have with Fuso and to what extent do you copy their equipment? I'd assume a good lot of your weapons are from the Not!Russia below you if they aren't Fusan guns.
@Cyclone

You got an NS up? If not, what do you have/want and what kind of weapons do you have?
