Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Ahh, so we can only play as EU classes?
Speaking of level caps, what's the cap for subclasses again?

@KimonoAgain, it'll all depend on the character and the RPer lass

IGN:
Falehen

Name:
Yang Zitang

Age:
25

Gender:
Male

Personality:
In game, Falehen is something of strict but snarky mentor character, he enjoys helping people learn but has a certain threshold for what he sees as incompetence. He's willing to go over things but if people get sloppy or he has to hold their hand, he gets angry pretty quickly. When his isn't in his teacher mode, Falehen is most snark with varying shades of jest. To players young than him, he uses the term "pupil" or "student" or something the like (especially if they've come to him for something).

In real life, Yang isn't half as strict at leas in matter not related to Elder Tales. He enjoys helping out the poor sod who can't figure out how to do his math homework or gets historical event mixed up. Although being much more amicable in real life, he still has his snark.

Build:
(Explain to me how your character's build works. By this, I mean how it would work in a combat scenario. For example, Krusty of D.D.D uses a Two-Handed Weapon HP Absorption Build)

Spells/Skills:
< *Name of Ability* >
Cooldown: (Short/Medium/Long/Once per fight/Once per day/Any words, not a set amount of time)
[Description of ability, what it does, what it looks like, etc.]

Equipment:
<Shou-Yin's Armored Robes> - A reward of a long quest involving the assisting of a ghostly alchemist seek his peace, the robes are weaved of fine spider silk and armored with <Iron Dragon Scales>. Its actually under leveled for him, its stats are geared towards someone in their high 60's or low 70's. Falehen wears it because he finds it both comfortable and beautiful, giving him a more "mentor" feel according to him. It gives bonuses to alchemy and elemental defense but is weaker in physical defense and special skills.

<Eyepatch of Insight> - A Magical-Class cosmetic item back from when Falehen had started playing Elder Tale and tried to be all edgy and dark. Although he's long past that stage of his life, he still wears the eyepatch out of both laziness and some lingering desires to look badass. Provides a tiny WIS boast due to its low level.

<Heavenly Imperial Jade Pin> - An Artifact-Class trinket obtained through the <Silk Bridge of Heaven> event on Chinese servers. Despite being an event item, its often regarded as a pure cosmetic item as the WIS, INT and defense bonuses are tiny. Regardless, Falehen views it as one of his most prized possessions.

Weapons:
<I'll Meet By Moonlight> - A Phantasmal-Class repeating crossbow, its found only in Chinese servers and is dropped from the raid boss <Moonlit Dragon Yuetian>. It gives bonuses to the <Rapid Shot> skill as well as granting slight homing abilities. In accordance to its name, if the moon is out and visable, the weapon gets a power up to damage and changes the <Rapid Shot> skill into a <Third Burst> skill which allows Falehen to fire a burst of three bolts but negates the repeating crossbow's quick reload time.

<Divination Bone Bolts> - Production-Class bolts, they are crafted from bones of <Ancient Mountain Turtles>, they are sharpened to a deadly point and have a chance to deal additional fire and bleeding damage to the target. Falenhen once attempted to make his own, he ended up with something more like bone powder glued together that fell apart on release.

<Fusang Oracle Round Shield> - A High Production-Class round shield crafted by a friend for Falehen's birthday one year. Beautifully engraved, bevelled and polished to a shine, it shows the work of a high level craftsmen. Even though Falehen doesn't use one handed weapons, he wears it on his back as additional protection after a raid gone wrong that involved a very feisty goblin with a fondness for piggy back rides.

Inventory:
<Ashe Dragon Embers Urn> - An Alchemist-exclusive, Production-class throwing weapon. It is a magical mixture of various flammable ingredients such as Charred Fire Fangs, Lava Gel with Ash Dragon Scales as the main ingredient all mixed and combined before being poured into ceramic urns with string attached. They deal AOE fire damage on impact and have a small chance to "reignite" and cause an additional explosion afterwards.

<People's Bag of the Revolution - One of those strange little propaganda things in a game, the item is also called the "Red Bag" due to both its color scheme and the message it sends. However, its a very good item, able to hold more than a normal <Magical Bag> while also increasing the wearer's speed.

<Seal of Golden Maw> - The seal of the Chinese production guild <Golden Maw>. It is a simple stamp made of jade with the guild's lion head symbol. Its made of a rectangular chunk of jade with two golden bands around it. Its said that this is Falehen's greatest personal object as its the only thing that connects him to the Chinese server he once called home.

<Great Wolf Whistle> - Received as a gift from the <Lelang Wolf Calvary> combat guild after <Golden Maw> did a favor for them, the whistle summons forth one of the <Great Wolves> which the combat is famous for. Falehen affectionately calls his "Mr. Fufu".

@LeidenschaftI'll most likely do a separate post for Lucex when morning comes and the party is back, feel free to cut me out of the collab. Sorry for not doing anything, irl just got heavy as fuck.
@Jangel13I'm sure everyone will be mature enough to understand the more complex something is, the more likely it is to fail. We don't need RNG or hard line stats unless we want to make it into a table top. Subclasses most likely aren't going to be playing such a huge role to the point where we need numbers for it. Assuming we all trust each other and we're all mature enough to understand the chances of failure, there won't be neither a problem nor a need for stats that over complicate things.

We all have to have some faith in each other to understand no one is perfect and can get something right all the time (unless you manage to get milk and cornflakes to spontaneously combust at which point there's no excuse).
@SilverDawn

I'm starting to think of a character and I'm wondering if an Youxia with Alchemist as a background would be acceptable since I'm debating on the addition of NOT!Black powder that Yang had in his pervious version. Maybe it could be something of an overskill or a secret recipe?
@SilverDawn

Ahh so basically the format used in the light novel/wikia for characters, got it. Will it only be limited to three items tho?
@SilverDawnMind if I re-ask my question from the previous page about how the weapon/equipment format stuff works?
I recommend we add more classes, for more variety. For example.

Warrior
Black Mage
Red Mage
Thief (One I'd use)
Beast Master
Lancer
Archer
Binder
Spirit Mage
Spirit Monk
Ninja
Geomancer
Dark Knight
Shaman
Magic Archer
Gunner
Weapon Master
Priest
Talisman User
Battle Mage
Warlock

There are just a few suggestions. Another good thing that I would like, is custom races, it would add more character creation and customization. Therefore, it would be more interesting.

Some races you could add are:

Dwarf
Elf
Roegadyn
Lalafell
Orc
Dark Elf
Laguz
Beast men
Animorph

They are just suggestions. I don't expect you to add them in JUST because I asked or suggested them but it would be nice to see. I think it would make the Rp a lot more fun and interesting.

The entire point of doing an LH RP is to use the pre made world of LH and use it with minor adjustments to fit the RP.

What you're asking is more like another fantasy RP which uses LH as an inspiration. I personally feel that the classes would either break or not fit the game (like Gunner as LH doesn't have guns as a big one) and they aren't anything interesting too, all of them feel bland or generic or done already. Most of the classes you propose are already in LH as different styles a canon class can take. Most of these classes are more archtypical presets from other fantasy media and do nothing to advance or increase the depth of the RP/story. They look and sound pretty and all, but bells and whistles will only ever be bells and whistles instead of something useful.

Same story with the extra races, they seem frivolous to me and do nothing in reality to make it any much better than what canon races could do. The large majority of them are just additional bread and butter races of fantasy and Elves and Dwarves already exist.

If we're going to be doing a Log Horizon RP, then I think we stick to Log Horizon and not try to make another generic fantasy RP.
@SilverDawnKk

Also, what is this format thing you keep refering too in the CS for weapons and equipment? Also, inventory should probably be replaced by "accessories", people will care more about an enchanted brooch than a hunk of rare metal.
