Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

@ClocktowerEchos Nishizawas backstory and mid flight dream is really hitting me straight in the feeelz

Srsly tho, glad you're enjoying it xD
Nishizawa opened her eyes not to the war torn sky, but to peace. All around her, it was serene and felt pure, this was a place not touched by the monstorsities of war, unscathed by the flames of destruction. The area was white as snow and soft as silk, yet felt like home, like she had been out travelling for weeks and was returning to her mother's arms.

Ba-Dunk

Standing up to the sound of a Japanese bamboo water fountain, Nishizawa took the time to look around. The land was pure and clean, serene and calm. Outside of the occasional structure or pond, there was nothing there. To her left was a large mount with a stone foot path and a red torii gate at its peak; by her right was a small waterfall and pond with the bamboo water fountain, the rushing water would fill half of the hollow piece of bamboo until it tipped over, dumping out the cold water and hitting a stone placed underneath it.

"Its been a while Nishi-chan."

Ba-Dunk

Nishizawa spun around on her heels and gasped, "Nii-sama!"

For the first time in forever, she smiled and bolted to her brother, burying her face into the white kimono of her brother, "What are you doing here? Where are we?"

"Have you forgotten dear sister?" Nishizawa's brother lifted up her chin, "This is the Kyōkaisenjōnohoraizon. The horizon in the middle of nowhere. You have been here before, the both of us."

Ba-Dunk

"Now, your time here will be short I'm afraid."
"Nii-sama, why?"

Ba-Dunk

"You still have a war to fight Nishi-chan. Fear not, I will be guarding you in spirit, Nishizawa. As a parting gift, enjoy the new song of the music box."

Ba-Dunk

"Nishizawa!" the girl heard Roland calling her name.
"I iz alrightu." Nishizawa snapped awake and yelled into the coms.

Taking a look around, it seems she got hit hard. Much of the cockpit glass was cracked if not completely shattered, the shards twinkling in her lap like gems. The left wing was pretty torn up, the ends of it looking like fabric in the wind, Nishizawa guessed it must have taken a direct hit. The rest of the plane was looking pretty rough, the engine spewed smoke and some of the electronics had seen better days.

"Roran, I vill be engragingu numba tree." And with that, Nishizawa heard the back machine gun open up. It was unknown if she was just hearing things out of delusion or some greater spirit was pulling the trigger, but it allowed her to once again pull her airbrakes and preform some fancy midair flips so she could try and get behind her attacker and let loose a divine storm of bullets.

@DrearyravenWould it be possible to have a smuggler or bounty hunter who "self taught" himself on how to use the force?
@Mihndar Subtly is not always my forte.

Uranium is used to creates nuclear fission, this controlled nuclear fission energy is used as the substitute for the gunpowder giving the cartridge a huge amount of energy, far more than it would normally gain from igniting gunpowder, and so is fired at a far higher velocity.

They're not nukes for a start. And to put it lightly, they're not beyond our technology, this little reactor isn't going to be able to power a city or anything, it will just be able to give the power for the firing of the rifle. So all you need is a source of radiation, in this case uranium which is handily abundant in my land, and some basic control rods to stop the chain reaction. The first nuclear fission reactor was built in 1942 I'm pretty sure, but it could have been built earlier fairly easily. All that happened was they then spent all their time and money looking at the bomb capabilities. The obvious risk of holding a small radiation producing stick of uranium is the inevitable radiation poisoning, but the sad truth is my nation nearly all already have it after the Fall.

Why I want them is because A) It looks Hella nice and B) Granted you may have to stretch the imagination a bit, but not hugely and I like the idea of it! I could already write pages and pages about this nation and their interactions with their neighbours! And thanks @ClocktowerEchos, but my nation is all burnt up and poisoned with radiation, it's either radiation powered guns or deadly sightseeing

I am no radiation expert or science expert, but I can easily call out BS on this. I know for a fact that uranium needs more power than something a gun or even a heavy ass back pack can produce in order to use as substitute for gunpowder. I'm not even sure if you could get it to work without violently exploding and killing your own guys accuming it would work.

Also, may I ask how the hell did your entire nation get radiation fallout? If that's the case, the entire fucking world would be having some trace of fallout with wind currents and stuff.

In short, where the hell is all of this stuff coming from? How the hell does a former colony have such advanced nuclear tech that they can make guns out of it (that wouldn't work). The rest of the world is most likely just getting started with nuclear reactors and you're chilling over there with uranium guns and nuclear fallout which some how doesn't affect anyone else.
<Snipped quote by Romero>That makes absolutely no sense. Also rifle sized micro nukes are beyond even modern technology. Why the hell you even want them?

This is all coming from the guy with a 15 meter jet engine boat thing of overcompensation
My understanding was that this was 1930s-40s tech correct? In that case the science is already there, proved evident by the Manhatten Project and all the steps in the understanding of nuclear science prior to that! Now the Manhattan project was a collection of some of the best minds with substantial funding, Sophie is THE greatest nuclear scientist with the funding of an entire nation, albeit a scorched one.

I'm not arguing for nukes, as it's obvious that that would ruin the game, what I'm going for is simply something kind of original to set my nation apart. Obviously I defer to the GM entirely, and I'm not attacking you personally, I just think chemical works best. Thank you for your suggestions in case it gets denied though!

You don't need to have something military to be unique, example: Fuso. It basically has the Hollywood of this RP and is an entertainment giant in some ways (that's what I was going for at least).
They're also the porn capital of the world to the point salacious behavior is part of their culture. Also a favorite spot of bachelor parties
@Louis Dabout

Again, Fuso. The reason why the first Golden Empress was called such a thing was that she not only brought peace but industrialized the nation so quite and Avalia had a hand in it. Not so sure about Izuno, but I'll wager that some close to it
All these Agility monkeys.

Gotta go fast like Sonic m8
I'm slightly interested but I'm afraid I'm not too much of a SW lore addict. Well, I should say I haven't gone into deep, I know some stuff of the EU but don't expect me to list Clone Legions off the top of my head (besides the 501st) or tell you what economical issues were of major concern in 21 BBY.

Can I still participate though?
