Okay, a quick introduction to myself, I'm Comsicangler - though feel free to call me some shortened version of that. Now I know I've been on this site a while and had almost no activity, however that's been due mostly to big changes irl and having most of my activity on a different rp website, however I needed a change and so have decided to migrate here permanently. So hopefully I should be properly active on this site from now on.
Life is now much more stable for me, I've gotten better at managing time (I write at 2 am, but come on that's cause me and a mate spent 3 hours reliving our childhoods and the literally nightmare fuel that was MR Blobby), but generally I have now more time in my day to spend on rping. Something I'm looking forward to getting back into.
As for myself, I'm a british uni student, studying archaeology in the hopes of doing anything but spending my life digging a trench in the pouring rain. (I've very much wisened up to that nonsense. Trust me, don't go into arch for the digging side, it's not all that great. Go for museums instead, especially if you can find one with a nice friendly staff team. Or just run - that works quite well too.)
Apart from that I'm a literate multi paragraph rper, however within that I can vary from 3/4 paras right up to 10+, despite that don't think that ever makes me someone you can't reach out to if you do less, I learnt with people far better than me and I don't consider myself great by any standard (Just fyi), but no matter the situation, please feel free to drop me a message ^^.
I have rped a lot of sci-fi recently and so am trying to branch out, paticuarly back into my favourite genres that I feel I've neglected in the past year like steampunk and fantasy so please, if you're looking for a partner for either please do reach out to me.

Oh you got it! Rich kid team protector here we come! I do like the idea that the "Cool kid" does care about his own studies, cause rich kid is gonna be on his case about it, while not knowing about everything else going on.
@DJAtomika Is it okay to make my character a big opposite to yours? More of the typical rich kid, goes to all the classes and the like? Just for some nice in-group rivalries and tensions?
With everything we're going for here, I'm fairly certain I'm gonna go for a more protective style character. Probably someone who when out and about carries some sort of makeshift shield as their weapon. Also a large supply of plasters and other stuff. Doing their best to keep the others out of danger and the like.
It was once said that the Alvor who seemed to live forever would rule forever. In fact it was repeated so much it became a proverb of the Tianfal empire, which unsurprisingly was ruled by the Alvor. Many claim that the Alvor started the rumour... Such a statement would be totally and factually correct.
It however isn't totally unfair to blame their own sense of smug self-superiority on simply being the most arrogant race. No, it's their looks that help them with that too. For all alvor, be that of the sky, the land, the caves or the sea, their ability to "glam" up their apperance does do wonders for their own internal ego. Besides once you've lived for almost three times the lifespan of most others, their worries begin to feel less and less relevant.
At the center of heart of it all is the strength of the Tianfal empire, stretching over their home continent of Awreala and over into the neighbouring continent of Orax. Now it reaching the end of the reign of the seventh Emperor, he lies half asleep, not knowing when it will become permanent. Though as he slowly dies, it is a peaceful death, one same in the knowledge that his eldest, the crown princess is a strong leader ready to take the throne. Unfortunately she's already dead, having died of food poisioning from the very exquisite dwarven dish she ate the night before. Afterwards the whole thing would be looked back upon as a clever ploy to throw the empire into a state of chaos by some extremely clever mastermind. Really it was just the mistake of one overenthusatic cook and his liking for a local sauce, which just so happened to be poisionus to Alvor. It was a very interesting chat for him afterwards.
This was to be the begining of the end, for the empire would never be the same again. In the center of the capitol city of Tian - A civil war was brewing, the second and third in line to the throne hated each other, everyone knew that. It was equally known that without anyone there to hold them back both would declare themselves emperor. Like many things which became "well known" throughout the captial, it very swiftly came to fruition.
Which is why Kudelia a local merchants daughter decided to run as far away as she could before the clouds broke. Yet to do that she needed a rag-tag team of helpers, one's who wouldn't hesitate to get their hands dirty should the need arise. So for any that were looking or just happened to be in the right place at the right time they'd find a set of small and discreet posters around the city, advertising for a group of willing helpers to meet Kudelia down at the Highwayman's Head Tavern near the sourthern gate.
A sorta high fantasy world with a bunch of wierd races and biomes thrown into the mix - like the goblin canyon cities and the gigantic mushroom forests with plenty of Dwarves who do just love their taste.
A few side notes before I show the last bits of info - it's not meant to be a long rp, just a few pitfalls here and there. It's just meant to last 2 months at most, so it can be something people can get invested in, but not have to dedicate long amounts of time towards. The world itself I hope to carry on into further rps, with the choices made in this one affecting many things further down the linfe. So afterwards if you feel like joining in with it again, I'd be more than happy, but if you just wanna take a small dip into this world, that's equally fine.
It's mostly just a whole collection of races which populate the world. The only non-playables ones currently are the Faceless, they won't really appear in this. The Tianfal empire incorporates basically every race in some regards apart from the people of the flame and for those that live in it, the Alvor enjoy a first rate citizenship while any non-Alvor are seen as inferior. Any non-Alvor living within the captial would either be a second-class citizen, who's family has lived there for a few generations, making them a noticed part of the empire, or an outsider who's just moved in, who's looked fown upon by everyone else.
Okay I think that is everyone ready - I've got one other CS through pms, so that makes a nice party size. I'll be putting up the proper OOC later today!
@LogantheCat Nope it's all pretty accurate to the race.
Maybe if you added some extra details to the places she's been and things sees seen that'd be nice. Get a little bit of extra detail in about what shes managed to do in her small life so far, but otherwise it looks good.
