If you want to play both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I'd recommend trying out A Tale of Two Wastelands.

If they at least have the decency to say that they're leaving instead of simply ghosting the RP, that's good enough to me.

Bio

I originally got into forum roleplaying on the official Bethesda Game Studios Forums in 2007 or 2008. When the forums were replaced with Bethesda.net, I was one of several close-knit Fallout RPers who came here.

What remaining slots are there?

Edit: And are steampunk elements allowed?
@PaulHaynek
OK. Thanks for the clarification.

Exiled. Or rather, under indefinite orders to stay far away. He'd be a Moon Kingdom cuirassier who was subjected to an artificial incubisation process in hopes of creating stronger, more capable soldiers (and determining or not it'd be worth effectively removing soldiers from the human gene pool). The project ends up shut down, and the cuirassier, not guilty enough to punish but not human enough to stay, is sent far away for the time being. If he kills some Varjans while he's at it, all the better.

Is it possible to play as one?
I've been watching this RP for a while. I've been wondering, what additional information is there on the Moon Kingdom?
Inquisitor Carver- Crater House

"Inquisitor," an Acolyte spoke, interrupting before Abraham could reply to Carver's queries. "We have a visitor, another of Atom's faithful," he continued, gesturing to a figure beside him- a hunched, hooded figure. "He has asked to see our congregation's confessor...as you are the closest thing we have to a Confessor, I thought to bring him to you."

"I apologize, Abraham, but I must handle this matter," Carver spoke, politely ending his previous conversation. He walked up to the hooded figure, unsure of what to make of him. The visitor was clearly altered by Atom's light, possibly ghoulified, but Carver had never seen a ghoul that carried itself like the being that now stood before him. The hunched, bandaged figure leaned upon what appeared to be a massive flail, and carried on his waist many bottles of liquid, glowing with Atom's light. Beneath his hood, his face was covered in bandages, and his eyes glowed not unlike that of the most Glow-imbued ghouls. A most strange fellow, unlike any I have ever seen before. As Inquisitor, it was his duty to scrutinize him, to ensure that this new arrival was not a threat to the word of Atom.

"What is your name, visitor? Where are you come from? And why have you come to this congregation?" Ian asked, stooping down to look the figure in the eyes.
As far as I can tell, the outrage over Wolfenstein II was started when the advertising team used the ad slogans "Make America Nazi Free Again" and "Not My America" on Twitter. Somehow the anti-SJW crowd interpreted it to equating them with Nazis.
On the topic of Wolfenstein II and Far Cry 5, here's my more detailed take on it.

Far Cry 5's reaction seemed to come about as a reaction to the title art, before the details of the game's plot had been unveiled. It was a premature reaction for sure, and naysayers should've waited until learning about the game's actual premise before deciding whether or not they have a problem with it. I personally think the most amusing about this fiasco, however, is when the NeoGAF crowd and their ilk got upset and lost interest in the game upon learning that the antagonists weren't simply white midwestern bible thumpers like everyone had prematurely assumed. I don't know if people continued to ignorantly complain about it after the game's premise was elaborated on, but if they did, that's pretty dumb of them.

Wolfenstein II's marketing was perhaps in both poor taste given the tensions of the recent election and, in my opinion, a poorly conceived attempt to be hip and current, but the anti-SJW crowd shouldn't have reached so far to take offense when none was intended. The media misrepresented the outrage to make it seem like the naysayers were objecting to the killing of Nazis, rather than the perception that they were being wrongfully equated to Nazis, but it doesn't excuse getting upset over what should've been nothing.
Anita Sarkeesian got ripped apart because she didn't play the games she was critiquing. But if these guys think there is some 'left wing video game bias' which you can only kill white villains instead of non white ones, Nazis and not communists, Christians and not other religious groups then they clearly suffer the same problem.

I wouldn't worry too much about it- misinformed right wing moral guardians have been whining about video games since the early days.
Giraud- The Lisette

Aboard the Lisette, Giraud carefully applied a weathered Fumigus blowtorch to the ship's corroded guardrail, bathing the metal in flame. The Lisette was always a demanding one, and it was a constant task to keep her in proper shape. It was worth it, however- answering her constant demands was well rewarded, for she was an excellent fishing vessel capable of bringing in all manner of beasts that prowl the coast on legs or fins. To maintain such a fine ship was a labor of love.

That wasn't to say, however, that it wasn't unpleasant. Giraud had made a point to do this repair work while sober, as to not risk causing any harm to the Lisette, and these repairs were taking longer than he had anticipated. Right now, he just wanted to be done with it so he could slink back in his captain's chair with the bottle of whiskey hanging on his belt.

Suddenly, the monotony of the repairs was broken by the sounds of gunfire and yelling coming from the town. Probably another raider attack, he thought to himself as he lifted his welding mask and looked up at the town. He was about to go back to repairs when he saw it. A small Deathclaw, a juvenile from the look of it, attempting to claw its way into one of the houses nearest to the docks.

"Well I'll be," he said, throwing off his welding mask and reaching for his shotgun. No, that's no good, it's too far away, and it doesn't want to come over here. He might be able to injure it, but not kill it, and it was unclear if it'd abandon its current quarry even if it was tickled with buckshot.

Hmm, if it doesn't want to come over here, maybe I ought to make it, he thought, formulating a most unorthodox plan. He put on his hat and hobbled over to the ship's harpoon gun as fast as his bad leg would let him. First, he pulled both triggers at the line holding the ship to the dock, messily severing it. He then tossed the now-unloaded gun down, quickly knotted the line to a harpoon, loaded the weapon, and lastly, took a swig of whiskey.

Let's see how you like being hunted, you overgrown iguana," he said as he took aim. A moment later, he pulled the trigger. The barbed projectile flew through the air and struck the beast, embedding itself in its back. Without looking to see how the beast reacted, Giraud limped to the bridge (if it could even be called that) and engaged the throttle in reverse. The engine sprung to life, sputtering out black smoke, and the ship pulled out of the docks, briefly jerking when the line went taut as the Deathclaw resisted. Once there was clearance, Giraud flipped the throttle forward and spun the steering wheel to starboard. The Lisette responded and made its way away from the docks. It struggled momentarily with its harpooned quarry, but overpowered the beast's struggle to stay on land and dragged it over the beach and into the water as it helplessly released a pained, almost pitiful cry.

They may be big stuff in their own element," he laughed to himself, "But take them out of it and they're as helpless as a whale on land."
