Ok, let me clarify what I've seen/heard/done so far IC.

- Rai hears Valerian's orders to cover and follow the others
- Rai sprints over to Cheren's location and begins guarding his flank
- Rai stands his ground near the sewer entrance after Ellie places Cheren in the sewer (I didn't outright state that I followed you and Cheren to the grate, but it was implied)
- Rai moves over to Jean's location (I believe it was near the sewer entrance @DriveEMOut?) and he helps Jean dispatch a group of vampires (my latest post)

That's what I have been doing IC, so I think we're closest to scenario #1 at the moment.

"Alright then, that leaves me with these poor bastards." Rai cockily said. Quick as a bullet, Rai rushed and impaled the first vampire on his right gauntlet. Using the vamp's corpse as an impromptu shield, he blocked the assault of the second vampire, and delivered a fatal slash to his attacker's throat. He quickly pushed the corpse off of his gauntlet before dodging to narrowly avoid an attack from the final vampire. Idiot. Utilizing the gap left in his defenses, Rai sliced the vampires sword hand clean off and plunged his other gauntlet into the vampires now undefended flank. "They're done for." Rai said as he pushed the last vampire off his gauntlet with a grunt.

Just as Val had told him, Rai stood his ground at the sewers entrance, ready to attack any vampire who was foolish enough to advance. One vampire rushed him, but he was blocked and quickly dispatched by Rai. Shit. That's a lot of vampires. he thought to himself as he gazed at the oncoming hordes. Rai quickly backed up into a defensive stance so he could think for a moment. Okay, so Cheren's in the sewer, Jean's right here with us, Ellie took off... Rai's train of thought was interrupted by a vampire who decided to attack. Rai just barely blocked his attack in time before delivering his deadly retort, consisting of three quick jabs to the bloodsucker's abdomen. Rai made his way over to Jean's position, six more vampires had decided to try their luck and were currently approaching him, Rai looked to Jean and asked "Which ones do you want, left or right?"

At the sound of Valerian's voice, Rai shook another vampire off his gauntlets and listened to his plan. On the inside Rai was a little relieved to hear that Valerian had an escape plan ready. Sure, fighting an overwhelming battle is exciting, but he did not want to get himself or the others foolishly killed. Rai turned to Valerian and smirked "Alright Val, I'm on it!" he replied as he dropped into a sprinters stance once more, focusing on a vampire about 35m away from Cheren's right flank. Rai shot like a bullet towards the vamp, even faster than the first time he used this maneuver. Rai quickly delivered two fatal slashes to the surprised bloodsucker's chest, before taking a defensive position slightly ahead of and to the right of Cheren. He looked over his shoulder to the injured boy " Don't worry about this side, I've got you covered." he whispered .Rai looked back out towards the incoming horde of vampires and bellowed "LISTEN UP PARASITES! STEP UP, AND I'LL FLAY YOU!"

Rai rolled to avoid a strike from a vampire who caught him unaware, only to retort with two deadly slashes when the vamp left his flank exposed. With every kill, Rai was getting faster and faster, dispatching vampires who the newcomer had weakened with relative ease. He cast his gaze to Valerian, "If we need to retreat call it out Val, you've got the best positio-" Rai was interrupted by a pair of vampires who landed a few cheap shots, one on his back the other on his leg. This caused Rai to lose his balance and fall to the ground, only to hear the two vampires begin taunting him.

"Filthy. Fucking. PARASITES!" Rai roared as he shot back up from the ground, his eyes burning like fires and full of rage. With incredible speed he launched himself at the two who had taunted him, making a bloody mess out of one vampire and impaling the other. "WHICH ONE OF YOU WANTS TO DIE NEXT?!" He shouted, ready to pounce on another target.

Rai crouched down into a sprinters stance, eyes locked on a vampire who was about to slip past the newcomers barrier. Rai takes a deep breath in order to steady himself, Let's do this Saki! Rai takes off sprinting towards his target, his own speed amplified by Saki. With a shout, Rai brings both of his gauntlets up to impale the vampire in his abdomen. He quickly shakes the corpse off of his gauntlets before moving to cover the newcomer's back, lashing out at another vampire who was about to break through. "Everyone still alright?" Rai asks.

Katsuro excitedly searched the armory for the perfect weapon. Chances are with his target, Katsuro wouldn't be able to utilize a sniper rifle like he had hoped, due to close ranges. His search came to an end when he discovered two suppressed Colt 1911s in the back of the room. Small, concealable, versatile, and best of all... efficient. Katsuro thought to himself as he analyzed the guns, making certain that they were in good condition, and nothing was out of order. After deeming that the weapons were fit for use, he turned and listened to Azuma's instructions. As a response Katsuro offered a bow "As you wish, Azuma-Sama." Katsuro wanted deeply to return to the surface as quickly as possible, mainly so he could be as far away as possible from the cretins who were training in the Cistern.
