Well if I'm not wrong, there's a platoon of vampires en route to where the other characters are at the moment. Perhaps your character was sent to scout the vamps out, or even to intercept the vampires? Maybe you could end up running into the others whilst coming back from a mission? Not the best ideas I know, but it's something.

Anyone else got Ideas?

Rai looked on as Mita and Jean made their choice clear, " Looks like we're gonna fight..." Rai commented as he cracked a grin "... and I couldn't agree more!" With that, Rai threw his arms out to his sides, deploying the blades on both of his gauntlets, and prepared himself for the vampires attack.

Rai stayed out of the brewing argument between Jean and a girl who he did not recognize. She'd came out of nowhere and immediately began yelling at Jean, something Rai was about to do himself. The discord between his squad mates plus the impending threat of vampires was not a good combo, so Rai stepped up to try and resolve the situation. "Look strongest or weakest link, it doesn't matter! We need to focus on what's important right now! The fangs will be here any time now, so we should make our choice. Stay and fight, or flee for our lives, those are our options."

"Maybe I did run like a coward. But you know what Jean? I'm finished with running away." Rai growled, his tone venomous. Rai turned around quickly at the appearance of Valerian, "If we include Guren, there's five of us who can fight." Rai looked to Jean "That is if you're in a good enough condition to fight." he looked to Valerian and smirked slightly "I wouldn't call those great odds, but it sure as hell beats running away from both vampires and the JIDA."

"Jean. You and I both know that Aya coming back is not. Fucking. POSSIBLE." Rai said very clearly and harshly through gritted teeth. "We all watched her die, you don't just 'come back' from those kind of injuries." He looked over to Jean and Rai saw that he was absolutely terrified. Rai sighed and put his annoyed tone to the side before taking a deep breath. "Jean, first of all, calm down, if vampires are after you, we will help you. I'm not going to leave you to die, nor will anyone else here." Rai spoke in a calm tone, for both his sake and Jean's alike.

"Maybe it's too early to decide this, we should get back before the others notice." Rai said as he stood up and stretched. He took a few steps in the direction of the barracks before turning back to Eleanor, cracking a small smile as he said "Ellie... even if it's not time for us to choose what to do yet, I want you to know that I'll trust you, no matter what." With that said, Rai walked back to the barracks, he was greeted by Jean's rather nasty yelling. "Alright, alright, calm down." he spoke in a rather annoyed tone. As Rai got closer he saw that Jean had a considerable number of injuries that he had not noticed before. "What the hell happened to you Jean? I know you got hurt, but not this bad!"

"Well then I suppose that leaves me with Dalkovich." Katsuro commented as he looked to Dai and Ringo, he was glad that he ended up with this contract. "Big Mark" did not interest him in the slightest, and Greone didn't sound like he would be any kind of challenge. Nevertheless Katsuro followed Azuma out of Natsume's office and into the elevator.

Katsuro was silent on the way down, preoccupied with his own thoughts of how he would bring an end to his target. As the group walked into Hell's Cistern and Azuma gave his speech, Katsuro looked out among the trainees and saw everything that Azuma was calling them was brutally accurate. Look at these pathetic bastards. Hard to think I was ever one of them. After Azuma's speech had concluded and the recruits resumed their training, Katsuro's eyes shot from recruit to recruit, seeing just how flawed they truly were. His eyes finally settled on one boy in particular, his face and body were bruised as he was sparring with another recruit. His stance was completely off and his attacks seemed to have no effect on the other boy. It wasn't just him either, all around the room recruits were making a ridiculous amount of errors. Their mistakes were so obvious Katsuro had to resist the urge to go over so he could berate the morons himself! Thoroughly disgusted, Katsuro turned away from the imbeciles and followed Azuma to the Armory. This place truly is hell.
