@DracoLunaris That's a great idea! I loved Shen's Last Gift and Julian was a lot of fun to fight. Having him marching around as this sarcastic ass-SPARK A.I was even better.

I tried finding a screen shot of the SPARK I had Julian in, but all I had was this:

I think having Lily Shen and SPARK Julian would be awesome. The conflict between the two would be really interesting and Julian would be a nice balanced addition to the line up. Having a robot and a proper engineer around would make a better power supply, robot parts/scrap, and larger weapons more valuable. So yeah go for it you have my approval on this. Just make sure you either PM me their sheets or post them up in OOC so I can give them the greenlight before putting them on the character section proper.

@Dead CruiserThis isn't up for discussion Cruiser. Ignoring any concerns about the setting itself 40k is a tabletop first and foremost. It's disqualified from entry into this roleplay by that fact alone. If you want to suggest a video game or video game series then I'll hear you out.

However I would also like to take this moment to let everyone wishing to join my roleplay know I have exactly zero tolerance for power playing. So if any of you intend to join solely so you can make a shallow, over powered character then I suggest you go searching somewhere else. This roleplay is supposed to be about the narrative and the intrigue of against dangers with limited resources, not min-maxing your character so you can 'win'.

@DracoLunaris Figure there's a case to be made for a game based on a game to be a grey area.

Furthermore that should disqualify Starcraft for being such a blatant 40K ripoff.

Similarities between 40K and Star Craft aside, Star Craft is primarily a videogame and 40k is primarily a wargame/tabletop. I'm normally willing to be flexible on this stuff but Warhammer 40K wouldn't really work well with the roleplay. Like at all. Even from a cursory understanding of the lore and setting that's clear as day.

So I'm afraid it can't be added.

Oh and System Shock 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne have been added to the game list on player request. Monster Hunter, Star Craft, and Bastion are currently next to be added into things.

@Crosswire I PM'd you Kerrigan's rough-draft CS to avoid cluttering the OOC, lemme know what changes you may want.

To be clear, I want her powers to be reduced to the point that a Siren from Borderlands would out-power her psiionically at first, leaving mostly her alien physiology to be her defining basis for her abilities. I figured she'd personally progress by slightly different rules than other player characters as well, focusing more on the betterment of their community than collecting stuff for herself.

Reducing Kerrigan's powers and making her progress differently from other characters is a really neat approach Frozen. It makes her stand out and gives her a ton of room for personal progression. I don't want to totally leave you out of the fun of the random elements of this roleplay though. So as Kerrigan evolves she could potentially pick up new Psi Abilities based off the ones from other games (Mindfray, Mind Control, est, est) or other fun stuff. How does that sound?

I'm glad you're interested in playing Kerrigan because of her character and the interesting possibilities, rather then the chance to play as some uber-demigod. It's great to have such good players interested in my roleplay. I'll work on adding Star Craft to the lists. You can work on Kerrigan whenever you feel like it.
