I'm sorry for taking a while with my own post. Still going through things right now, and I may need a longer break than usual. I'm not dropping this exactly, but feel free to continue without me. If it gets to a point where it would be hard for continuity to catch me up, then I'd be fine with having Mirdas dropped.
Just to make it clear, my necro isn't malicious, he just sees necromancy as a tool to be used. But if you insist.
It should be stated that while not all necromancers are evil, the school deals with actively evil energies, and even the spells that raise undead creatures such as Animate Dead and Create Undead both create creatures that are evil. It's the same reason why I didn't go with a devil binder I was considering in the Interest Check.
It's less that he can arrest the Necromancer and more like he just doesn't want to work with too many practitioners of magic that are either uncontrollable or malicious in nature. Plus, I have more characters in queue, anyway.
The current character I had in mind was an Abjuration Wizard working for a group that polices mages. He is very oriented towards the control of magic, so having both a Sorcerer and a Necromancer may be troubling.
