Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Word of my splendor:

Well, I'm not a huge fan of the idea in all honesty. The math and rules involved add complexity when I don't really see a need to have such a mechanic in the first place. Would 5 imps at first or 100 imps later even make a difference? I doubt it. And as in for manager roles, your constructs and actual creatures do that.

Sorry if I come across as angry or dismissive, but I fail to see why we need to do this with the imps or how it would really matter, and so I can't say that I support adding it in.
You can take AP classes in high school, and if you do well enough said classes give you credit for certain classes in college. This means less time and a lot of saved money in college, because here in the United States college tuition is ridiculous and student loan interest is also ateocious. It's not unheard of to be in debt for 20 years after graduating. It also looks very good on college applications, which can lead to scholarships (where the college lets you attend for reduced or no cost).

Alternatively some school systems offer dual enrollment, where government subsidies allow you to attend college and take a few classes for free while you are still in high school.

Put simply, the American school system is a ridiculous mess, probably stemming from high college dropput rates jacking up tuition costs, relatively unregulated student loan interest rates, and a general mentality that if you don't go to college you are stupid and will never get a good job, which leads to barely any people going to trade schools to be plumbers, electricians, and so on. It also means people choosing stupid college majors like women's studies (basically feminism as a class you pay for...as if being a certified feminist means anything) that won't get you a reliable job or have tons of competition for what few job openings there are.

Well, that turned into more of a rant than I intended
AP classes as a freshman are literally unheard of where I live. My freshman year was pretty easy because the hardest classes available were just Honors, and at that grade even honors classes were a joke. However, now that I actually am starting to get AP classes while simultaneously doing varsity sports, half the time I'm too tired to do anything with what little free time that I have.

All I can say is that if your school system is anything like mine, managing band along with more than one or two AP classes per year would be a nightmare. I had a friend with just one AP history class, an honors Spanish class, and a couple of joke elective classes. However, he tried to do athletics on top of that, which is what really killed him. He got home at about 5:45 and did nothing but homework until about 9:30, every day.
There is a fine line between having a web of rules that tangles everybody and starts to be burdensome and having a few general guidelines to keep things interesting and fair. It's pretty crucial for the longevity of a RP to get this right. I don't feel qualified to say if we have gone too far in either direction, but in any case we definitely need to keep this in mind when adding new mechanics and rules like you're doing.
You forgot to mention that creatures can be upgraded and constructs needn't necessarily be just bigger or otherwise better versions of the same leveled creature. Those have been two frequently asked questions so we should address them now.
These past three or four weeks have to have been one of the craziest parts of my life. One component of this chaos was my entire computer's hard drive becoming corrupted beyond salvage. I still have yet to set up the replacement (I'm typing this from an iPod, sorry for the inevitable typos and such) but I do have it just sitting on the floor, without WiFi capability. Rearrangig some furniture and moving te router should allow an ethernet connection, and I intend to get that done this weekend. Until then, Anything more than the occasional paragraph or two if just toonyc of a hassle for me to type.

Anyways, with that one issue being solved and the other things calming down and returning to normal, I like BBeast will soon be able to get back to it. Good timing, eh?

Trapezoid, you can message me if you like but it'd probably be beat to just post it here for everyone to see.
More feedback and all that.

Edit: I almost forgot to welcome our newest member, 001. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for volunteering to make those banners! That top one you made looks the best in my opinion.

BBeast, I volunteer to do the entirety of the OP if you want. Of course, I'll update it section by section like last time so that writing and critiquing isn't such a tremendous task. Afterwards you (or whoeve does the Compendium) can be the one to post it.
Take the ice witches if you like, but don't feel obligated. I would be willing to play them in addition to the fire warlocks/cultists.

I've got a solid idea for a rogue being. I also have an idea for a Keeper, but I'm being plagued with second thoughts regarding it. With each successive RP it grows harder for me to think of a Keeper that I see as original enough.
Hmm, I hadn't thought to put the warlocks next to the ice witches. The ice witches would of course be annoyed by the volcanos constantly spewing ash everywhere and would logically want to freeze them into hibernacy, and the thin is that the warlocks would probably want the same as well because they don't exactly enjoy the wasteland that they call home.

So I suppose that the Caldor cultists who appreciate the volcanos would find a way to sow discord. The warlocks also don't seem like the type to ask before they take, so at the start of the RP it would be cool to have them arrange the abduction of an ice witch for them to enslave and experiment on. That would ensure some hostilities.
I really liked the idea of the (sometimes cannibal) ice tribes ruled by demons disguised as witches. In the description I implied that the demons created enchanted winters far longer and hardher than normal so as to strengthen their minions and cull off the unworthy. Although it would normally be weird to have a tundra so close to a jungle, seeing as these are demons with great power over ice and snow, a tundra could exist due to their magic.

For the name of the world I like Crete. Or maybe Cyprus. Lots of little islands have cool names.
The ony qualm that I can think of is the same as the one that I have with Gecko's nation: slaves, the major resource for this new installment, are the motivation to conquer an NPC nation. If I understand correctly, almost all of Monolith's denizen are either Workers, and they die in about a week if they leave the city. Not the ideal situation for your slaves to be in.

But as a concept, I love it.
