"Oh my god, oh my god, this is so. . ," Evie paused to look around the colorful corridors that lined DWMA and all of the students that walked through them, ". . exciting? Nerve-wrecking?" She asked herself walking down the hallway, waving her hands in an animated gesture as she turned to her cousin that was walking a few paces behind her. "Are you listening to me, Natalia?"
"Hmm? Oh, yes. Of course I am. I'm just thinking about whether or not this was a bad move on your part," Natalia's eyes scanned over the students at the school, both new and old. These would not only be their classmates and possible friends, but also their possible rivals. Would poor little Evie be able to stand up to that? Not a chance.
"Well. . thank you for thinking about me," she says, offering a soft smile to her cousin as they headed in the direction of the posters, "But I'll become the best Death Scythe ever!" As Evie said this, the two arrived in what would presumably serve as their classroom until graduation. Evie immediately found herself looking around the room with a certain anxiety and excitement. She was practically greedy with ambition at this point.
"We're going to likely become the same type of Death Scythe, idiot," Natalia stated as she immediately turned to offer a charming smile to a woman who had asked if they were new students, "Yes, we are. I'm Natalia and this is Evie. We're both weapons." And with those words sealing their fates, both received stickers saying WEAPON.
Soon, Evie and Natalia would meet their partner. And soon, the quest for Evie's destiny would finally have begun.
