Well, you see. That bit about the Taurus and the Scorpio being enemies? I can attest to it. Right as you posted that, a bull charged through my window and just gored the shit out of me. At first I was blaming God and the bull, but then I realized that it wasn't God or the bull's fault. It's fated in the stars. 

On an offhand note, I think I may need some tic-tacs, as I'm bleeding quit profusely. Nev's tech (and medical) support, always open.

As I've spent a majority of my life as a "nomadic soul" as I like to call it, I've lived with many different family members in many different places with many different pets. Even though I may not live with some of these pets currently, I still consider some of them to be mine. Here is my pet spam:

Ommy "Eat All Your Nommy-Nommys" is one of the two black cats that were owned by my mother's boyfriend when I first met him. His brother, Ziggy, passed away almost three years ago and is dearly missed. Ommy is still around and is nearly inseparable from my mother's boyfriend - so much so that Ommy is referred to as a "therapy cat" by family friends. A hungry kitty who loves attention and hiding in the sheets, Ommy is an adorable cinnamon roll. It's fair to say that he got bullied by Bella when she was living with us, but at least the two eventually became friends - whenever she wasn't trying to bite his tail, that is!

Luna or "Fat Boy" is an enigma of a cat. He was our first rescue cat and we secondhand adopted him from another owner who couldn't afford to keep him. Being as my mother loves black cats, he was an immediate want. Or perhaps he was adopted out of sympathy due to the low adoption rate for black cats - especially for half-blind ones - in the state of New Jersey. Whatever the reasoning is, I am eternally grateful that we got Luna. Although Luna was adopted by my mother, he became my cat and would never leave my room unless needed. Lazy and hungry, Luna could always be found sleeping at the end of my bed (he was a great toe-warmer!). Once I left for Massachusetts, my mother's boyfriend adopted him and they have gotten along swimmingly since.

Bella is the Umbrella Cockatoo that my mother decided to take home one day without telling anyone. Although I was originally afraid of birds, I consider Bella to be the pet that "changed me" by making me a more gentle and less scared person. Being a rather large bird, Bella was a lot of work and required a lot of attention. It also occurred to me a week after we had gotten her that she suffered from separation anxiety and so I took the task of befriending her. Bella was a very playful and loud bird while living with us - she loved to have conversations and sing while she was with us. She also loved being sung to and a lullaby before bed was almost imperative. Unfortunately, Bella began to suffer from stress and slowly ripped her feathers out one by one as my mother and her boyfriend were both heavy smokers. As a result of Bella lashing out from stress and my announcement that I was moving in with my aunt and uncle, she was sent to live with other bird owners. I'm still in contact with these owners and they send periodic updates on the bird. She seems to be well and happy in her new home!

And I have a bonus for Bella's story! While Bella lived with us, I was able to meet my first online friend, Cory. Cory flew in from Kansas and stayed with us for two weeks. She got along with us fabulously and I wish I was kidding when I said this photo was taken exactly one year, but it actually was!

Rusty is a brown Dachshund that I have known since I was a child. Originally, he belonged to my aunt and uncle (not the ones I live with) and then their oldest daughter. Somewhere along the lines, he was passed to the middle daughter and once said daughter was forced to move out, Rusty came with her. As a result, both my cousin and the dog are living with my mother and her boyfriend in New Jersey. I don't really know the circumstances of Rusty living with them, but I'm certainly familiar with Rusty. I hear that he gets along well with the cats, is a bit of a dummy and loves to get in my mother's way while she is cleaning. My mother apparently enjoys uploading photos of him as well - he looks drowsy in most of them!

Sugar, Miss Bear or Sugar Bear is the youngest of the two rescue dogs owned by my aunt and uncle. Currently, I am living with Sugar and she is a complete sweetheart. Sugar acts more like a cat than a dog and adores attention - but only if it is given to her by women. She loves food and belly rubs. Early this summer, she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that we were able to get removed at the beginning of July. She is currently in the middle of recovering and despite this tragedy, my family has been very optimistic about her recovery. We've even taken the time to take some humorous photos of her in her recovery gear:

Deniro, Mr. D, Mr. Doge or Doofus is the oldest of the two rescue owned by my aunt and uncle. Currently, I am living with Deniro and his nickname of "Doofus" is very fitting. This is especially true as we often catch him running after a toy and slamming head first into the front door. Deniro's actual name is a reference to Robert DeNiro due to the mole that Deniro has on his snout. Doofus - I mean, Deniro - loves attention even more so than Sugar and is practically inseparable from my uncle. He loves to spend his evenings lying on the couch with my uncle and watching him play Xbox One.
