Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude. It would be better to tie into the other characters, I agree. The way he described it just sounded a bit OP (unless a mass escape of servitors are part of the story). Maybe instead, she managed to get out of the city with the bow, backpack, and knife, thinking someone on the Outside would know how to get the collar off. But then was caught and was being given a little "lesson" before being dragged back into the city when the mage comes, takes out the knights there, releases her collar, then disappears. Part of Wendy's plot could then be searching for that mage to thank him and maybe apprentice herself to him.
Laue though is the GM, so I'll go with what he thinks is best.
I was thinking that Wendy would have her collar removed by a professional pick-locker in exchange for healing his daughter at night in the Mage quarters while her handler was asleep then made her way out of the city, getting the bow and the backpack on the way (she already had the knife).
Though I would accept a way that fit in with your plot. You're joking though about the one you put up, aren't you? Any PC knight characters would be incapacitated, it sounds a bit out of the blue, why weren't the knights able to stop him (doesn't their powers allow them to sense when a mage is about to release a spell), and you didn't want people to start out as servitor because it would take too long, but if that event happened then they just would have immediately been released and the story would continue.
Though @Madninja324, maybe you and Against This should collab since Phantom wants the partners to come naturally about and SpiritedDream and I already arranged to be partners. Unless you don't like that arrangement.
" Well that was, interesting." Tierra thought to herself, " That Professor seemed too nervous to be a teacher. And he... or is he a she? The hair's a mostly male cut, but the face is more female. The body's small like a ladies but the nerdy types also have that kind of figure. Ugh, the name even could go either way. But there has to be something..." And on she went, trying to decide what gender was the Professor. Finally she decided there was only one sure way to tell without asking, but that way would probably get either her or the Professor in trouble. So she decided instead to just call the Professor "Professor" and wait for it to be revealed. But it still irked her, even as she enjoyed the view of Beacon's wondrous campus. Back at the orphanage, after she had "snapped out of it", she had given advice once to the others on how they could act like the opposite gender while having fun with costumes and from then on they kept having her guess either a random person's gender or one them heavily costumed. A brief smile touched Tierra's face, " And I never lost a round."
Tierra stayed like that a while, thinking about all the fun times of her past. But, the ship would be landing soon so Tierra went to gather her stuff. As she went weaving through the crowd, she lost focus in what was directly in front of her. So as she went to another opening, she didn't realize a person was there until she full-on smashed into them. " Sorry, are you alright?" Tierra said as she got up and offered assistance for the other girl to do the same. " Hmm, blonde hair, weirdly cut. Blue neon eyes. Sturdy build, would do well in a fight especially if she can use the... weird looking square thing she has, probably folds out to be a polearm judging from the fact her blades are only on one side. She's human, but common curtsies are still to be practiced." But Tierra still had something she needed to do, so as soon as all required assistance, injury checks, and other required curtsies were over with, she wished the girl a good day and continued on to gather her things.
Edit: Now she's a previous Servitor. Edit: Changed backstory to fit in mage character
Like image below, but with green eyes
With a green cloak like the image below
,a light-brown worn dress underneath with a black belt
Name: Gwendolyn Elfreda (called Wendy by her few friends, called Girl and other such names by townspeople)
Gender:Female
Race:Elf
Faction: Servitor (formally), Outsider Mage
Personality: Cold and perceptive, Wendy says few words and prefers to just watch all that goes on around her. She tends to unnerve people that way, she doesn't care. Underneath her exterior, she hides anger for what the Knights did to her and a desire for revenge. Yet, she's not heartless. If there's anyone she considers truly in need of her help like her fellow servitors or any animal like a stray dog, she'll help them. She loves animals and some of her few smiles can be seen when an animal licks her or she pets one. Though, a serious test for her character would be whether she would help a Knight who seriously needed her help. Her mind would say no, however...
Bio: Wendy's parents were some of the few elves to move Altea city, taking the chance to take jobs in a Potion-making guild and hoped that the city would be a good life for their future children. Everything seemed to be complete when Wendy was born, but then at four she showed the signs of being a mage. Her parents tried to keep it hidden and told her to not use her powers. But they knew sooner or later, Wendy would be discovered. So when she was six, they tried escaping from the city. But the Luminous Knights found them out. In the ensuing struggle, Wendy's parents were killed and she was taken to the mage ghetto where the collar was locked around. Wendy hated the Knights, the city, and the life of a Servitor that day and all the days following and vowed to herself that she would escape this life she was forced to live. After ten years, she is finally free, through the help of a mysterious, powerful stranger who freed her then left. Now, taking only a bow, a knife, a backpack, and the now removed slave collar, Wendy seeks to find that stranger, learn more about her powers, and then take her revenge against the Luminous Knights. But first, she has to survive long enough in the wilderness to find that stranger. Stats: STR: 5 AGI: 6 PER: 11 INT: 7 WIS: 6 CHA: 5
Spells: Healing (Minor wounds, injuries, and diseases for now), Light Manipulation (at the moment can only do bright flashes or sudden dims), Companion (can bind one animal to her as a companion but hasn't done so yet, has a passive of letting her easily befriend animals)
Skills/Techniques: Quick learner, Singing (picked it up from singing lessons in the other room while doing some task), Natural ability to sense aura(but can only really do it if taught, if not it happens sporadically)
Combat strategy: She analyzes the situation and uses any tools she has on hand/ anything that's in the environment to the best possible effect; high probability of using light skill to flash (combat strategy will evolve as the character develops, as she learns how to use the Bow it will become her main weapon)
Equipment: A Knife, A Bow, A Backpack, Her slave collar (now off but kept as a way for her never to forget what happened there, kept in backpack)
OK, I was just curious. It was interesting that there had been entered another big cat predator Fanus with a Forest Green color scheme and of an attack and retreat kind of class/fight style.
So would Nocte send adaptability tests to six year olds?
Just out of curiousity, does Tierra remind you guys of Alvern Green? I just ran across the first RWBY AU RP and noticed that. I can honestly say that I had not known about the character before.
