You are hereby invited to the New York Restoration Gala!

This event will take place 1 month following the events of the Fire Troll attack on New York City.
This event is open to any and all players who can present a valid reason that their character would attend.
There will be intrigue at the Gala, as well as an enemy - however this is an Emma Frost centered villain, but I am open to any and all collaborative ideas.

This will mainly be a social event in game to meet and collaborate with other players and form bonds.
And of course, who doesn't just love a party post?

Cay'an is definitely coming to scope out Thor, learn his mental weak spots, and start recruiting him to help her capture Manhunter. The bigger question is who she's going to be the 'escort' of to get in. I could just have the guy never named and will do so if that ends up being what works out best, but it would definitely be fun to have her with someone specific.

Have any suggestions @Lord Wraith, @Stormyx, @Half Pint, or anyone else? I could see her going with Justin Hammer, who thinks he's really scored one over Tony Stark. I could see her going with Tony, who wants to make it seem like he's over Jan. (Tony's even bruised enough mentally that she might decide to just leave his mind alone in order to not accidentally kill him). Or maybe the guy you'd be having Andrew chase, Half Pint? I can't see Bruce Wayne nor either of the Luthors being careless enough as to head in with a non-vetted woman though, and wouldn't really be in places where she could influence their minds to do so. Nor really Moon Knight. And that's as far as has really been established in terms of wealthy guys as far as I'm aware. So if you want to introduce one, Cay'an can help with that.

As for J'onn though, he'll definitely be nearby the party so he can jump in if anything major goes wrong and because he finds himself drawn to be near despite himself. However, he wouldn't be joining since a.) too much publicity and he would rather avoid that, (b.) he's not really the party sort, and (c.) he's had bad memories of similar parities back on Mars. Though with him being alone as the main attraction among the elite.

Though also Stormyx, given that the party is a month away, would you want to hire B'nja'in before or after the party?

Well I could adjust that depending on what @Stormyx thinks.

I just got the impression that it's meant to happen as quickly as possible after attack to truly be a grand thing, and so with the help of comic book time and Emma's millions, I imagined that it could happen that night.

Just an FYI too, I will make every effort to get an Emma post done tomorrow, however after that I'll be offline probably for the rest of the week/weekend.

I've got a hectic weekend (movie/spa/concert/D&D). I've been having some absolute Mega Anxiety this week too, which can probably explain The Horrors™ of my last post. So, a bit of a touch grass/digital detox weekend will do me some good haha.
