I know I didn't throw myself out there but I'm another one of the Co-GM's.

"I mostly grew up here," Io replied. "My family is big on researching and I took it up too. I worked with Professor Oak here in Alola for awhile then studied abroad in the Orange Islands with Professor Ivy. They both have in-depth studies on regional variations of Pokemon." Io smiled brightly, he always exuded confidence when talking about his research along with his mentors, but he also knew that not a lot of people found it as fascinating as him. "I'm not much of a trainer though, I mean, I have Pokemon, I just don't battle as much as others. Never really found my footing in that area..."

Io further led the way towards Ten Carat Hill as he turned to his new partner in crime, hoping he hadn't bored him to death. "What about you, why come all the way to Alola to be a trainer?" The region within itself wasn't anything special as Ioane could tell. The Pokemon League was brand new, having been open only in the past few years, and the trials themselves were probably one of the only exciting things the region had going on compared to others.

As they neared the entrance to the hill Io took notice of the tall shrubbery and bushes, "We should be a little more cautious now, Pokemon are seen aro-"

But before he could finish his sentence what he worried about most was already happening. From the bushes jumped out four Ratatta's ready for action. "Not good!"
So after they meet up with Kukui maybe we can each throw in a new main character where Evian could be the troublemaker he is for.
I'll be posting later tonight! Just wanted to let you know I'm alive!
A villian... hmmm... that would spice things up. And as for Io doing trials I'm not sure if he would be the kind of guy to do them. Maybe I can introduce a new character?

I don't mind doubling at all.

Also your post length is fine again no worries on it. I didn't give you much to work off of so yeah. Also I'll be posting tomorrow sometime hopefully.
Intro post is up! You guys can introduce yourselves however you'd like! If you want to be on the beach near Io you can, if you wanna be in the city you can!

Let's start! :D
Ioane had returned to the Alola Region just a week ago from his study abroad in the Orange Islands alongside Professor Philena Ivy. He was gone for eight years studying the regional variations of Pokemon found in the Orange Islands compared to that of his home region of Alola. The environment and habitat of the Pokemon were similar for the fact that it was in a more tropical location compared to other regions on the main land, but the regional differences of the Pokemon were vast. Io was astounded by just how many variations and differences there were in the Pokemon from the two regions, and it blew his mind when he was able to see even more during his four month stay in Johto.

As he had only been back for a week, the young researcher wasted no time and threw himself into field work, comparing and contrasting all the things he had seen and researched outside of Alola about the regional variations to what he could see in front of him once again. His mentor, Samson Oak, allowed him freedom and access to his laboratory and notes to help his own selfish desires. The two worked closely with Ioane's Orange Island mentor, Professor Ivy, in collaborating and creating a new thesis on the origin of regional variations and such.

On the outskirts of Hau'oli City, near a hidden part of the beach that Io and many other locals deemed Pearlei Cove sat the youthful researcher. Under the shade of the palm trees away from the ocean, on the edge of where the grass met the sand, Io sat, burying his feet into the warming grains and minerals. With a pen in hand he scribbled line after line everything he could about the flying seagull Pokemon that inhabited the shoreline, pecking at the ground.

"Non-violent, easy-going..." Io muttered, "No distinct differences..." He paused for a second and bit the end of his pen, thinking about the time he ran into a krabby on a beach in the Orange Islands, as if it was yesterday. "Now that would be something to see, the differences in the size of the claw on Krabby's from here to there."

As Ioane was talking nonsense to himself under the protection of the palm tree's blades, the wingull's that he had first taken noticed of chirped and scattered away as splashes from the water's edge intensified. There were loud roars coming from the direction of the splashes near the shoreline, but as Io rose from his spot to where he thought the commotion was the splashing went deeper into the waters. "What the..."

The roaring continued as the fury of splashes intensified. Io was intrigued yet knew better than to get into the water to check out what was causing all the buzz. Hopefully he wasn't the only one who knew as he noticed a few more bodies around him also checking out the commotion in the water.
@Rune_Alchemist

Maybe tomorrow I might, haven't really decided. But before Wednesday for sure.
@Crimson Flame Almost sounds like a typical harem anime, lol. Though two of the girls are 'open' so to speak with their interests, and the last is a minor, soooo XP

Isn't that how a harem works? Hehe
"I'm Ioane," he nodded, responding to his new partner. "You can just call me Io though." He gave his new friend a quick up and down, scanning to see what his first impression was going to be of the guy, Evian. Io stood taller by an inch or two. His spikey jet black hair made him seem a bit younger but Io could tell they were near if not the same age.

Io slipped his left hand into his pocket and stuck out his right for a handshake. "Hopefully we can become friends?" The words that came out were said in a question but in his mind it was supposed to be a statement. That was one thing that always flustered Ioane when it came to conversations, the words never came out right. "I'm guessing Professor Kukui wasn't in, so we can meet with him first. I'm sure he would want to meet you."

The Alolan native paused for a moment to think of where the professor would be before going on. "He's probably on Ten Carat Hill," Io said, pointing to the west. "Just a ten or fifteen minute walk."
