Reasons for leaving home

Sure living in an old underground rail station wasn't perfect, it was no vault after all, but it was a lot more than some others had. Having a clan, a community, a home.
He should have never brought that old damaged junk bot back, he was stupid to think he could reprogram it. But how was he to know what the raiders had done to it...
Either way, there were those in his clan that couldn't even look at him any more, and others that could barely restrain from attacking him on sight.

After one little lapse of judgment and after ignoring one simple order, he was no longer welcomed at his home.

But wow... who would of thought a reprogrammed mr handy could reap so much carnage.

Gear:
Makeshift motley heavy armor.
Tool belt and tools.
Welding goggles.
Faulty shock baton.

After what seemed like forever...
Seeing that all was settled and hearing the newcomer was ok, the young wide-eyed barmaid stood up and dusted herself down.
"You are in a tavern that has no name." She reply flatly as she look about.
"I am glad you're ok." She added, collecting an old broom from nearby and then casually making her way over to the man, standing it before him.
"If your limbs are all working, you can clean up this mess."
Her words were firm and certain, her lips presenting a soft smile, and a mild curiosity shone in her eyes.

So I'm so glad character sheets are optional cause I'm just kind of making this guy up as I go. The only thing I really know about him right now is that's he's a phoenix- thing. I don't really even have a name for him at the moment. I'm sure it'll come to me as I rp with him more. I might get some kind of drawing up for him soon too, maybe. Should be fun though!

Yea, sometimes people have someone in particular they want to bring in other times it's fun to start really minimally and build them along the way.

Years of working in the nameless tavern had instilled certain reflexes within young barmaid. Diving behind the bar at the first hint of catastrophic damage or explosions was one of them. So as soon as glass and flames started showering into the tavern, she found herself on the floor without thought.

Slowly as the sounds of commotion settled, she raised her head to peer over the counter. Wide eyes took in the sudden change of scenery and fell upon the still figure.

Without moving the called out. "Hey, you. Are you ok?"
She made no move to check on the newcomer, seeming quite content to stay sheltered behind the bar. Her mannerism and tone a vast contrast to the fine clothing she wore, telling of a lower class upbringing.

A wet cloth ran along the bartop, back and forth, making very little difference to the already clean surface. A young woman was cleaning the counter, again, since there was very little else to do at the moment.
It was an easy day for the barmaid, in fact it had been a long series of 'easy' days. The tavern had been quiet for quite some time and she was finding it a little on the boring side. She let out a soft sigh and flick aside some loose strands of hair as she look up with her big brown eyes and run them across the few patrons currently in the tavern.
