Current Smarty Jones... Just... Consider removing the 'Smarty' part of your name if you're going to try and kick up a side-argument here, there's no reason for that. Otherwise, let's just move on.

People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.

Mary takes off, and begins to fly to the Oni building. As they fly, some sort of craft fires at the pelican. "Woah!" Mary quickly maneuvers right, and the shot flies past. "Hot damn. What the fuck was that!?" Another craft comes, and she begins to fire the main gun of the pelican at it. "This is Delta-one-four, I have unknown contacts. They're firing some sort of blue weaponry. Looks like plasma." The craft explodes and falls under the pelican. Sarah groans, feeling a little sick.
Sarah scowls lightly at the Spartan. She had never like them that much. They took all the glory from the ODSTs.
Mary peered over her shoulder and out the door of the cockpit, then back at her console. "This is Delta-one-four, awaiting mission tasking." She clicked on and off her COM, then she peered back through the door. "Is everyone on board?" She calls out. She wondered why there was no co-pilot or crew chief on board the pelican.
Sarah nodded, and continued to let the medics do their job. Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, and the corner of the command tent blew up. An alarm was set off, and the main intercom of the base started to blare orders. "Pilots; Delta-one-four, Echo-four-niner, Charlie-two-one, prepare for top-priority mission tasking. Remaining ODSTs, get to pelican four-three. Other Pelican pilots, scramble." The person on the intercom continued to give orders. Mary quickly got up and ran over to pelican four-three, as that would be the pelican she would be piloting. She quickly got into the pilot seat.
Sarah got up as soon as the medics were done, slipping on her helmet and beginning to walk fast-pace to the pelican that she was supposed to be boarding, nodding to James as she passed.
Opal nods. "Yes sir. Of course I will, sir." She says, smiling, her tail wagging happily. "How many people are you looking to be with us on this mission?" She asks, cocking her head. She wasn't sure if a lot of people would be a good idea, as it would be hard to track a lot of people. She smiled a bit more as she recalled Shadow calling her a friend. She was quite happy at that.
Mary was called into the command tent, and she thought that the debrief was already over for her. She walks back in, and is told to take a seat near the Spartans. Her eyes widen a little, but she follows the orders, even though she is a bit nervous to be this close to a Spartan, let alone a group of them.

Sarah was lying on a bed in the medical tent, getting her wounds attended to. The process would be finished in about ten minutes. She was James run in, and waved at him lightly.
Sarah nods in reply. "I need to go to the medical building, get myself patched up properly." She tugs lightly at the bandage around her waist. "I-I guess I'll catch you in a bit, sir." She begins to walk off in the direction of the medical building.

Meanwhile, in the main building, Mary was giving her report to the higher-ups. In that report, she included the strange slipspace signature she had picked up on the way back to the base. As Mary left the room, the higher-ups began to talk among themselves, trying to figure out what the signature was.
Yay.
Sarah nods, standing, walking out of the pelican with her helmet off. Mary exits the pelican after checking the pelican is fully shut down, and stretches out. "Ah, fresh air." She glances at Sarah, but says nothing to her, as she knows what ODSTs are like. Instead, she looks around for a moment. "I need to make my report. I guess I'll see you guys around." She winks at James before walking off. Sarah sighs, and begins to slowly make herself stop crying. "I hate this." Jorge remains on the pelican, handcuffed.
Mary looks at her computer, and cocks her head, tapping the pilot on the shoulder. "Hey, Murray, have you heard of any more craft meant to be approaching this system?" Murray, the pilot, shakes his head. "Nope. Might be some idiot who disobeyed the order not to come here." Mary nods. "Probably. I think that's the base two kilometers ahead. Activating flaps." She activates the flaps, and the craft begins to decelerate and descend.
Sarah continues to cry over the dead squadmates.
Sarah sighs, and takes off her helmet. Tears ran down her cheeks. "Our squadmates are dead. Almost all of them are dead." She whispers to herself. "Dead. Not even MIA. Dead. All because of the Innie scum." She glares at the Innie, who is rubbing his cheek. More tears spill down her face.
