"I'm not a baby! I'm fourteen! Don't call me a baby!" Kat cries, letting go of Laira and walking away, tears dripping onto the ground. She shakes as she walks away.

"I-I honestly doubt it." Kat replies. "I think they're dead." She whispers, shaking a little, hugging herself against Laira. "T-There's no other thing that could have happened to them." She begins to cry, shaking horribly.

"C-Carly." Kat replies. "B-But, I p-prefer Kat." The girl gently takes Laira's hand, walking with her. She kept on looking around, wanting to see her parents, but not seeing them. "M-My parents aren't... You know..." Kat whispers. "Dead like those in the p-plane, are they...?" Kat asks. She feels so young, to babylike, but she cannot help it. She wanted to see her parents. She wanted to be in her mother and father's arms. She wanted to be with them. She wanted them to be alive. Kat began to breathe deeply in and out, trying to hold back the tears that tried to fight their way through. Come on, Kat. You're fourteen. you can handle things like this. She thought to herself.

Kat is surprised by the hug, but accepts it, as she begins to feel a very bad feeling. Looking at bodies, as well as the blood, she begins to shake. "Y-Yes. P-Please. I would like t-to." Kat replies to Laira. She feared for the worst. She feared that her parents were... were...

She couldn't even think about it. If they were what she thought they were, Kat would have to take over her dad's company, but she knew that she was far too young to do so. That, and she would probably have to move in with her uncle. Kat hated her uncle. He would always tell her to be quiet. She was too rich to be quiet and not say anything about it.

However, right now, the sadness and fear that was coursing through her was preventing her from saying anything about how much money she had. The beautiful red silk dress she wore fluttered very gently as a tiny gust of wind pushed past her. This also made her hair flutter gently, and made her shiver a bit more, but it quickly subsided.

Species: Part-fox, part-human
Appearance: James is an average height, with short black hair. His human ears are small, but atop his head are two orange fox ears. His nose is small, as is his lips and mouth. James has a thin build, and at his extreme-lower back he has an orange fox tail.

James' costume is a tight-fitting one with a hole where his tail would fit through. Both sides of his costume are orange, but the main stripe going down it's front and back is black. The hands and feet of the costume are completely orange, with the top of the fingers being black.

James' casual clothes usually consist of a blue hoodie (to cover his fox-ears with) and blue jeans.

Power(s): James is incredibly good at hunting for something, and has very, very good aim, let it be with a weapon or throwing something.
Abilities(Learned): James is amazing with a bow, and has great agility. He is also good with words. Occasionally.

History: James was born in a test tube, his DNA being bonded with that of a fox's. From very young age, he was taught and studied in a lab without any friends or any parents. Eventually, as he grew up, he began to realize where he was and what was happening to him. He asked to be let out of the lab, but was declined. He asked every day, and was continually declined, until the age of fourteen, where he got out of his lab and began to smash things in another lab, crying to himself that he wanted out of this place. After a few more events of this happening, the decision for James to be let free was made. James was put in a town, and he got himself a job, as well as a tiny shed building to live in. It wasn't much, but it was enough to help him survive. He began to take archery lessons, and excelled at it, soon turning to hunting for food rather than buying it, leaving him with more spending money.

One day, when James was seventeen, he was looking at the internet in a library and saw an ad for a 'superhero team'. He decided that he would join it, as it would give him a chance to do something other than paper rounds.

Personality: James gets upset quite easily, though not as easily. He is friendly and kind, but also quite shy. James has a fear of spiders and heights. James likes music, and likes having fun. He usually feels like he is a screw-up. James is also very shy, and often quite curious.
Role: The Flirter
Weaknesses: James is quite emotional, and can easily be convinced to do something, even if it means the danger of himself or someone else. He would probably even be able to be convinced to betray his own team and friends. His mind can easily be swayed, or be confused at situations.
Family/Friends: James has no family, as he was born in a test tube.
Crush/Relationship: James currently has a crush on Alyssa Matthews, but refuses to admit it as he is too shy to do so.

Kat's eyes slowly blinked and opened up, and she immediately coughed up water. "W-Wha... What happened!? Where am I?" She looked around, looking for her parents. "Mum!? Dad!?" She calls out, looking around, ignoring the person who had shooken her awake. She begins to stand up, shaking a little, looking around. She continued to call for her parents.

Academy for the Odd and Supernatural

Luna walked into the lunch room, playing her flute. She grabs herself a bowl of fruit, and a can of fizzy fruit juice, then walks to a table, sitting down, laying her flute next to her tray. She then digs into the fruit, smiling cheerfully. When she was done, she planned to settle someplace dark and quiet and play her flute to herself.
