Current Smarty Jones... Just... Consider removing the 'Smarty' part of your name if you're going to try and kick up a side-argument here, there's no reason for that. Otherwise, let's just move on.

People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.

"But, I don't know where Jack is." Helen says, watching as Axle walks off. She sighs, and makes her way back down and to the computer, hesitantly trying to fix it, rewiring it and stopping it from sparking.

Jack was busy laying where Axle had originally been, lazing about. He was staring up into the sky, which seemed strangely blue to him.

Angel finds a rocket launcher quickly, and walks to the front of the warthog. She places it in-between the tusks of it, and grins. "This will work." She told herself.
As Geoff descended rapidly, he changed his position so he would not fall so fast, using his head to change his weight so he would steer himself to where he believed would be an area he would land softly. Well, as softly as he could. And that was in the treetops, where the branches would slow his descent. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to alter his trajectory in time, and began rapidly descending to a clear spot of grass.

Geoff closed his eyes before the impact, and when he felt it, he struggled to open his eyes. He felt a second impact on top of him, and a burst of pain. His vision was filled with black, but he could see spots of light. The spots of light slowly resolved into numbers and images, parts of his HUD. Other parts was light shining into his viewplate. At first, he thought he had somehow bounced into a cave. Then, he realized something was on him, and lifted whatever it was and moved it to his side. Whatever it was, it weighed a lot, and as soon as he moved it he could see the sky above him.

For a few moments, Geoff was staring up at the sky, a grin on his face. He had survived a fall from a very high altitude, and lived to tell the tale. He suddenly realized he was in the middle of a warzone, and got up, drawing his sidearm and sweeping the area around him. He then looked down, and his eyes widened, the grin from his face instantly fading to a sad frown. Right at his feet, the 'object' he had shoved off of him, was one of his old friends, Angel. "Shit, shit, shit!" He drops his sidearm and checks for a pulse. Nothing. Yet, Geoff refused to believe she was dead. "Angel? Angel? Come on, you can get up. Come on, you're not dead." He says, shaking the woman. He picks up his sidearm, puts it in it's holster, and lifts Angel up, draping her over his shoulder. He then pulls out his sidearm again, and begins to walk carrying his burden. On the COM, he can hear what appears to be the squad leader, and tries to get through. "Squad lead? It's Geoff. Angel is down. Repeat, down." Geoff says through his mic, however it had been damaged, only every second word getting through and broadcasting through several channels at once.

Descending through the clouds, several lifepods fell, many carelessly spiraling off and burning up. As soon as the pods touched down, Aria began to develop protocols that make her survive such a situation. Firstly, she began eavesdropping on many COM channels. She quickly discovers the COM discussions between Spartans, and realizes that they had survived and could possibly get her out of the life pods. However, through the combined power of many sensors on the lifepods, she was beginning to pick up signs that the Covenant were going to finish off the UNSC and take the ring, so she had to ensure that she would be able to tell the Spartans she was alive and not pinpoint her position at the same time. She downloaded herself into a chip on one of the lifepods, and began to broadcast an SOS. However, as she knew that there were no UNSC ships left alive in the area, it wasn't a proper SOS.
Three short beeps, three long ones, and then three short ones.
Aria began to process this, and then continually broadcast this. She bounced the signal between all of the lifepods and made the signal so strong it bounced off of the surface of the ring. She hoped that she wouldn't be pinpointed, though the Spartans would know that the lifepods held her. After a quick analysis, she realized that she was going to need to add something. She added in a small beep, a long one, and then two short ones.
SOSAI.
Aria hoped that she would get rescued before the Covenant got to her. She held a lot of information that could not fall into enemy hands, and she could help the Spartans get off of the ring. How, she did not know, but she would try.
"Oh, it will work, Mason. It will." Angel grins beneath her helmet. "So, get to it. Remove that turret while I find a rocket launcher." Angel doesn't wait for a reply, just spins on her heel and walks away from Mason.

"But, it's all sparky and stuff. It might electrocute me or something." Helen replies, shyly stepping back so Axle couldn't pat her. "Well, it probably can't because of our armour, but, you know, it could harm me somehow."
"The computer in the base is sparking electricity, and isn't working." Helen replies to Axle, turning to face him. "Maybe the Reds sabotaged it or something without us seeing. I haven't seen them in a while." Helen cocks her head slightly as she speaks.

"Mason, they keep on tricking us, making us think that they are going to attack. We need to hit them, and I know just how. If we remove the turret from the back of the warthog, and drive it up to them, they won't expect us to shoot at them. We can hide a rocket launcher on the front tusks of the warthog. They'll be expecting us to hide something on the back of the 'hog, however, if it is on the front they probably won't see it." Angel says. It was a ridiculously stupid plan.
Helen was strolling around Blue base, trying to find Axle. She was going to tell him that the one computer in the base was sparking electricity. "Boss? Boss? Axle?" She calls out, walking faster. She walks out of the base, and looks around the barren terrain. Walking to the top of the base, she looks around, spotting the Red base at the distance. She sighs, and continues to call out for Axle repeatedly.

"Mason! Mason! Get over here right now! I think the Blues are going to attack!" Angel shouts out. This had been the nineteenth time in the past two days she had shouted that out. She kept on expecting an attack. "We need to form a defensive plan!" She shouted that every time she expected an attack. "Mason Greene! Get over here now!" She shouts.
Okay, I'm going to work on the first IC post. Feel free to add characters along the way.
I think the highway is a good idea for the beginning.
When you make a character for Red Team, I'll type up the first post. IF you want, you don't need to write the Bio and Personality yet.
Yup, hahaha.
