Current Smarty Jones... Just... Consider removing the 'Smarty' part of your name if you're going to try and kick up a side-argument here, there's no reason for that. Otherwise, let's just move on.

People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.

"Eight hundred for each," was Rose' new price. Rose definitely did not want the heads of her people cast at her, or she herself may get thrown off of the future throne. "One thousand Pegasus." She grits her teeth. She taps her hands on her desk and then stretches, her dress tightening around her as she leans back, and then sets her hands back on her lap.
"Five thousand," Rose replies. "However, you would only be entitled to," She pauses and thinks. "Six hundred Pegasus," She smiles. Rose knew that had more than five thousand, however the Pegasus were to be reserved for royals and high ranking officials. "Costing one thousand and six hundred gold. Each." Rose was not going to sell perfect Pegasus to a currently opposing kingdom for a small price. She crosses her arms, a sweet smile on her face.
Rose chews on the inside of her lip gently as she listens to what the lady had to say. An agreement with no choice? Rose blinks, and then lets out a long breath through her nose. "Pegasus are some of our most important creatures. We can't just let some go fly off the Legel, as there are not many of them." Rose's hand raises to scratch one of her ears as she thinks about the situation. Sakuya could either lend Legel the Pegasus, or they could not, and probably send a counterattack to reclaim the garrison they had lost. Worst case scenario, Sakuya would have to send a messenger to the northern lands of their kingdom, and call in for help from the troops that reside there. Rose did not want to do that, so she looks Aden in the eyes and asks, "How much gold would you be willing to give per single Pegasus?"
The guard huffs, however he moves away. Moments later, the triple-layer of gates open, and a different guard approaches Aden, Mira and the other men. "Please, follow me." He says, before he begins to walk. "The princess has been very upset lately, so I caution you to not anger or upset her any more." The guard says as he walks through the heavily populated city. Soon, they approach the main building, and begin to walk to Rose' room. "The princess wants this to be discussed in her office rather than in an official room. Especially considering you attacked Sakuya land yesterday." He knocks, before opening the room. "The men stay outside."
Rose was sat at her desk, looking stressed. Her eyes, still pretty as always, had tiny bags beneath them, however her hair was combed back and straight, and she was wearing what looked to be semi-formal attire.
Rose retreated with her forces, her eyes now sad. Her mother would either kill her or give her a talk that would make her cry, and Rose suspected it would be the latter. She was one to hate upsetting her mother. Everyone else looked happy as they retreated. Even though they had lost, they had wiped out a considerable amount of enemy troops, including catapults. Several groups of the force split off into differing directions, Rose's own group heading back to the capital. Fortunately, they were all on horseback, meaning they could gallop there faster than with those on foot.
Rose pauses, and she turns around. The lives of innocents was in her hands, and she had an important choice to make. "Take your closest advisers, and come to Yasanctuar tomorrow morning. We will discuss this at the capital." She crosses her arms. "Or, you may ride with me there right now, and discuss it in private there. You may get your Pegasus sooner." Rose smiles cutely at Aden, blinking. "Though you will have the disadvantage of less advice."
"I believe that is your men dying, not mine." Rose says, lifting her head. She blinks as she hears another horn in the distance, and then the sound of many men running. She knew she was wrong. "We shall not be supplying you Pegasus. Pegasus are reserved to us and only us." She turns around. "So, if you do not mind, I'll be leaving with the rest of my men." She bit inside of her lip gently as she approached her horse, wondering if he dared to strike her from behind, or even attempt to hold her prisoner.
"No!" Rose says, looking him in the eyes. "I will not give up my future subjects to you." Her tail swishes behind her as her hand grips the dagger she had, ready to pull it in an instant. "Why do you even attack us? We are peaceful, and you come with your swords raised." Rose takes a step toward Aden, standing closer to him as she speaks once more. "Chaoria has been looking to improve long-term trading relationships with Sakuya. We've been declining, as relations are good enough, but maybe we can accept the deals if they can help us," She smirks. "I'm sure they will be happy to help us if we offer even better deals than they offered us. And that means goodbye Legel."
Rose growls quietly. She recognized the prince, and wondered what his game was. She may as well play along with it. If he attacks, she could just howl and men would come charging, no mercy whatsoever, and he had to know that. "I will only agree when I hear the agreement, and even then, I may not agree." She says, climbing off of her horse. The worst thing to happen would be for the horse to get knocked over and have her stuck beneath it's weight, so she simply stood to the side of it, looking up to the prince, her eyes a beautiful red colour. She looked too innocent.
Rose grits her teeth. She indeed had to get to safety, however first she had a problem. As the pole is swung at her, she steps forward, closer to the man. She holds her hand out, grabbing the wood of the polearm, and yanking the man toward her. "Goodbye," She whispers, before she grabs the man's dagger, unsheathing it and giving the man's head a new colour of red. She sees a horse run around wildly without an owner, and try to escape from the battle, but she caught onto the reins and swung herself up. "Yah!" She shouts, pulling tightly on the reins as the horse shoots away from Legel troops, and at the same time, moves away from the Sakuya troops.
