The Lands of Lemea

Race: Zenohunts

Name: Zenohunts
Homeland: Ainyas
Country(s): Small tribes of Zenohunts have migrated into to the some of the hills of Lemea, but do not control actual countries.
Common Physical Features: Zenohunts are usually very thin, and have animal ears and an animal tail.
Common Physiological Features: Zenohunts have a lot of the same biological features as humans, except from the tail and the extra pair of ears. Zenohunts' ears and tail and judged by whatever animal they are based on, and biological features may adapt so that the tail may feel things, and the ears may have the ability to hear things. The ears may be able to hear things better, depending on what animal they are based on. Zenohunts are known to also share the personalities of the animals they are based on. This sometimes does not apply.
Common Magical Features: Zenohunts are masters of nature and light magic, being able to summon lights and blind things, or summon vines to hold people stationary. This is due to their normally peaceful motives, and that they are partially affiliated with nature due to their animal features. If there were 100 Zenohunts, about 15-20 of these would probably be mages.
Other: Zenohunts are a relatively secret race. They live in underground houses in small tribes, where they are not seen. The only ways into these houses are by hidden doors, making the entire house itself completely concealed. Zenohunts tend to cover their animal features when outside of their homes, and claim themselves to be normal humans. They also speak in their own language, known as 'Zenospeak' by the Zenohunts.
I should also say there are not a lot of Zenohunts in existence. The tiny tribes they live in are sparsely populated, due to the fact that new Zenohunts can not move into towns because they can't find them.

James Feryana

Appearance: James is a medium sized boy, who has short, black hair that reaches down to his ears. He has ocean blue eyes, and small lips. His ears are small, as is his nose. He has grey wolf ears on his head that usually point straight up on his head. Leading down to his body, he has a small-medium sized neck, and a thin build. His arms are quite thin, and so is his legs. On his extreme lower back, he has a grey wolf tail that protrudes from him. Clothing wise, he would wear a large cloak that covers his entire body that just reaches the top of his feet. This cloak also has a hood to cover James' wolf ears, which he would fold down to prevent the two points from appearing. He would also wear a mask to cover his face. He doesn't want anybody to know how young he actually looked, and was. Inside of his cloak, James would usually be wearing casual, everyday clothes.
Bio: James was born to a pair of parents who were, just like James, wolf Zenohunts. The parents would go out and get food for James, because they wanted their young boy to have a happy life, and not know that their life would end in a few years. They would keep James entertained and teach him how to hunt and do other things, such as cook. As years passed on, James started to notice his parents getting weaker and weaker, quite slowly and quite unnoticeable.

One day, when James was thirteen, he asked his parents if they were alright, since they were looking really, really weak. The parents said that they were alright, perfectly fine, and quite healthy. James did not believe them, and continually asked every day what was wrong with them. After two weeks, James' parents knew that they had to tell James what was wrong with them. They sat him down, and had a long talk with him about a disease that had been developing in their bodies for who knows how long. They said that they were going to die really soon, but did not know when. James was, of course, quite upset at this, and sat crying in his room for days.

Finally, when James was fourteen, his parents passed away. The rest of the Zenohunts in the tribe had a funeral for them, and most of them were willing to take James in as their own son, but James always declined. He didn't want to live in this stinking tribe any more. He didn't want to hide from everything underground. He wanted to explore, adventure, and live his life to it's fullest. So, that's what James did. He packed up his belongings, and put them in a backpack. He put on a cloak, covered up his tail and ears, and slipped a mask over his face. He then went to the tribe's elder, told the old man that he was leaving, and walked away. The young Zenohunt cried many times, but did not turn back.

Personality: James is a very, very shy boy. He doesn't like to get into crowds, not even those of friends that he knew. He would never be the one to start conversations, and would always be the one to keep quiet in them. The poor boy has been through a lot, and doesn't like to reveal his past. However, if you manage to befriend James, he can turn out to be a really nice boy. He would be kind, and often crack a joke at a time he finds good for one. Even to his best friends, he would never admit that he was a Zenohunt, nor admit how old he really is. Well, if someone were to pull his cloak off, he probably would be found out.

Combat Skills: James is a beginner in nature and light magic. He can blind people with his light magic and make lights with it. With nature magic, he can trap people by summoning vines from the ground. Eventually, he hopes to learn more magic.
Adventuring & Survival Skills: James knows a lot about nature, due to being a Zenohunt. He can smell things from a certain radius around him, and his wolf ears help to hear things. Unfortunately, that makes him prone to walking into a trap. Some bandit could yell 'help' and James would be running toward him, thinking that someone really did need help.

Reason for traveling: James wants adventure. He wants to experience new thrills of life and explore new places.

Red vs Blue: Project Freelancer

Iowa had followed the other freelancers, though he was being strangely quiet. He was thinking. Thinking about the tests. How will I do? he thinks, I'll do fine, I hope. After all, I've come this far. That thought made him grin. James had one thing that would help him. The will to go on.
He followed really close to the others, still not saying a word. All he needed to do was think, think about what he would do in certain situations, and think about how to crack that damn holographic lock that FILSS had challenged him with a day or two ago. It was like his parents, always presenting him with new challenges.
I wonder how my parents are doing. I wonder if they are still well, living happily together. A single tear came down James' eye, but he quickly wiped it away.

Zariana giggled even more as she got snuggled against, and even more when she was called cheeky. "I knew you liked him. You showed a few signs of it." The pup licked her mother's cheek playfully. "You two would be the cutest couple ever!" During the last three words, Zariana had went to a completely high voice in cuteness and adorableness. She really thought that Nychta and Cassius would be a really cute couple.

Zariana, who had curled up next to Nychta, looked up at her mother's face. There was a very hard choice to make, but Zariana already knew the answer. There was only the problem of figuring out how to say it to Nychta...
"I think you and Cassius would be cute together." The pup giggled, shuffling herself tight against Nychta, a great big smile on her face. "You two seem like you're made for each other. I was surprised that you two weren't already together when I first met you." Zariana gave her mother a wink.

Zariana stays on Cassius' head, looking at Nychta. "No problem, mummy." The pup replies to her mother, smiling happily at the wolf. There was something that looked, off, about Zariana's mother. "Mummy? Is there something wrong?" The older wolf looked a bit funny, but Zariana couldn't place her finger, well, her paw on what was wrong with Nychta. She looked a bit, weak, or something like that.
