Fateful Convergence

Nigel gently rubs Arlia's back and holds her close. Instead of answering right away, he leans in and brings her into a gentle kiss. Moments later, he breaks away and whispers, "He paid for what he did to you, my love. I made sure of it. Adriano is no more, so he can no longer hurt you like that again. I only wish I could've made him suffer more, but all that matters is that I'll never let you get hurt again, even if I have to give my life to keep you safe."

Vincent: *Opens his mouth to speak as he turns around, only for his eyes to widen and his jaw hang open* Uh....

Isaac: ...Why do I get the feeling I know you?

Sarah nods and disappears into the kitchen as Nigel sits down next to Arlia and wraps his arm around her, pulling her close as he says, "Maybe you're just eager to show others affection. I mean, think about it: You were never really given the opportunity to do so, so you're trying to make up for it by being more energetic about it, which isn't a bad thing at all." Smiling, Nigel looks down at his lover and gently curls his fingers around her chin, lifting her head to look into her eyes as he says, "Honestly, that's one thing I love about you. You truly are a kind woman."

Sean: ...I'm both eager and concerned as to what you have in mind

Vincent: I'm flat-out pissed! Why does everyone but me get boob pillows?!

"It's...fine...really!" Sarah says as Arlia shakes her. Nigel walks over and gently places a hand on Arlia's shoulder, looking into her green eyes as he says, "It's fine, love. See? Sarah's alright and she isn't angry, are you?" Sarah chuckles lightly and says, "No, I'm not. I was just a little surprised, since I've never been hugged that...enthusiastically, before. No harm done, I assure you." Nigel smiles and says, "See? Now, let's finish our tea." Sarah gently extracts herself from Arlia's grip and says, "Here, let me go get something to eat while we drink our tea. What would you like, Arlia?"

Sean: Uh...I'm not sure what to say to that O///O

Vincent: I'd say, "Hell, yeah! That's the best kind of pillow!"

Sean: *Ignoring Vincent and asks you* How do you propose this happens?

Sarah expected Arlia to return the hug, just not with as much fervor as she used, causing her vision to go black as Arlia buries her face in her chest. Nigel, unable to help but blush, seeing the embrace Arlia had his sister in, clears his throat and says, "Uh, Arlia, love...I think you're suffocating Sarah..." As if in response, Sarah reaches up and taps Arlia's shoulder, as if saying that what Nigel had pointed out was true.
