Sean stops and places his hands on Eryn's shoulders, gently turning her around so he could look into her eyes. Smiling, he says, "Let's get something straight: You didn't do anything, Eryn. Those guys were just assholes who needed to be shown a thing or two, which you did an exceptional job of doing. Second, I don't mind getting mixed up in anything. I protect my friends, no matter what, and that goes for you, too." Deep inside, he knows that his desire to protect the timid woman in front of him ran deeper than the fledgling friendship they had begun. The fierceness behind said desire told him that there was more going on in his heart than even he wasn't aware of.

Sean smiles at Eryn and, unable to help himself, wraps his arm around her shoulders, saying, "You handled yourself pretty well, you know. I didn't think that a quiet girl like you would be able to step up like that." Finally realizing that he had his arm around her shoulders, he blushes and lets her go, albeit rather hesitantly. After a few moments, he says, "Do you still feel like hanging out? I wouldn't blame you if that little altercation took it out of you."

Sean took a step forward, ready to flatten the man's nose, but stopped as Eryn walked up to him. Sean then watched in admiration as Eryn essentially ruined any chances the man had at fatherhood. Stepping up to the man she had just emasculated, Sean then crouches and peers into his eyes. As the man looks, Sean shows him, just with his eyes, a brief glimpse of what he could do to him. The man, now scared witless by the convention goer in front of him, as well as the woman behind him, loses the last bit of dignity he had as the sharp scent of urine fills the air. Sean straightens up and turns around, placing a hand on Eryn's shoulder, and quietly says, "Come on. Let's go find something else to do."

Sean was on his way to the booth when he heard Eryn talking to someone. Turning around, he finds a group of young men crowding around her, like sharks attacking a helpless animal. Seeing where they were focusing, he feels himself get angry as he walks over to them. Placing a hand on Eryn's shoulder, he gazes into one of the men's eyes, the one who started speaking to Eryn and seemed to be the leader. "She's with me," he says, to which the man laughs. "Really?" he asks. "Well, I guess we'll just have to do something about that, then." Getting the message, one of the man starts moving around Sean toward his back. Faster than the men could react, Sean spins around and grabs the man by the collar of his shirt as he continues the spin. He then effortlessly lifts the man off of his feet, safely over Eryn, and into a couple of his friends. "If you don't wanna see what I'm really capable of," he warns, "I'd back off if I were you."
