Well, either way the argument is: Mindless IMing Vs RP Focus. Let's keep this shit one hundred. It don't matter if the damn OOC on the site don't get posts.

What matters is these:

1. People actually getting their characters up.

2. Posts consistently being put up in the IC.

Them two things right there are what makes the RP live on and reach legendary status. I don't see too much of an issue with folks chatting it up, though, there is remembering why the discord would be made in the first place: This RP.

What really kills RPs is this trend to procrastinate the fuck outta the posts in the thread. We all did it at least a couple times, don't lie.

So, recapping in my humble opinion - insta communication is cool, so long as everybody keeps focused. Chat is a fun side thing, but the RP should be the main thing in a roleplay related discord server tho.

Dakota City is really just a name opposed to actually being in either of those states. It's actually kind of vague as to where it is geographically so, I'd take creative liberties with it.

I'd base it maybe in the carolinas or something like that for the sake of closeness to the other main cities. Depending on whether you have Gotham in New Jersey or not, I might put it there.

With the chemical problem there in connection with the monsters, I imagine it being like the city in Prototype 2.
