Personality: Scarlet is very sarcastic, and very pragmatic. She always sees the worst in people and sees them as vile monsters. This is perhaps of course to her experience with people after she awakened. Although she views most as evil, she herself is lawful and will not inherently attack without evidence the people she meets is slime. This is due to morals and a sense of honor she developed whilst young. She does hates being lied to and can normally tell when someone is.
Bio:
Born in a small town in North Carolina, Scarlet grew up fairly normal, except for the fact that she didn't have many real friends. She made quite a few people mad because she was very opposed to wrong doing. This earned her the nickname of Copperhead. Those that were her friends were normally outcasts that were normally treated like dirt by others. After college, she moved to the city to become a police officer. She succeeded in this endeavor, one step closer to her goal, but the during work on her 26th birthday, she changed. The entire station, who were throwing her a party, watched as her features changed. She grew slightly taller, her skin turned to scales tough and sharp, her nails claws, her pinkie fingers and toes disappeared, her teeth shrunk and her canines turned to fangs, a small tail sprouted and she got thinner. Her eyes turned from ocean blue human to icy serpentine. This tore her clothes and frightened her after the pained dulled away. The entire station stared in fear and awe. One, a cop who later was arrested for being dirty, tried to handcuff her, thinking he'll get promoted, but she struck him and he went flying. Horrified by this, she broke out of the window and slid into the sewer after going into the middle of the street and prying of the manhole cover. After exiting the sewers near the lake right next to the city, she headed to her home town. There, her friends and family kept her safe and hidden in a cabin in the woods, high in the Appalachian mountains. But every so often, she would try to help solve the crimes happening in town, from the shadows. Criminals tied up and raving about a monster, or a murder turning up dead near a gas station or hanging from a tree, with bite marks to large to be a normal snake and claws marks so deep you could see bone. Eventually, a hunter saw her in the mountains while she was taking a walk. He ran before she could try to calm him, and he called the proper authorities. She quickly packed up and said by to her friends and family, and hasn't seen them since.
Power: She has all the senses of a snake, the speed of a snake, the flexibility of a snake and the strength of a snake. She even has a very strong venom, but she prefers to not use that because it makes her a little more savage. Reptiles also seem to be non-aggressive towards her and will help her if she asks them to, particularly various snakes.
Likes: Guns, justice, good people, donuts, sweet tea, whiskey, and reptiles.
Dislikes: Illegally owned property, bad people, breaking the law, birds, the anti-super law, united nations, sport hunters, and going savage.
Family: Her mother, father, and younger brother are all alive and well, her grandpa is still alive, and she has a host of cousins and aunts and uncles.
Friends: All of her friends are the more successful members of her town's community.
Sentimental Attachment: A watch her grandpa gave her.
