Heh. I actually lost the original image while I was editing the sheet. So I used a similar one.
Victoria elegantly walked into the living room of Zac and Kelly’s apartment. Since Kelly, in her rage, forgot to lock the front door behind her when she came inside, Victoria let herself inside the apartment. And even if the apartment had been locked, she could have used her magical knowledge to break the lock on the door.
“You two don’t mind me crashing the party, don’t you?” Victoria asked the two young metahumans, although she did not really care for what answer they were going to give her.
“Why are you even here?” Zac asked, still unsure what in the world was happening. His current girlfriend believes that he is cheating on her with Victoria, who somehow made it seem like that was the truth. But the weirdest thing was Kelly's violence. Zac knew that she could get a little defensive, as he saw when ‘dream-verse’ Aubrey was with them for that short period of time. What has gotten into her?
“To take vengeance on someone who has wronged me in the past.” Victoria responded. However, both Zac and Kelly were shocked to see that she was pointing at Kelly rather than Zac.
“What did I ever do to you? I have never met you before a few days ago!” Kelly said.
“Oh, you might not have seen me in this form before, but you have meet me in this other appearances.” While Victoria spoke, her hands began to glow. She raised her hands above her head and slowly lowered them down to her sides. As she did this, whatever magic she was using began to morph her appearance. Once the transformation was complete, before the two young metahumans stood Kelly’s old high school boyfriend during her senior year.
“Wow, Zac.” Kelly said to her boyfriend as she turned to him, “You were cheating on me with a guy? I didn’t know you were into that stuff.”
Before Zac could again deny that he was cheating on Kelly, Victoria (who now looked like Kelly’s ex-boyfriend) spoke up. “Actually, my true appearance is the one that you just saw, minus some cosmetic modifications. So, that would make you the one who had a Lesbian relationship in high school.”
Victoria (still in the ex-boyfriend’s body) snapped her fingers. Out of nowhere, the lyrics of a Katy Perry song began to play.
I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry chapstick.
“I think I’m going to be sick.” Kelly muttered as she rushed into the bathroom. After Kelly had left the room, Victoria snapped her fingers again and her original appearance returned.
“Um…” Zac began to speak, “I might have missed it, but why exactly are you taking revenge on Kelly?”
Victoria laughed out loud before she answered his question.
“Oh, I just made all that stuff up. It seems like it worked pretty well, don’t you think? Just use some magic to learn some personal information and then craft a perfect lie that would set her off.”
“Then, why in the world are you really here?” Zac asked.
“Well, the power of foresight is one of the perks of knowing magic. I have seen that you two will be a thorn in my side in the future. So, I decided that I might as well take you two out now before you actually become anything close to a competent super-hero. Don't they always say that preventative care is always better than trying to cure it after the fact?”
“Wait, why did you just tell us your plan? Isn’t that a big ‘no-no’ for super-villains?”
“It’s not like you can do anything about it.” Victoria told Zac. Before Zac could move, Victoria muttered two words:
Lumina Gorgonis
A small puff of black smoke appeared next to Victoria, billowing every second until it had grown to a considerable size. Then suddenly, from within the middle of the cloud appeared a giant eye. As soon as the eye opened wide, Zac began to slow down. So much so that he was almost as still as a statue. In fact, his whole body and the clothes that he was wearing had turned to stone, as if Medusa herself had laid her eyes upon the young man.
Finally Kelly reemerged from the bathroom after she had recovered from the lie that Victoria had fed to her.
“I still have a bone to pick with…” But before she could finish her sentence, Kelly saw that her boyfriend was now entirely composed of stone. “What did you do?”
“Oh, I thought a few seconds ago you were about ready to beat the pulp out of poor old Zac. What changed?” Victoria asked with a calm voice, almost as if she was trying to egg her on.
“I didn’t want something like this to happen!” Kelly responded. She had already moved right next to her petrified boyfriend. “I just wanted him to learn a lesson. But nothing like this.”
“How cute. This would make a perfect statue.” Victoria commented as Kelly wrapped her arms around Zac.

The Gorgon-eyed cloud again appeared, but now it had a new target. Again the summoned smoke opened its eye, causing Kelly to become petrified just as quickly as her boyfriend had been.
“I love that spell.” Victoria spoke aloud, although she knew that no one was going to respond to her. “Two perfect dactylic feet. Too bad this little discursion was way too simple. Did I seriously believe that these two would actually pose a threat to me?”
Victoria began her departure from Zac and Kelly’s apartment when suddenly she heard something stirring in the young metahumans’ bedroom. The silver-clad sorceress was intrigued by the noise: Zac and Kelly were supposed to be the only people in the apartment. Victoria wondered if she was going to have some ‘fun’ with an unsuspecting guest.
When she had walked up to the entrance of the bedroom, Victoria saw that their bedroom window was open. Outside the window, she saw a large tree rustling in the wind. Disappointed that what she hoped for as an actual person turned out just to be a tree, Victoria rolled her eyes, not believing that she could have been fool by something that was not even sentient.
BANG
The bedroom door swung on its hinges, crashing into Victoria’s face. The magic user was caught off guard by the blow to the face, causing her to lose her balance and stumble backwards. Victoria, recomposing herself after the impact, looked up back toward the door, seeing her assailant standing in the doorway. Since the lights inside the bedroom were not on, the darkness shrouded the appearance of her attacker.
“And you’re supposed to be what?” Victoria taunted.
Huh, really? I'd always assumed those heads from the Perseus statues were accurate. Learn somethin' new everyday.

Ares dying...
I know that this was more of a "if Ares dies", but I don't think the potential of the Greek gods dying meshes well with Greek Mythology. The Greek gods are called the athanatoi (ἀθάνατοι, 'immortal, deathless') for a reason. These Greek 'gods' are like the Asgardians from Marvel in the sense that they are not 'real' gods, but I do believe that killing a god is more of a Norse idea (Ragnorok, etc.). Off the top of my head, I can only think of Pan dying in Greek Mythology (Plutarch) and of Osiris of Egyptian Mythology (who was resurrected by Isis, if I remember correctly).
The Greek 'gods' being wounded is fine. I just think death is a contradiction to how they are described (athanatoi).
Also note that the Greek 'gods' live in a place similar to Asgard in Marvel comics (of course called Olympus).
@Nitemare Shape: I have posted my old character sheets in the character tab (now that BBCode is supported, which allowed me to copy and paste the sheet). Could you (or actually anyone for the matter of fact) look at my color choices for the character speech and let me know if any of them are too difficult to read? I am pretty comfortable with Iron Knight and Wasp (see her hider in Raptor's CS), but I was not sure whether or not Arachne and Raptor's colors were too dark.

Identity: Secret, only known (eventually) by her roommates
Character Personality: If you were to ask Aubrey to describe herself with one word, it would be religious. She grew up in a conservative Catholic household, therefore is a devout Catholic. To those who are not quite as religious as she is, she might come off as a little bit too much sometimes. She is also on good terms with her family. While her religious and family life might be extremely stable, the rest of her life is somewhat unbalanced. She is unsure what she will be doing after college, even though she is a senior now. While she was set to earn a teaching degree, she is unsure whether that is what she desired to pursue. Furthermore, a Sociology degree (as a second degree option was not going to give her many choices, either. She has already become burnt out from school (4 years in both high school and college), having major senioritis. Her romantic life is not quite as stable either, for she had already gone through several different boyfriends since her senior year in high school, some ending more or less gracefully than others.
One thing just recently has begun to bother her. Recently, she was injected with the same serum that gave the Raptor (Zac Wilson) and the Wasp (Kelly Brown) their powers. However, unlike those two, Aubrey’s physical appearance has not changed at all (besides the wrist spinnerets). Aubrey is unsure whether she would spontaneously morph into some hideous monster at any moment. What had caused her to react to the serum differently? Was it her minor healing factor? Or is it something else?
Aubrey has slightly above average height for a woman (five foot nine) and has an athletic (but not extremely muscular) build. She has blonde hair and gray-blue eyes.
Uniform/costume: Costume Pre-transformation (I promise she will not have this costume for long, probably until I finish her origin arc).
Costume Post-transformation I was considering changing the brown on her new costume to silver/gray, but I have not made up my mind yet.

Origin Info/Details: Aubrey Rose Adkins was born into what most people would consider a normal life. She was from a middle-class family around the Columbus, OH. She was heavily involved with sports, was Homecoming Queen her senior year in high school, even went to college at St. Henry’s University, a liberal arts Catholic university in Columbus. Everything seemed to be extremely normal, until late January this year arrived.
Aubrey’s life was turned upside down when she was kidnapped by a mad scientist (same man who gave Raptor and Wasp their powers) and subjected to an experiment involving the finally stabilized serum. Luckily for Aubrey, the Raptor and Iron Knight had infiltrated (not coordinated) where the scientist was holding her. Now, since she has escaped from the clutches of the mad scientist, Aubrey must attempt to learn to assimilate herself back into her ‘normal’ life. Or is this even possible?
Sports have always been part of Aubrey’s life, especially during high school. When she was in high school, if she was not currently at one sport’s practice, she was probably running off to another one. While this had given her practice at juggling multiple aspects of life at once, nevertheless it sometimes negatively affected her grades. Once she got to college, she had to pick one sport and stick with it. She picked soccer (one reason why was that she received a scholarship at her small university to play that sport). Therefore, she had to drop the others and focus on soccer (and school).

Powers: -Wall-Crawling: Arachne has the ability to create atomic attraction between herself and other objects, allowing her to adhere to numerous surfaces. -Spider-Sense: Arachne possesses the ability to sense people’s movements through the miniscule vibrations she feels in the ground when people move and changes in air pressure. Along with an uncanny 6th sense that can detect danger (but not pinpoint it – Arachne must rely on the vibrations and air pressure for that), this allows Arachne to be quite an allusive target. -Hybrid Bio-Mechanical Web-Shooters: Arachne has natural spinnerets in her wrists; however, she cannot eject them from her wrists like Spider-Man does in the original Spider-Man films with Toby McGuire. She can only pull the threads out like pulling out floss. However, Christopher Arthur III created a device that would draw the webs from her wrists and eject them, just like Spider-Man’s web-shooters. -Superhuman Strength: Arachne can easily lift approximately 20 tons. She can lift more weight if she exerts herself. Arachne must also pull her punches against opponents without similar levels of durability and strength. When she “evolves” into her drider form, she can lift approximately 50 tons. -Superhuman Speed: Arachne’s natural speed exceeds that of modern Olympic athletes. In other words, she could give Usain Bolt a run for his money. -Superhuman Stamina: Arachne does not produce as many fatigue toxins while she physically exerts himself. She has to spend several hours under strenuous circumstances to feel impaired by these toxins. -Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Arachne is twice as flexible than a normal human, allowing her to perform acrobatic maneuvers that high-level gymnast would envy. Her reflexes are 20 times greater than an average human’s would be. -Superhuman Durability: Arachne can take punishment that would severely injure or otherwise kill an average person. Arachne must roll with punches against her in order to prevent the assailant from breaking their limbs. -Superhuman Sense of Equilibrium: Arachne can retain a perfect state of equilibrium, allowing her to remain oriented while crawling upside down and performing acrobatic moves. -Resistance to Foreign Chemicals: Arachne’s metabolism allows her to be less effected by drugs and diseases. -Immunity to Vampirism: Arachne has nothing to fear from the characters of Twilight... -Superhuman Healing Factor: While not anywhere near as efficient as mainstream Wolverine’s healing factor, Arachne can significantly recuperate from injuries more quickly than they would otherwise normally take. She will eventually heal from any wound, however, the more serious the wound, the longer it will take it to heal.

The Worst Week of My Life
My name is Aubrey Adkins. Welcome to the worst week of my entire life.
After I had been kidnapped and injected with some weird serum that was concocted by a mad scientist, you might have thought that I had faced the worst of it. But if you thought this, you would be dead wrong.
When I got back to my apartment near St. Henry’s, right when I opened the front door, my two roommates rushed over to me, embracing me in their arms. Before I called them a few hours ago, my two roommates feared that I had been kidnapped by a certain trafficking operation that had just all the sudden sprung out of nowhere. Once they saw me, they over overcome with joy.
“Hey, Aubrey,” Felecia said, “Why don’t we celebrate your return by going out to eat and then getting some liquor?”
“Well, I think I will pass on this one. All I really want to do tonight is sleep.” I really wanted to go with them, but considering all the craziness I had experience over the last 24 hours or so, all I needed was to rest.
“Well, suit yourself.” Felecia said, “We’ll just celebrate for you.”
--- Another strange occurrence happened while I was preparing to go to bed. After I threw on my pajamas and brushed my teeth, I noticed that there was a small white box sitting on my bed. I have already seen that box before. In fact, I had left that box behind at that rich billionaire’s mansion. While I would never admit it to anyone, I left it there on purpose. I mean, I had zero intent to become some spandex-clad super-heroine.
Since my two roommates were out of the apartment, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try it on once. I mean, I would wear it once and then trash it. Well, within that box were three items: the costume itself, two web shooters, and this device that would nullify my powers, although I think the purpose of it was more focused on the others who could not blend in with normal people. Unlike me, who pretty much looked like a normal person.
The web shooters were kind of unique. Unlike Peter Parker in the original Spider-Man movies, I couldn’t eject webs from my wrists. I could pull it out, but I can’t shoot a drag line to swing around on or something along those lines. Well, these little gadgets work just like how Spider-Man’s web shooters in his most recent movie, except instead of using artificial webs it uses the webbing in my wrists. It is kind of weird if you think about it, but what can you do about it?
Once I had changed into the costume that was in the white box, I checked out how I looked in the bathroom mirror. To be honest, I thought I looked like a genderbent Spider-Man. It was just a tad bit weird. I had my hair tied back into a ponytail that flowed out the back of the mask I wore. The costume itself did not look too familiar. It showed a hint of Spider-Man, but it wasn’t the ‘classic’ look, if you know what I mean. The only thing going for me was that since I had a somewhat athletic build, I didn’t look like some fangirl cosplaying a comic book character.
“That costume fits mighty nicely on you, Aubrey.” A heavenly sounding voice said. That voice made me jump in place since I thought I was alone in my apartment. Once I turned, I realized that there was someone else in the apartment.
Standing in the living room of our apartment was an extremely tall woman with titanium blonde hair and gray eyes. She wore a dress that fell to her ankles, along with a glimmering breastplate. She broached a blue cloak with rather large pin that had a large face on it, which kind of looked like an extremely ugly man. On her head, she had one of those classic Greek helmets and she wore it on to of her head just like how a football player does when he allows the helmet rest atop of his head, but does not allow it to come down over his face. Finally, there was an owl sitting on her shoulder, its head cocked towards one side, as if it was examining its surroundings.
“Who are you?” I asked, kind of freaked out that someone was in our apartment, especially someone I didn’t know.
“Why, I am Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and the Patroness of Athens, of course.”

Identity: Secret, except to certain officials in STRIKE.
Character Personality: As a playboy billionaire, Christopher beats his drums at his own tempo. He’s business by day, party by night, although he allows his leaned back nature bleed into his business affairs. Beyond his business life, Christopher enjoys Greek culture and history, utilizing his companies funds to support archaeological digs in search of new finds in this field, even though they are rare. He is also protective of his half-sister, since she is his only family left (see Origin Info/Details for more info).
Uniform/costume: Due to his side interest in ancient Greece (and history in a lesser extent), his armor has some influences from these time periods. The helmet in the suit shows this influence the best, since it resembles the helmet of the classical Greek hoplite. His armor also has an energy-powered long sword, inspired by the knights from the Medieval period. He also has a weapon what he calls the “Energy Javelin”, which was inspired by both the Homeric combat in the Iliad, where the Heroes would first throw a spear at one another before they engaged in hand-to-hand combat, and the Roman Pila, which would break on contact so that an enemy could not revenge kill with it. His armor has other, more conventional weapons, but these are the “out of the box” ones.
At first, I kind of struggled with what I wanted Iron Knight’s armor to look like. I knew I didn’t want him to look just like Iron Man. Furthermore, I had an idea in my head what I wanted it to look like, but I could not put it down in words or even draw it out. After a little brainstorming, I remembered that I saw my brother and his friend either looking at or making a website about Gundam Wing (I cannot remember which, I was still fairly young). Although I found out that they were giant robots from doing some internet research (but it doesn’t’ surprise me, since it is a Japanese show), I still thought it gave the robotic feel I wanted. I just would have to scale it down to human size (i.e. like Iron Man in a way). Therefore, I placed a link to an image that I thought could be used as an inspiration for the suit (but obviously not an exact copy).
There are several changes I would make to the suit. First, the Greek hoplite inspired helmet (it would look like a hoplite helmet, but there would not be any openings in the front, and there would not be a plume). I would remove the wing-like attachments on the shoulders, and everything below the waist would resemble Ultimate Iron Man more than the sample image. I would probably make the breastplate more flat and all the joints would have to be made so that a man could fit inside the suit. Also, the color scheme would be different shades of gray.
Origin Info/Details: Christopher Arthur III was born to Lexington Arthur II and Medea Arthur. The Arthurs were an extremely wealthy Virginian family, with its wealth tied both from inheritance from their ancestors and profit from the Arthur’s corporation, the Knight’s Corp. At age 16, Christopher graduated from MIT, specializing in Advanced Robotics and Electrical Engineering (he also picked up a minor in ancient Greek from a local college). Two years later, he received his Master’s. Christopher started to work in the Robotics Division at Knight’s Corp.
However, after his first graduation from college, Christopher’s life was turned upside down. His father had been involved in an affair for several years, which resulted in a child being born outside of wedlock. After Christopher received his Master’s degree, his father divorced his current wife and married his mistress. Five years later, a deranged Medea returned and killed herself along with Christopher’s father and his stepmother, leaving Christopher and his half-sister orphaned (who in their right mind would divorce someone by the name of Medea? That’s just asking for trouble). As a result of his father’s death, Christopher inherited both his family’s wealth along with his father’s company.
While Christopher did not have problem socializing with people through his life, he never allowed people to become extremely close to him, except for his childhood friend, Cynthia. While Christopher’s accelerated education robbed them of attending middle and high school together, they both continued to remain in contact. While Cynthia was by no means as intelligent as Christopher was, she was still quite smart for the average American student (top 5 in her graduating class) and she was a nice change of pace to talk to when you are constantly surrounded by super-geniuses. While Christopher desired that they became something more than just “friends”, but he did not want to risk ruining their current friendship if a romantic relationship did not work out. Even they went their separate ways, with Christopher running his father’s company and Cynthia becoming an Archaeologist, they still continued to find a way to keep in contact, even if it has to be emails and IM’s.
If someone asked him why he dubbed his armor “Daedalos”, he would give his usual response, that some terrorists in the Aegean held him up on an island and he created the suit to fly away, just as Daedalos fled from King Minos of Crete in Greek Mythology. However, this wasn’t the true story. Two years ago (from the beginning of this RP), his childhood friend developed a rare, but fatal and inoperative cancer. Christopher frantically developed his prototype robotic exoskeleton, designing it to keep her alive, while the chemotherapy, that would normally could not be used, destroyed the cancer. Christopher called the exoskeleton “Daedalos” because he hoped it would help free Cynthia from her cancer, just as Daedalos’s invention helped him escape Minos. However, Cynthia died before he could get his final product finished.
Shortly after his friend’s death, S.T.R.I.K.E. approached Christopher about his exoskeleton. They wanted Christopher to develop it into a mechanized armor that would allow normal humans to compete with the rising metahuman population, just in case something went out of hand. Since Christopher had already sunk a huge amount of his company’s resources into this project, he couldn’t say no.

Powers: Powers beyond the things listed in the “Attribute” (flight, strength, etc) will be listed here. Furthermore, Iron Knight can make revisions and updates to his armor to prepare the armor for different situations. -Energy-based Sword -Energy Pila -Energy Shield: Iron Knight’s shielding must be activated to be used. Shielding must be lowered in order to use offensive weapons. -Rockets and Missiles: Iron Knight has several different projectiles at his disposal to use against foes at a distance.
Attributes: Strength, Speed, Endurance, and Agility are at Normal Human levels when not in the Power Suit.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Power Suit can remain powered for several hours. Due to the mechanical components associated with the power suit, the wearer of the suit does not have to expend as much physical energy as one normal person would if that person were doing the same activities. However, it still takes mental concentration to control the power suit.
Agility: 20X Human level.
Intelligence: Super-Genius
Fighting Skill: Untrained

Weaknesses: -Still a normal man under the suit. -Armor can become overloaded if enough energy is pumped into the suit. -Takes some time to prep suit for usage.

She is currently a freshman in high school. -George: The Arthur family’s butler, helped raise both Chris and Veronica, especially the later when their parents died (“If Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark can have a butler, why can’t I?” ~CA3).

The cold wind chilled Colonel Cornwall as he paced around an observation bunker situated within the Nevada desert. He quickly glanced at his watch and groaned at what he saw.
“Damn Billionaires, why can’t they have any sense of time? They should learn that the solar system is heliocentric, not egocentric.”
Suddenly, a television monitor switched on within the room, revealing an image of a well-dressed man.
“Welcome, Colonel Cornwall, to an exclusive demonstration of the Daedalos Mark Four. I hope you sit back, relax, and enjoy your buttered popcorn that can be found at the nice concession stands to the rear of the theater. Please enjoy!”
“Can this guy take anything seriously?”
Finally, a robotic exoskeleton burst from the ground, flying straight up into the air. Once it reached the apex of its launch, it looped toward the ground until it straightened itself so that it was parallel to the ground. On the ground in front of the exo-suit were several metallic targets. Immediately after the suit reached the targets, it launched several missiles, piercing each target straight through the middle. The exoskeleton performed a crash down strike on the final target, smashing it with its fist.
In quick succession, the armor launched itself back into the air, darting towards a metallic structure that was beginning to collapse. Instantaneously, several rockets flew straight towards the armor, homing in for the killing blow; however, a blue energy shield appeared around the exoskeleton deflected every last one. The suit landed near one of the falling pillars that supported the collapsing structure, attempting to support the weight of the building. A small laser popped out from the suit, welding the pillar back in its place. The suit repeated this action on all the pillars, saving the almost-doomed building.
After the performance was completed, the Colonel stepped outside of the bunker, waiting for the armor to land.
“While it is totally clear that that armor can perform several different tasks, there is still one more question. So, Mr. Arthur, how does it performed against them meties*.”
However, when the helmet of the suit retracted, the Cornwall was shocked to discover that Christopher Arthur, CEO of Knight’s Corp was NOT the man controlling the suit.
“Sorry Colonel Cornwall,” the pilot said, “Mr. Arthur left for Brazil on quite a short notice. Unless you really want to bother him with an international phone call, you would probably have to wait until he comes back.”
“What is God’s name is he doing in Brazil?” ---- * Meties = Metahumans (similar to Muties = Mutants).
Summary
1 – Colonel Cornwall, a high-ranking officer of STRIKE, is standing in a bunker in the Nevada Desert so that he might watch a demonstration of the latest Daedalos armor. Cornwall asks the man in the suit how it performs against meta-humans, but when it is revealed that Christopher Arthur III is not present, but rather in Brazil, Cornwall reaches his boiling point. Meanwhile, Chris is basking in the warm sun of Brazil, enjoying his time away from the cold weather in the United States. However, he receives an angry call from Colonel Cornwall, which prompts Chris to catch his a ride home on his private plane.
2 – While on his plane ride home, Chris receives information from Colonel Cornwall about the recent meta-human activities (Icon saving Lost Haven from the falling space station and Icon vs. Alsia – although they do not call the later by name). Chris is inspired by the footage of the later event to draw up blue prints for an energy-augmented sword and his energy pilum. Then they go over the events at Little Ulster. The Colonel decides to send the prototype up there to investigate, to the shock of Chris because he knows that the prototype is not fully armed yet.
3 – Chris arrives back in the United States and starts to analyze the data compiled by the prototype armor. He does not find anything useful in the data (although there was a man who almost fell 80 feet to his death because he did not realize that his door now lead to an 80-foot drop). Since he cannot make any progress on the Little Ulster case, Chris starts to tinker with the designs for his private suit. His butler, George, brings Chris his favorite midnight snack, pizza. Later, his half-sister, Veronica, berates Chris for his relationship choices (numerous one-night stands) and for the awkward Venus de Milo, which has its face replaced with the face of his long-time and now deceased friend. Chris defends himself by saying that he has not reached Pygmalion-level weirdness. Chris continues to work late into the night until he passes out on his desk because of lack of sleep.
