Samantha "Sammy" Kadowsky
Sammy slipped through the window into Zac and Kelly’s bedroom. Luckily for Sammy, Zac and Kelly’s room was not any higher up in the apartment complex, or things would have become rather difficult for her to just enter into the apartment safely, let alone rescuing her best friend and her boyfriend. She attempted to land inside the room as softly and quietly as she could. While getting inside without alerting her friends’ assailant was not too difficult, keeping silent might not be as easy as Sammy would have otherwise thought. “Crap!” Sammy thought to herself as her feline tail knocked into the alarm clock on the nightstand beside the bed, causing the clock to begin descending to the ground. Using reflexes that even Sammy did not even know she had, Sammy caught the clock before it collided with the ground, which would have caused a noise that would have alerted whoever was after Zac and Kelly. Nevertheless, even though she had not made a sound, Sammy could still hear footsteps coming toward the bedroom. Therefore, she darted behind the bedroom door. Sammy could hear the footsteps of whoever was the person in her best friend’s apartment. Trying her best to keep her breathing as silent as possible, Sammy stood motionless behind the door, while the person who had attacked her best friend (and her bff’s boyfriend) scanned the room just to make sure no one else was inside the apartment. When she heard the woman sigh, obviously thinking that the wind and the tree outside had caused the noise, Sammy took full advantage of this moment, knowing that it would catch the woman off guard. With all the force that she could muster, Sammy slammed the bedroom door into the woman who stood at the entrance to Kelly and Zac’s bedroom. BANG Sammy reopened the door after it had slammed into the woman. When she stepping into the entrance of the bedroom (or exit in her perspective), Sammy saw that she had caused the woman to tumble to the ground. “And you’re supposed to be what?” The woman taunted. “You messed with my best friend. So I’m the girl who is going to kick your magical little ass.” However, before Sammy could say anything else, she noticed the two stone statues, or what seemed like statues, sitting on the couch. Sammy placed her hands over her mouth, astonished by what she saw. “What did you do to them?” “You’ll just have to find out first hand.” A smile cracked across the woman’s face as she began to rise to her feet.
Lumina Gorgonis
Suddenly, the grayish smog began to billow again, growing larger and larger as every moment pasted. Once it has grown to a significant size, a giant, bloodshot eye cracked open, revealing a yellow iris. However, unlike the time before when the woman used it on both Kelly and Zac, nothing happened to Sammy. “What the hell is that supposed to do?” Sammy was unnerved by the smoke cloud that possessed a single eye. “Hm…” The woman pondered aloud, “That usually works. What could have possibly gone wrong?” Before this woman could even answer this question for herself, Sammy had already dashed towards her, using her own momentum to crash into the woman, causing both of them to tumble to the ground. “Do you even know one thing about actually fighting someone that wasn’t inspired by Hollywood?” The woman said as she began to pick herself off the floor. “Because using brute force like that is just going to hurt you just as much as me.” “Oh crap…” Sammy thought to herself as she felt the pain from the collision.
Holy cow. I haven't posted in two freaking weeks. That has to change!
<Snipped quote by Dedonus> No problem. I was trying to decide that or not earlier.
Much better.
Bright_Ops and I are still working on our collaboration. Just wanted to pop in to let you all know.
Marius
Marius had been writing alongside of the caravan of wagons on his trusty steed, Bucephalus. Since he was a mounted knight, there was no need for Marius even to think about riding in any of the wagons. He had his own form of transportation that would get him to wherever he wished. Marius was just glad that it actually happened to be quite a nice day. It would have been quite miserable if Marius had to ride exposed to some harsh elements, whether it be rain, snow, or heat, while his companions were comfortably protected by their covered moving shelters. While riding beside the caravan, Marius noticed someone was hanging off the back of one of the wagons. Did whoever it was not know that hanging off a moving vehicle like the ones in this caravan could be dangerous? Perhaps this individual still was under the influence of the alcohol that he (or she) had consumed the night prior (or, god forbid, this morning). Therefore, Marius decided to investigate in order to inquire who it was. Marius discovered that the man who was hanging off the edge was Jerod, one of the hardened mercenaries that were accompanying this motley crew that was called the Shepherds. “Morning, Sir Jerod.” Marius turned Bucephalus around so that he would be riding along side of the wagon and moving in the same direction. “What on earth has possessed you to hang off the edge of this wagon? Surely that Marianne character has not enchanted you into doing so? Or is there a different perpetrator in this, such as King Beer?”

Abra
Abra looked over her former foster mother’s house once last time, checking to ensure that she was not leaving anything behind that she thought that she was either going to need or going to miss if she happened to forget it. She had spent her whole life in this house. It was almost heartbreaking that she was about ready to leave it forever. Even in spite of her fond memories of this place, there was nothing chaining her down in this place anymore, ever since the death of her foster mother, Helike. Unfortunately, it was just time for Abra to move on to other, and hopefully better, things. As the floorboards underneath her creaked from the stress placed upon them by her foot, Abra took one last gander at Helike’s bookshelf. Abra obviously could not bring all the books that populated the shelving unit; all these books would just weigh her down, if she could carry them all in the first place. After some careful deliberation, Abra pulled out one of the books off the shelf. The cover of this book was deep red, hinting at the focus on fire enchantments that lay hidden within that book. However, this was not the only book that drew her attention. Abra pulled out a second book, this one having a blackish-purple cover, almost like the color of raisins made from Black Corinth grapes. This was the book that Abra had stumbled upon on the night of her sixteenth birthday. Something about that book just drew her attention to it. Was she going to use it? Of course not, but there was just a little nagging voice inside her head that nodded her to bring it along too. After making her last round about the house, Abra gathered up her bag and headed toward the door. Before she left, Abra grabbed a small urn from the fireplace mantle. Within this miniature container was a fraction of the ashes of her recently-departed foster mother. The rest of her ashes had been buried in the backyard, with only a small marker that declared that Helike was laid to rest there. While she considered that bringing along this urn might come off as, well, morbid and grotesque, but at the same time, it almost felt as if her foster mother was still at her side, guiding her on whatever road lies ahead of Abra. With one last sorrowful tear, Abra departed from her foster mother’s house for the last time.
Alright. I'll post sometime tomorrow, cause im too tired to type anything coherant.
I don't like to complain, but the blue you use for your character's speech is very difficult to read on the Guild's dark background. Edit: Also, post should be up soon.

Hey guys, now that I've got DCU up and running I have more time for other RP's. If you'll have me, I can get a Captain America sheet up by the end of the day. Or Iron Man, haven't decided.
Either one would be welcomed! :D Also, sorry guys I have not posted or anything. A mix between procrastination and actually trying to get stuff done has come to bite me in the butt. :( But I will try to work on my Hawkeye application whenever I get a chance.

I see that apollo's a bit busy, does anyone know if you guys are still accepting characters/new players?
Um...I am actually not sure. You would just have to wait for Apollo to give the official ruling on whether or not we are still accepting.
