Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

@rechonq Well I presumed an NPC team, even if I had to create and control all four characters (which I'm perfectly capable of) would be required.

I could do that, and I'll probably be forced to end up doing that. I just get really annoyed at GMs who accept characters without giving their applications a proper read and consideration. I mean, I do it sometimes, too, but at the very least I'll read the bios to get a grasp on a character's situation and whatnot to determine whether they should be accepted.

That aside, I'll also have to turn back her age a little to help it flow more easily (just a personal thing - I like making my characters fitting well), or at least make some kind of other edits. I'm not complaining, just sayin' I'll have to do a fair few things to accompany the first-year-standard :P Including editing that IC post, which should be pretty simple.

Oh no?

Motherfucking catdog XD
Everyone's comparing their characters to dogs, and I'm just sitting here thinking: "There is no dog that is a cat"

I hate to say it, but I can't help but feel like she suits being a Pug rather well XD
@KoL I might be making an especially long post where I can sufficiently get you in a position of freedom, Kaori's text message, and an open interaction with Ryoki available if anyone wants it.
@NekoJordan

Just going to point out I specifically said Vivianne was in her last year at Beacon Academy in her bio. Perhaps you should give it a read sometime - it's quite interesting ;)

@Simple Unicycle

As it turns out, Kin'Kro and Riz were in the midst of some kind of brawl, with Tiz sighing in disbelief, and Sheil running ove to him and hiding behind him, gently holding on to his arm by the sleeve of his shirt. "Please, can I stay the night with you? You can cut my pay in half, I don't care! I just cannot be in the same room as these three..."

@BytheSpleen

"Both," answers the Gnoll with a grin, showing off it's fangs like a proud warrior. "It wouldn't take much effort to take over the village with a Universal Blade, no?"
I just scroll through the latest IC posts real quick, and al of a sudden I see people getting punched in the face.

Da fuck is going on? XD I need to read the other peoples posts more...
Arriving at Beacon wasn't quite as breathtaking for Vivianne as it may have been for other first-years. She'd seen the academy, as well as similar structures, many times in her seventeen years of living. Even so, she was certainly impressed by the structure. Humanity sure had come a long way since its days before dust, and hopefully it would continue to do so well into the future. Vivianne merely hoped that the threat of the Grimm could be dealt with quickly enough before the world was rid of Dust, seeing as it was a finite resource, which would only ever decrease as time went on.

From the way she walked, one could automatically assume she was something of a prestigious class, though that wasn't the case for the young Gaia. She was simply taught to be well-mannered and formal by her parents, as was the way of a Shrine Maiden. She walks without much presence, trying not to draw too much attention to herself yet, as she slowly, quietly made her way to the front entrance, passing by the checklist teacher with little more than a smile as she enters the front entrance to the academy.

Such great legends had spawned from Beacon over the years. Her own family had attended the academy for as long as they'd taken to being hunters and huntresses. Tales of teams JNPR and RWBY particularly caught her interest most recently, as these people had taken to becoming legends, creative and unique. Well, now was Vivianne's time - it was her turn to become someone great. Someone others could look up to.

She wanted to become a symbol for those who felt they weren't as skilled as the others; she wanted to prove that by working hard, you can achieve anything. And what better way to do that than to prove to the world you can become an excellent huntress without a semblance?

"I took a pill this morning, so I should be OK..." She muses to herself as she tries to make sense of where she had to go. "Where do the new students go again...? Was it the auditorium?" She asks herself, looking around. She'd studied the layout of Beacon beforehand, so she knew exactly where to go. "So I need to go this way..." She says to herself as she starts heading for the auditorium.
(For best results, read everything else before the bio first :P If you read where I got my app from, I changed her takeover semblance from "Dragon" to "Fallen Angel". It was the closest I could get to what I wanted XD)

Name: Vivianne Gaia

Age: 17

Bio: Before anything, Vivianne is a Shrine Maiden. She always has and, from her perspective, always will be. A tender to the god's temples, Vivianne grew up a shrine maiden, and has devoted her life to the service. Ever since she was young she has been fond of the priestesses and their ability to bless those around them with their power, hence why Vivianne has always wanted to become one, too.

However, there's a sharp contrast between desire and truth...

She was always mature for her age, or so people tell her, and even now she upholds the position of upperclassman with a level of maturity that far outranks even some of the current hunters and huntresses. Perhaps this was the reason she did so well in both her studies as a shrine maiden and as a student at Beacon academy. Regardless, Vivianne lived a peaceful life as a shrine maiden in-the-making with her family, up until her twelfth birthday, where Durandal was passed down to her. At first the blade scared her, and to this day it still does at times, however she learnt to better control it -- to tame it -- over the course of the next few years. Her mother and father trained her in its use, so Vivianne could continue the legacy of the family and it's sacred weapon.

Everything was going well for the next few years, up until she reached her fifteenth birthday: the day she was old enough to attempt to evoke her semblance. Unfortunately for Vivianne, this would soon become the worst birthday of her life. So much so she would curse herself out for years to come because of it.

It was the third of June - a day usually accompanied with happiness and cheer was soon enveloped in depression and grief ever since she lost control of her semblance three years ago. The Gaia family, also known for handing down the great blade Durandal, were also known for their skilled works as hunters and huntresses, namely due to their impressive semblances. Why were they so impressive? Because all of their semblance were living creatures.

Of course, each member of the family would be granted a different animal, though they wouldn't always awaken to it thanks to favouring other lifestyles. However, Vivianne was "gifted" with possibly the strongest semblance in the family: the Fallen Angel. At first things were going well, but once the Fallen Angel took over, there was no stopping the destruction and pure carnage that ensued. Vivianne had lost control, and during that brief time, the shrines had been destroyed, and her family... killed.

Upon her recovery, she had people she once knew as friends calling her out as a demon, and her right to become a shrine maiden had been revoked. Fearing that they may even kill her, Vivianne fled and wandered the streets of the city for a whole year, often going for long periods of time fasting and not eating simply because she couldn't get anything edible. It was here, on the streets, that she came across a semblance suppressant drug - the key to locking away all her problems. Of course, she brought a great number of them (though it certainly wasn't cheap - she had to pull a few favours that she wasn't proud of), and took the drug in healthy amounts, though there were some terrible side effects...

Towards the end of the year, Vivianne was about ready to die until she was found by a hunter of Beacon Academy. He took her there and allowed her to recover her strength. The hunter questioned Vivianne about her blade, Durandal, and she replied that it was something handed down to her in hopes she could become a huntress. He then asked her if she actually wanted to become a huntress, and Vivianne told him it was all she had, now. And so, at the beginning of term, she took the test to see if she was capable of becoming a huntress.

Needless to say, she failed pretty hard. She wasn't an excellent fighter back then, and wasn't all that smart in the subject of being a huntress. Thankfully, the hunter took her under his wing and she began to train...

Her mature attitude, strong will and determination made learning a synch. In fact, in half a year, the hunter had already given her some of the more advanced stuff in what would've been her year group, and she was doing pretty damn good. Her physical abilities had also improved a lot, although she didn't look it. So, now halfway through the first year, Vivianne took the test again...

... and absolutely aced it. She received top marks in the academic tests and her athletic abilities were just as good. And so, Vivianne was finally accepted into Beacon.

Now beginning her first year at Beacon Academy, Vivianne hopes to become the best she can be, in an effort to escape from her past. The question is, how long will that last?

Weapon: Durandal - a sacred blade passed down the generations and modified to fit today's weapons, Durandal is a powerful blade that excels in what it does. That is, destroying things. The polar opposite to Vivianne, this blade is destructive and violent on a tremendous level. Transforming it turns the blade into an anti-tank rifle capable of piercing just about everything. The downside of this weapon is that it's extremely hard to control, like it has a mind of its own, as Vivianne put it, and it's second form is incredibly hard to find ammunition for, hence it gets sparse use.
It looks a little something like this, but as a two-handed greatsword:

Semblance/Special Ability: Balance Break - an ability of dangerous power that Vivianne has sealed away within herself. She wishes nothing more to do with this power and has vowed to herself to never use it. What it does is it overwhelms the user's limitations in return for their senses, as they allow a creature to take over their body. Vivianne's is a Fallen Angel. They're capable of becoming stronger than even the greatest of grimm, but the user loses all control in the process, hence why Vivianne has devoted all her time to self-control ever since "the incident". She has taken action to suppress this power by whatever means necessary.

Equipment: Durandal, x5 Mega Dust Rounds, shrine maiden clothing, semblance suppressants, magenta pendant
