Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

"Yes, we shall." Shirako states with a small nod as she follows Chelsea on their journey to the cafeteria. This time Shirako manages to walk alongside Chelsea, though what's odd is she almost perfectly mimics her pace and stance, with the two almost walking in synchronization. In order to pass the time, Shirako asks: "Are you looking forward to becoming a huntress?"
@VKAllen I certainly wouldn't mind helping you a little if you need it. :P
Should get a post up maybe tomorrow :P

Will get a post up tomorrow, probably!
"Aww, come on! Five hundred credits for one o' these? That's, like, super expensive! At least I think it is..."

The wonder man who had a growing reputation in the latter districts of Ancora, known by the name of Markus Jones, was currently trying to buy nothing more than a loaf of bread at a street vendor on the 17th District. Unfortunately for him, it was turning out to be quite troublesome...

The old lady whom was now dealing with the outsider simply smiles. "It's really not all that expensive, dear. I know prices have skyrocketed since I was young, but nowadays you can be paid many times that amount for a job as simple as garbage disposal. Though of course, nowadays people have their fancy techno gizmos to help them out with all the hard labor. In fact, back in my day-"

... The woman went on a very long speech about how in the twenty-first century, people actually had to do things with their own body parts! Markus was oddly attentive, listening for a solid fifteen minutes before he finally interrupted, and only did so because the woman had gone off-topic. Though apparently she was messing with him...

"I was joking, dear." She says as she hands over the loaf of bread from her small street stall. Markus is pleasantly surprised. "Please, take it. I've heard stories about you from my husband. He says you did something to make the old television able to run with the new-age power supply." But, although the old woman's offer was kind, Markus had to decline.

"I'm sorry, Miss, but if I wanna make it in this world I gotta work for myself!" Exclaims the young man with a grin, his teeth tinted yellow, yet still holding strong. The old lady frowns, having anticipated that answer, however quickly replaces it with a kind smile once she took back the bread.

"You're too kind, dear."

"I'm just trying my best to be a good person!"

"And you're doing fine just the way you are." The old lady states, her eyes suddenly turning serious, though with that same level of kindness and wisdom she had portrayed during their conversation. "Though I warn you, it might become difficult to keep true to yourself in the future. New Ancora can be hard on people, especially those in the B districts, so I urge you to be careful. I was lucky to end up in a relatively safe place with enough money to get me by without going to extreme measures. For a man like yourself, who's drawing a lot of attention, you might just want to keep your wits about you. Though I'm fairly certain I don't have to worry about that."

"Heh! Not at all, ma'am! I understand completely!" Markus salutes the old lady as they did (and presumably still do) in the 'olden days', and to his surprise, the woman salutes back, causing the two to laugh. "Well, I'm off! If I return to District 17 I'll be sure to buy all the bread you have!" Markus says, turning around and beginning to walk off. Unbeknownst to him, the lady had actually attached the loaf of bread to his bag with a clip, smiling to herself as he walks away in the direction of District 16's gate.

"Take care, Markus Jones. You may need it..."
Alright, tomorrow is the latest I'm going to give myself to reply XD If I don't do it then I'll punch myself in the face.
@Ghost Shadow I was planning on doing a response earlier today however I got a little too distracted relaxing (plus there were newborn puppies to tend to :P). Expect a reply either tonight or tomorrow.

Shirako stares silently without a word. It was almost as though she were trying to peer into her soul! Those sapphire blue eyes of hers seemed so... devoid. It's like there was nothing but a shell within. No, it was like staring at a solid blue wall - that analogy fir much better. It doesn't look back, and it doesn't reflect anything, nor does it seemingly absorb anything. It's just... there!

'Name added to profile database: Chelsea. General personality type: kind. Signs of dark intentions: none. Constructing mental profiel... Profile complete. Creating personality type 03 - name type: 03.Chelsea. Continuing persona evaluation...'

Thoughts whirred around in Shirako's head as she blinks, apparently waking up from her daydream-like state, or so it would appear to Chelsea. "Apologies. It appears I forgot to initiate a formal greeting upon our encounter as well. I still have much to learn when it comes to people." She bows slightly to the cream-haired girl, a greeting Shirako took from one of her memory files when she passed by some people in Vale. Unknown to anyone in Beacon, she was actually mimicking the bow to perfection, through the use of complex mathematics and video-audio memory. "My name is Shirako Grey. It is pleasing to meet you." She finishes her short bow as soon as she states her name, looking straight into Chelsea's eyes once again as she searches her for a response. "I am sorry if I appear, as you may perceive, to be awkward. I am not well-versed in the ways of... socializing." Although she had already said it earlier, she wanted to make sure the point got across, in the hopes that she could get along with Chelsea.

Shurui wasn't in much of a mood to talk after his latest encounter with Guan Du Xiu Ru, and the fact that Lady Ru came to speak with him a second time further soured his mood. Despite this, he attempts not to show his growing dislike for the woman's presence by engaging in conversation with her, even if he'd tilted his hat so he couldn't see her directly. He knew she wasn't to blame - he himself just held to that specific memory a lot more than one should. And it hurt him. A lot. "Y-yeah... Thing is, she doesn't seem like the kind of girl to run out on her own, so I get the feeling she'll be back soon. Gone to get something, most likely. Could be equipment. Let's just give her some time..." As though to verify this, he shows off his bag, plus one of the knives that he kept on his person.

"And, just so you know..." He pauses. "This mission was picked out by her, not me. Unless you've already spoken to her, I suggest you notify the girl and tell her you wish to join us. Though, considering we'll be meeting up with her regardless, I guess that isn't a problem."

Having put a temporary pause to their conversation, he looks over to the Jade Rabbit, as though to ask what he wanted. Hearing his request, Shurui nods in understanding. "My name is Shurui Seishin - the only ghost... alive?" He couldn't help but chuckle; every time he told that joke it made him chuckle. Humour certainly helped sooth the mind. "As I said to my... friend here, it's the young Nao who will be leading this little expedition. Personally I have no objections to you or Miss Ru joining, and I doubt the girl would disagree, but I've been wrong before. She'll be arriving back at the guild soon, or at least should be, otherwise we'll go out and start the mission, assuming she's done the same. And please, don't call me 'Honorable'. Personally I'm not a big fan of titles anymore."
