The soft ticking of the clock filled the room as Vincent sat in his chair. The constant ticking was annoying but so was the slowly growing darkness in his heart from years long since past. He knew that Nikki was right. It never truly disappeared. The feeling had been caged up. No, more like buried deep inside waiting for the day it was slowly slither out from its hidden spot and grow. The man leaned to the right, his eyes looking across the room in the darkness at some invisible friend, before leaning to the left. His thoughts filled his mind as the rain slowly pattered upon the roof. Sounds of distant thunder crashed from what sounded like the South as a familiar lullaby was quietly hummed inside the room.

Nails scraping against the door cause the man to flicker his cold dead eyes toward the door. There was a reason he had chosen this spot. The house set on the outskirts of the slowly growing trailer park, which made planning and gaining members easier, the second was because there were signs that people stopped here first. That was until they were slaughtered Walkers. The scratching continued forcing the man's temper to flare before a distant gunshot from the West echoed through the air, making him wonder if the people inside the school could hear. If they didn't it was only a matter of time before they find fresh bodies at their door steps but if they did check it out then some of his men would be waiting.

Chimera paled at the sight. She wonder who made this and if they were just trying to kill the students instead of helping them. The young woman looked toward her partner fear showing upon her face. She opened her mouth to speak only to have a small speak escape. The girl closed her mouth to try again only to have the same thing happen.@olcharlieboi

” Who said you have to take care of me? I can take care of myself without your help. If you want to be that why I can gladly walk back without you.” Clara said as she noticed the sky darkening. This was the time when walkers were high and in charge which spelled doom for any travelers without shelter. Just like how they were without anything but weapons and opened area around them, this caused the darker half to frown. ” Best we get going. With any luck we will.” her words were cut off as shots rang out from the opposite direction. She grabbed Alex's hand and jerked him toward toward the house she had already cleared before shoving the guy inside and shutting the door.

The young woman ducked down low and stayed where she was, listening to shoes scuffling from close by, before a Walker's groan caught her attention. A jerk on her shoe told it's location so all she did was lower the knife right into the head. “ Vincent seems a bit cold to me Josh. That's all I'm saying. I mean possessive over the woman he loves who is being held captive by a man is fine. But being possessive over some half sister who is also being held captive is just plain out weird.” A man said out loud. “I'll admit it's a bit over the top but it's all we got to go by. Not to mention that he's been really kind to us.” The other said. The darker half shifted and placed her right arm to help steady herself, making sure not to put too much weight on it, while listening for them to walk by. “Are we leaving the truck?” “Yeah. It's for the boss's sister in case she escaped. The key is inside the glove department.” A wicked smile creeped across the young woman's lips as the two men walked away. She stood up and opened the door. ” I have us a ride home. Follow me.” Clara said. She turned around and lead the way towards the car.

Chimera shifted back to human form with a smile upon her face. The reason she changed was to see how strong their bond was at this moment. It felt a somewhat strong which meant that Loki would be able to use her with little problems. Though time would tell if it ever grow. But at this moment the teenager was happy about their bond.@olcharlieboi
