Nikki listened and the man who had carried her inside pulled the tape off of her mouth. She was listening to Vincent and Haru arguing about Erin who in Nikki's opinion looked terrible. Nikki interrupted him and said. "Take this tape off of me..” Her feet were still taped together and she started to fall over and was immediately moved to the couch. The man, whose name she hadn't heard yet looked to Vincent for approval on removing the tape.

Vincent didn't do anything at first. His mind was wondering if she would run and save herself but then again that wasn't like the woman. " We can untie you but I must ask that you stay put." he said calmly as he went and whispered something into the man's ear before dismissing both Raven and the guy. The guy walked over and untaped Nikki. " There we go. I'm sorry for the sudden kidnapping but I was afraid that Matt would deny me visiting hours."

Nikki got up and went to Erin on the floor purposely ignoring Vincent's comment about Matt. "Erin? Are you okay hunny?" Nikki gently but firmly pulled the girl into a sitting position and hugged her. "You are okay. Everything is going to be fine. Vincent doesn't want to hurt us.” Nikki rocked Erin and tried to comfort her. Nikki didn't look at Vincent at all she turned to Haru.

"She has been taking them how long now? Just a few weeks right?" Seeing his nod she looked at Erin's expression. Her eyes were dull and listless and she seemed like she was just a void. There was nothing there. Nikki held her and laid her head on her shoulder.

"Vincent, Erin has been taking medication to get rid of Clara. Erin didn't want it, Clara did and so Clara was taking them. This is a direct side effect. She has withdrawn so far into herself, that coupled with the grief over Jenna's death....Erin is in there but she is lost in her own mind."

" I don't think it's just the medicine Nikki. It might also because her personality has been spilt for so long she doesn't know how to act like a normal person." Haru stated as Erin shivered as if she was cold. Vincent just sighed and walked to the couch and took the blanket off. He walked back over to the two girls and covered them up. " I thought we agreed to give the pills a week?"

"She wouldn't take them. One day out of the blue Clara started taking them." Nikki wouldn't even look at Vincent. She was afraid of what she would see there. "I don't know Haru at this point I would say anything is possible.”

Nikki felt Erin trying to cuddle with her a little and she let her. Sitting on the ground wasn't helping either of them though. "Where is our room?" Nikki asked Vincent. "I think Erin and I should lay down."

Haru shook his head. " I want to change the bandages first." he walked over and slowly removed her arms out of the blanket causing her to flinch. The young man slowly unwrapped them showing the cuts. They were deep enough to cause scarring but not enough to bleed out really fast. " I need alcohol or peroxide. As well as a change of bandages. If doesn't look like she hit anything major. For now on I would advise she not be left alone." Vincent returned with everything the teenager asked for. Erin tried pushing them away only to be held down by her brother as the other male cleaned the wounds.

Nikki scooted to make sure she helped hold Erin and softly spoke to her to comfort her. Erin eased up a little bit. After they were done with her wounds Nikki knew she had to talk to Vincent. "Haru can you take her to where we are sleeping and stay with her?"

After they were alone Nikki looked at Vincent, "Why? why did you take me away from my family. I am needed there. Do you know that today James may have killed an 8year old child to get me here?" By this time Nikki couldn't help the tears, it was that pregnancy crying thing that drove her nuts. "Why is what you want more important than other people's lives?" Nikki backed up from him.

"I am married now. My husband and Matt will make sure they come for me. You aren't going to get away with this."

" That's not funny Nikki. I want our child safe from the dangers out there and I want my sister to be normal once again. Not drugged up like she is right now. I want my family to be together and stay with me and not running around playing super hero to a bunch of delinquents. You could have been killed out there by another group for all anyone knew. I'm not going to risk you getting hurt just because people are playing stupid. Now the three of you are staying here and that's final." the man said in a stern voice. It was obvious that he wasn't moving on this decision.

"What in the world would make you think that you had any say in my life at all? This isn't your baby. It's mine and Kyle's. Even he doesn't try to tell me what to do. It has nothing to do with control it's about Respect! Stay away from me! And if you try to hurt my baby I'll kill you." Nikki said with a determined look in her eye.

Vincent glared at her. " I'm not going anywhere. We both know that your child is ours not yours and some other guy's! I'm trying to protect you and our child from danger and you're acting as if I'm the worst person on Earth! I'm not telling you twice and if you haven't noticed my word is law here!" the man said in anger. There was a knock on the door causing him to breathe in deeply then release it in order to cool his temper. " If not for me then for Erin. She needs you here and I'm unfortunately rather busy keeping my people alive." he said trying to use a different strategy.

Nikki shook her head, "This baby is NOT yours! Why can't you understand that? And as far as I'm concerned YOU ARE the worst person on the planet. What, did you threaten them all into following you? Your sister can not just stop taking her meds cold turkey or it could kill her. You knew she was going on meds. I have a large supply for her at the school but there is no way that she can get them here. If you cared anything for either of us you would take us back and leave us alone."

Nikki looked at him with a combination of anger and regret. Her frustration was obvious and she turned away from him. "Why do you want me when you know I am married now and love someone else?"

" Because I still love you. Please get some rest I need to take care of something and then I'll be." he started to only hear Erin's scream. The man dashed towards the room with Nikki in his heels. He slid inside and slowly walked towards her. " Erin it's just a nightmare. You're safe here. I promise that you're safe." she was curled up in a ball into the corner of the bed. " I swear I didn't do anything to her Nikki. She was asleep and then her eye suddenly snapped open and screamed."

"I know you didn't Haru." She moved around Vincent without touching him at all. "Eye? Which one? Erin's or Clara's?"

" It's still Erin. I've tried everything to have Clara pop out before the day James grabbed us but she's like in a coma or something." the young man stated as the lighter half started to back up and nearly fell off the bed.

"Yeah, the meds work but they take Erin too. We need her meds. She can't come off just like that or it can do serious harm, possibly kill her. Do you by chance have some of them with you?"

" No. I wasn't able to get her out from underneath the table."

Nikki thought a minute and looked around and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from the desk. She wrote a note to Matt. It said,

Matt,
Erin needs her meds to keep Clara at bay. We need to take her off of them. Please give them to Haru.

She handed the note to Vincent. "That should get her what she needs. Once she is off of them then I am going back home." Nikki walked out the back door and sat on the steps.

Haru walked out of the trailer. His walking was off due to a broken rib and a sore leg. " I understand that you want to go home and all but what about Erin? I mean have you seen her cheek? I'm betting he hit her just because she stayed in the high school." he commented to get Nikki's attention.

Nikki had her hand on her stomach. "Haru, I care a lot about Erin. I really do but my baby and my own life have to take priority. I'm not being mean, just honest. At some point in time Erin or Clara needs to take over and run her own life and take care of herself. If that doesn't happen I'm not sure how long she will make it in this world as bad as it is now." Nikki looked at Haru and shook her head slightly. "You could look a little better yourself."

" Yeah. Teenager meets the devil within big brother was not even close to what I experienced. I understand I just figured I would ask. I noticed something on the table when we arrived but I couldn't get a good look at it. I suppose it may be concerning the school." Haru said as he placed the note back into Nikki's hands. " Get outta here and never come back. You need to stay in the high school. You need to forget about us and tell everyone to stay away." he said in a very serious voice.

"Haru that is much easier said than done. I have no idea where we are. I have no weapons, I'm pregnant and Erin needs these meds so she can come off of them properly, she could have a stroke or worse without them!"

" We don't need you. We don't need help. I can help her without any help." he said harshly. It was all a lie but he needed Nikki in a safe place that way they could distract the mobster. He placed a set of keys in her hand as well as the razor blade Erin had used. " It's an old style razor blade but it should work and I managed to swipe these off of a guard. Now get going."

Nikki looked at the keys and it had a Chevy emblem on it. There were only 2 chevy's on the lot and one of them was missing a hood and a roof. She got up and ran to the truck and once inside it she backed it up and hit the gas. She rammed into the other two cars on the lot making them undriveable. Once she got out to the road she hit the gas hard.

What the girl didn't know was that Vincent had another team waiting for someone to attempt to escape. They were careful and shot one of the tires causing a flat. They quickly had the two cars drive on both sides and then made them come side by side forcing Nikki's truck to stop. One of the men held a gun up and told her to get in their car. When she did the drove back to the camp and locked her inside with Haru and Erin.

Erin was curled up in a corner with bandages around her wrists and a dark blue bruise on her cheek from the girl's brother. She had received a much simpler punishment then Haru had gotten from Vincent. The young man was almost beaten to death or that's what the youngest sibling had heard from passing guards. The door opened causing her to curl up tighter as someone was thrown inside and the door shifted shut behind them. ” Dumb asses! If you try and touch me again then prepare to taste my fists of fury cause I wouldn't go down without a fight! You heard me!” the young man said as he slammed his foot against the door frame and quietly whimpered in pain afterwards. He shifted to face the wall, only to just now notice the girl due to being separated from each other. ” Erin are you alright? Vincent didn't hurt you did he?” the teenager asked. She didn't answer.

” Why does everyone think that I'm the bad guy? There are people much worse living in this world than yours truly.” the older brother commented as he walked inside. ” I don't know. Maybe it's because you had James kill Jenna which caused a chain reaction to have your sister suddenly develop the taste to be suicidal. Not adding in the fact that you're no better than the one who works for you.” the man seemed to frown at these facts. ” Jenna was an unfortunate event. I had no clue James was such a loose cannon. As for Erin's sudden reaction to her mother figure’s death I wasn't aware that the lighter half would do that.” he mentioned as Nikki was brought in through the back door by Raven. ” You knew that she was unstable that day. You knew that her parents died on her birthday yet you still went with your plan causing Erin to actually try and take her own life because she thought it was better if she was dead.” the young woman curled up even though she was in as already as tight of a ball as she could be. ” No. I wasn't aware of this. If I would have known I would have gotten them sooner but now that they're here together maybe my sister's heart will mend. Even if it is just a small fragment.”

The lighter half lifted her head with tears in her eye at the two men before looking at Nikki. The emotion was foreign to everyone in the room and if not at least the amount and was now showing was. The usual loving emotion which used to been seen inside the young woman's eye was completely gone and replaced by empty space. Her movements was that of a an abused child cowering from their parent causing the older brother to look truly hurt. The man wouldn't know the reason for these reactions from the youngest sibling but Nikki and Haru would due to knowing that she was always taking the pills Matt had given her in order to keep Clara at bay.
