Well to pass you a suggestion for what to post then you don't need to think externally when you post at all in an NRP. This is something I and my friends have taught ourselves when going about our posting.

Given we all run large "nations" (quote-unquote) we are in possession of several hundred-thousand up to a million individuals all within our control. And what I can tell what @Brink_ is doing is something of internalized establishment of what things are in-country. And that's something what everyone should have in mind. A good NRP shouldn't have to play out as a game of Age of Empires where all the "characters" are unit pawns of some grand design no one questions. What we have as citizens are individuals or groups with their own aspirations, intriques, and ambitions. These should and need to be explored.

And when we're in question about something external not moving in synch with the rest of us there's always these internalized stories. And an internalized story is also what I'm doing.

As a force of habit I begin what I've started to refer to as a "root arch" as an internalized story so I can explore and peck about what my nation is about, and from there develop anything that'd be developmental from a Civilization or Age of Empire sort of stance, but because it suits the ambitions of the characters I discover along the way. I leave a lot to be determines until I get there with these actors, because I don't know how often they'll organically evolve until I do write them (Dr. Paston for instance).

Brink I think looks like he's doing something similar, albeit slower. I don't know if he's already writer block'd himself or if he somehow became disenfranchised with what may have been planned. But my suspicions suggest that maybe he's figuring out who could or who will become a perspective character.

Driving into school and the skies opened up and on several moments of my trip in I was driving through a solid wall of water pretty much. At which point I just kept my eyes on the tail lights in front of me and the headlights behind me and slowed down to maybe thirty until shit cleared.

Waiting for others to post is an easy kill to an RP. I'm not trying to make this RP central to my own. If I have an opening and if it's in what I feel is in a workable space of time between my last post and what will happen next in my own plot arcs I will take it. But to expect to have to wait for anyone is an easy RP suicide.

I will, as I will expect other writers, to post when the open space is given. The only point in which ego plays in is in the event of posting twice in a row without anyone else posting between my own posts. Which isn't a problem with me, I always wait for at least one person to post.

To be honest it's a good thing for any RP if anyone posts at all. And in an RP as young as this where regularity of certain players is not yet established it'll be a bad thing for all of us to wait to take turns and not take posting opportunities as they come.

Activity - even if from a few individuals - should always be welcomed and their energy shouldn't be spited in the name of someone else to post before them. In my own RPs if we waited for one recognized regular to post at all we'd have my own crown jewel dead years ago. And even now if we waited for any one person to post in succession it would almost most certainly be dead, and not the sleepy lumbering thing it is now (since it takes any of the "Major three" at least a week to compose a post for that).

My own experience has only taught me that waiting turns for a slow, disinterested, or uninspired poster to post is a quick death at the hand of sloth or someone's writer's block. Anyone and everyone should be invited to move when they got an opportunity, so long as this is not in a conflict or discussion where trading posts between two or more individuals is required; but I'm not involved in any of this so I'm not obligated to wait.

god damn hideous morning. It's raining already.
And why should I wait for undeclared drop-outs to, since Akita has announced that?
@Derlerks123

Because neither was there ever stated that everyone has to post at least once before IC can continue but because I did it before and Rogue didn't care.

You guys really have a lot of invisible rules.
Where are the Were-Marine life btw?

You don't want to see a Weremarine. I hear they're absolutely horrifying. They didn't earn the Devil Dog name for nothing.
Everyone wants to be rockstars who look like pornstars.

This post reminds me of a joke in this video.
