I have a friend coming to visit me this week. I bought us tickets to a show, pretty expensive, and she texts me "How much do I owe you?" and I said "dw, I gotchu :)" without even telling her the price, just cause I felt like being an awesome friend.
Then she replies "Oh yeah, I guess that's fair considering gas and travel time." I just wanted to be like, "You could have just said thank you, considering I literally never bring that up the 5x I've come to visit you and this is the first time you've visited me since I moved out." It's more annoying cause it implies how much she takes it for granted when I visit her.
Now this is a legitimate complaint and not the, "tfw no gf, therefore a hate being a fellow human" shit going on here.
