@Kingfisher You just happen to pop up in threads I monitor, huh

Interest here. I was in a Dark Heresy roleplay before this, I think I might be alright here.
Full Name: Richard Jones Barkley

Alias: Bones

Sex: Male

Age: 34

Nationality: American

Appearance

Personality: Quiet, articulated and polite, Jones is the definition of your professional killer. Prone to bits and bites of cynicism and snark here and there, overall Jones is a gentleman, restrained in attitude, polite and calculated in mannerisms and well worded as a person.

Background: As a young man, Jones was highly interested in medicine. Studying in the field had made him a nurse working in a hospital, but through rigorous extracurricular studies and lots and lots of hard work, he eventually saved up money to become a doctor. A surgeon, as it were. For a while, the job was his life. But then, some unscrupulous types showed up. When he performed a surgery on what he assumed was a businessman, a bunch of hard types showed up. Demanded he keep total secrecy or else his life was forfeit. No one else, no nurses, just him and a set of medical tools. Organs were pulled and placed into ice boxes, and he was paid a hefty sum, a far larger sum that he would have normally been paid on the job. Of course, this manner of material wealth excited him, and he immediately asked for more work in the shadier parts of the industry.

Of course, taking into account his skill in the art of cutting open bodies and exhuming their innards, Jones eventually turned to more hands on methods of earning his black money, and soon became a hired method killer, disposing of bad people that worse people didn't want in their lives any more. Through careful, surgical operations with scalpel and bonesaw, Jones made himself a living off of black medicine. His methods include sedation by morphine syrette, discrete poisoning with ricin within a champagne glass among other, more subtle means, or alternatively surgically precise cuts to major blood vessels, tendons and soft tissue with a very, very sharp scalpel. Or decapitation with a bonesaw.
The Arena Section is currently home to many of the psychotic and dangerous members of city.

Hey I take slight offense to that seeing as my home is the Arena XD

Anyway I have interest.
Yeah sorry 'bout that. Will finish up sheet now!
Of course you have to post just as I'm about to go to bed. XD
Stealth NEVER works

Probably due to trust issues and the fact that you don't want your opponent to get the upper hand, so they would inherently meta game your attempt at stealth so it fails in their favour.

Yeah I see how this works.
Sleepy. XD
@MelonHead Posted.

My actions are justifiable, as Daniel's speed is akin to a supercar accelerating from nothing to sixty, and his strength does allow him to leap that high, or at least it should.

The stealth bit is anyone's guess though.
Suddenly he heard footfalls, fast ones that tapped their way towards the far end of the platform.

He was running! The cheeky bastard!

Daniel immediately got up from his crouch, using his gift of speed to quickly accelerate to catch up and match the mage's steps. As he left the safety and shade of the platform, he watched as, above him, his opponent leaped the gap between his platform and the center one. Not wanting to give the mage something else to hear, he leaped at roughly the same time the mage did, emulating his jump across the platforms.

By the time Metz was around and facing the other way, Daniel was already underneath the platform, catching his breath from the short sprint while his opponent landed on the center platform unscathed. Hopefully his dash had gone unnoticed, because if it had, voila, element of surprise still in his favour. The ice shell he'd left underneath the original platform was still there, albeit melting very slightly. From this distance, however, it would look like the wolf, standing up albeit less straight, holding onto his side in pain as he recovered with an ice shell protecting him.

Taking in long, slow breaths, Daniel dropped down low again and prowled towards the far edge of the underside of the platform. If his opponent were facing the other way, it was his time to strike. He reached the edge, bunched himself up and leaped straight upward, the strength in his legs letting him go most of the way so he could grab onto the ledge with his fingers. With only one handhold, he struggled. He lifted his other hand to catch onto the ledge and steadily hauled himself upward, freezing his hands onto the platform itself to give him a stronger grip as he pulled by sheer strength of his body alone. Eventually, after a moment or two of struggle, he got a knee up, then the other, finally level with his opponent, whose back was facing him. He maintained his position low to the floor, legs bunched up to jump if the mage so much as turned to blast him away or whatever spell he was going to cast next.

Not wanting to ruin it by getting in close and potentially revealing himself, he drew his pistols and took aim at the mage's center of mass. Then he fired, both at the same time, the recoil shifting him back a step but both bullets screaming straight towards Metz's torso, one on either side of his back.
I was actually going to write a post today. Gonna bring the boys over to the red light district.
