What did I just wake up to
I misunderstood your post so yeah.

Kinda still don't, actually. *is an idiot*
Noon

At that particular moment in time, Allan was in the kitchen. The smell of cooking meat was in the air, and though he was no master chef, he did know how to whip up a killer spaghetti bolognaise. With a measured hand he tipped a small cup of water into the pot containing his sauce and stirred with a wooden spoon, humming softly to himself as he worked.

The remnants of his ingredients lay on the counter next to him; some strands of dill, scraped clean, garlic and onion skins, the wrapper of a portion of frozen meat, an empty spaghetti box and a salt and pepper shaker. Messy as he was, he'd at least bothered to wrap up all the waste with the plastic meat wrapper for easy disposal later. The box could be recycled, which meant a different bin to throw it in. Later, of course.

As he leaned over his pot to give the cooking sauce a sniff, he felt something cold and wet bump against his knee. Allan looked down to see Bess, peering hungrily up at him with those big brown eyes, her tongue lolling out of her muzzle as if to question her master's decision to not feed her the yummy things he had. With a smile he leaned down and ruffled her between the ears.

"Don't worry, silly Bessy. I'll get you something to eat later."

He straightened up and caught sight of his roommate Max entering the living room and immediately stubbing his toe on the coffee table. With a resigned smile, he shook his head and waved back.

"Afternoon, Max! Want me to make you a cuppa?"

At the mention of a dream he paused. He knew that lately at least one or two of his friends here had been suffering from them. He was one of the lucky ones who'd slept soundly every night ever since moving into the house. Now he knew that Max was one of them.

"A dream? Do you remember anything about it though?"
The fight had been intense, but eventually they'd run out of time. His opponent had won. He had lost.

Daniel sat in his room, contemplating his defeat. Metz and he had been evenly matched up until the constraints of time had given the victory to the former. He never did understand what constituted a "victory" in things like this anyway. Spending his time sparring with (and constantly losing to) Skallagrim sure had improved his fighting capabilities, but here he had much to learn. But still, it felt like the skeleton had called all of them here for something bigger than just some lousy tournament. It didn't add up. One of the most powerful beings in the multiverse didn't just organise a fighting competition for no good reason unless he had something to gain from it.

Or something to lose.

Restless and uneasy, he stood.

Something was up, and he knew the person to ask.

As he opened the door to his room to leave, he caught sight of several of the other random beings that had shown up to watch fleeing away from the Great Hall. The wolf quickened his pace and near ran into the hall, catching a glimpse of a pale, glowing female figure vanishing into the crown astride a spectral steed. Scowling, he strode forward, a hand resting on the hilt of his sword-staff as he fixed his gaze on his old friend and spoke.

"Skall! What's going on? Why're all these poor folk running away? Or, rather, what are they running from?"
@Fallenreaper My guy's one of those deadpan idiots lol

If Skall permits it I could make a fluff post or something
you remind me a little of Lord Saladin, which is probably why I like you.

Wasn't Saladin the fella that was better than you way back when

Also why am I still here I'm out already
@MelonHead I don't get your attack. Where is he attacking from and in what way? I also don't get how he can stab her again when she's stepped past the point and into his guard. A big dude rearing back a huge sword would have to have arms like tentacles to pull that all the way back to align the point for another stab.

Unless he's attacking from up high, with the blade pointed downward but his other hand holding the hilt higher so the whole thing's pointing down.

Regardless I already have a post in mind.
We gonna get this thing rolling or?

@Hexaflexagon
Did you do those yourself?
@Kingfisher Finished! Sorry for the long wait, this was my last stop on my writing train. Saving the best for last, as it were.
