Also, question, if all of you are level 10... how come everyone has super rare items? Just curious. I Guess my character is the only one without them. Just saying, you can add more to your character's depth and posts if you actually went and acquired these said rare items during the RP. Just an idea though.

I guess he's got super rare stuff because the term 'rare' can be interpreted many different ways. For example, in Skyrim, Unique weapons are considered 'rare', but you can find some of them from the first few levels.

Matt is a prick. Well, most people call him a prick, anyway, but what you personally think of him varies person to person. Matt is extremely focused on video games, and is the type of player to steal loot it you're not quick enough to get to it first. he pushes real life people away in favor of games, and has gotten very good at them. He wasn't part of the beta of Infinite Story, but has researched every scrap of information released about it, and even slipped a tester some money to break their non-disclosure agreement and give him inside information. He's an extremely intelligent boy, but his brains distance him from people. he tends to talk very concisely with large words that may be formidable to those not armed with a dictionary. He doesn't like making friends, but he will align himself with those who he feels can get him farther in his games. He's not an evil person, but he can come off that way, as he operates primarily for his own goals and no one else's. But, he does understand the importance of the greater good, and will work towards such a thing if the need arises.
Bio:
Matt was born into a tiny town, so small and insignificant it might as well have been a pimple orf the ass of the United States of America. Nothing ever went on in the town, and it was the definition of mundane. Matt, from a young age, was always bored by it. he couldn't stand the mind numbing, incredibly easy lessons, or that nothing every happened in the local news. Around age ten, he started looking for some form of escapisim, something to tear him away from this boring reality. He tried books, they were nice, but they really didn't do it for him. TV came close, but he didn't feel like he was... Interacting with it. That's when he discovered video games. They gave him a way to vent his frustrations and be something greater than he was, even for a breif moment- and that's exactly what he was looking for. He withdrew from what little social life he had, preffering to stay indoors to be with his games. As soon as the VR Gear was released, he bought it and eagerly waited for the release of Infinite Story. He pre-ordered and picked it up day one, going home to immediately plug it in and play. On the first day he binged for 48 hours, and has been playing as often as possible ever since.
Other: His goal is to be the best player in the world, and he hopes to make his living the video games industry.

Main Stats: He distributes his stat points 40% Intelligence, 30% Speed, and 30% Skill. However, every 5th level he'll use the stat points gained that level to bring the other stats he's neglected up.

Common Spells:
Steal Mana- Steals 25 Mana from the target, making a net gain of 5 Mana since its costs 20 to cast.
Immolate- A spell to set things on fire.
Mist- Creates bad condition for enemy sight, allow him and his allies to sneak and dodge more easily.
Immolate Mist- Creates a mist that is literally on fire for the enemy to deal with.
Immolate Arrow- Gives him a magical(not physical) burning arrow to shoot.
(Element) Arrow- Gives him a magical arrow of whatever element.
(Element) Minion- Summons a minion of whatever element. He can also make one of his most powerful Minions using 'Mana Minion', as it is a construct literally made from Mana, but that minion drains 5 mana per turn.
Debuff- He can debuff an opponents stats. Since it's not directed at any one stat with a word it deacreases all stats, but not by very much at all. He can use 'Mana Debuff' however, which will make the opponent lose a significant portion of their Mana.
Weapons:
-The Leviathan Bow: A rare bow drop taken from a level fifteen boss monster found in a far away dungeon. it can be used by a character of every level, and O says he went there and somehow managed to kill the boss and took it. It's a very powerful boy, doing damage comparable to a level fifteen weapon, and it has an enchantment that allows him to fire magical arrows. In addition, it can be enchanted further, and scales off his intelligence stat for damage.
-The Jester Scepter: A rare drop, a magical staff. It boosts his damage significantly, scaling off his intelligence stat. Additionally, it applies a 1.3 times modifier to his Intelligence and Wisdom stats.

Armor:
Head- The Windmaster- No stat bonus, a cosmetic item that make it appera as though his clothing and hair always has wind billowing around it.
Torso- Serpents Robe- A robe from cultists who worship a Snake god. Provides a dramatic increase to his speed stat, as well as small buffs to his endurance, intelligence, and wisdom.
Arm(R)- Sphinx Undersuit- Covering his entire body underneath his Serpents Robe, the Sphinx under suit is an extremely rare drop that levels with him. It covers both of his arms and legs, and provides a large buff to his endurance. Additionally the Sphinx skin the suit is made from conducts magic extremely well, increasing his magical damage.

Glove(R)- The Glove of Jotun- One of two rare glove drops from a pair of twin Frost Giants. The Glove of Jotun increases magical damage significantly. When worn alongside it's brother glove, The Glove of Magnus, it also gives a 1.2x bonus to Speed.

Beware the Bear. Here's my Corrupted character.

The Bear

Appearance:

If one had to choose to describe Ursa’s appearance, they’d have difficulty deciding where to start. Oftentimes those sizing him up have a knife in their throats before they have time to decide wheter to start analyzing the myriad scars on the Japanese-Americans face or whether to look at his midnight black coat, dotted with the last remnants of his foes blood. Ursa stands at a menacing 6 foot 6 inches tall, dwarfing most civilians on the street. He has muscles that are as big around as paint cans, and such a deadpan expression that you could be forgiven for assuming he was some kind of android. His trenchcoat is black and very slightly too long at the bottom, not enough to drag behind him when he walks, but enough to give it almost the effect of a cape. The coat is dotted with the rare faded red stain from one of the many deaths Ursa has caused. His pants are black just like the rest of his outfit, though they are more immaculate, with Ursa’s twin pistols attached to either thigh in holsters. His black combat boots and black gloves complete his uniform, completing the picture. In three words, he could be described from one look as: “Hyper Lethal Vector”.

Location & Notes on Star Mark: The agent’s star mark is very large, it is a five point black star taking up the entire space on his chest. It appears to almost be wrapping around him.

Star Power:
Super Soldier Physiology-Ursa’s star power allows him to effectively be the pinnacle of a hand-to-hand combatant. He is stronger, faster, and more durable than the average human. His maximum lifting strength maxes at being just able to throw a pick-up truck. If he strains himself he has the capacity to use a sedan as effectively a sledge hammer. He routinely runs at 40 miles per hour, though his upper limit is considered to be that of a Cheeta. Ursa has resisted punches or trauma from blunt weapons that would kill normal people. He isn’t bulletproof but it would take more than just one shot to put The Bear down. Additionally, he heals at a slightly accelerated rate. Not enough to be considered rapid cellular regeneration, but enough to that he’s not out of commision for too long after taking a bad hit.

Skills:
-Expert Hand to Hand Combatant: After spending his entire life training, Ursa is a black belt in three martial arts, and currently has a basic understanding of two other disciplines.
-Marksman: Ursa is a crack shot with his two pistols. he has the capacity to fire a myriad of other firearms, but he generally prefers his pistols.
-Tactician: Ursa has an extremely tactical mind, and is quick to think about his enemies strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, his mind has often allowed him to get a rudimentary guess of any oppositions star powers; though he has been wrong before.

Equipment:
-Two Sig Sauer P226 Pistols: The Bears primary weapon, when he’s not getting… Suffice to say, personal with his bare hands.
-Knuckled Gloves: Further augmenting how much damage Ursa can do with a punch, his gloves have built in brass knuckles.
-Four Smoke Grenades: Hidden inside his coat.
-One Combat Knife: Hidden in his combat boots.
-Coat: Ursa’s coat is made of kevlar and woven spidersilk to make for a quite durable material.
-Steel Toed Boots

Corrupted or Uncorrupted: Corrupted. It occurred one year ago, making him one of the longest lasting corrupted, second only to one Astraia Johnson.

Personality:
He walks somewhere on the thin line between deadpan and sardonic. His expression is always one of distaste or lack of emotion, even when sizing up an opponent. The only time a smile will grace his face is perhaps when he is in the heat of combat, gunning down or battering aside foes, whether they be grown men or boys as old or even younger than he is. His only remaining pleasure in life is the completion of the tasks given to him by The Organization and the sweet feeling of murder. He revels in combat like others would love spending time with their significant other.
Ursa may have had a concise, once, but any vestiges of what concise they didn’t take from him during indoctrination was brutally ripped away when his star became corrupted. He has absolutely no qualms with doing even the most despicable tasks, as long as his higher up directed him to. He snapped his training partner’s neck in cold blood. He has no remorse and no moral compass- and he adores it. He oftentimes will be introduced to people, and forget to take their names because he’s too enamored with thinking of how many ways he could kill them.

Biography:
Agent Ursa was never granted the pleasure of what is considered a ‘normal life’. At age one, The Organization realized he had a star, and they came for him. It’s not officially recorded whether or not the agents that came for him killed his parents, but suffice to say that there wouldn’t by anyone left to post ‘MISSING’ posters for the abducted child.
Practically as soon as he could walk The Organization began its intense indoctrination- or, ‘training program’ they liked to call it. They called it Project Ursa, because they had a rare opportunity in front of them. They had discovered two children with the exact same powers. Ursa and the other boy began training early- Aside from martial arts training the boys were taught advanced topics from an early age. Trigonometry, astrophysics, theoretical biology- All taught when the boys were seven. They were being conditioned into some of the finest warriors the world had ever seen, hyper lethal vectors that would make even the most hardened members of any Spec Ops team piss his pants. To fuel their training, they were always being compared. If one was doing better than the other, even slightly, they’d be called Ursa Major, with the other being relegated to Ursa Minor. The Bear didn’t like that, but he tolerated his partner, even becoming friendly with him as they grew better and better at the use of their abilities and their training accelerated. They were set to be deployed at age fourteen, but around that time The organization made a discovery- The Corrupted. The Organization started capturing and torturing those with stars to make them corrupted, then unleashing the Ursas on them to further the ursas training. When both boys were 16, The Organization had only one more idea for them.
They carefully organized the capture and torture of the Bear, leaving his training partner with some other menial task. They carefully covered their tracks so the extremely intelligent Bear could never realize it was them. They depraved Ursa of his humanity and broke his spirit, until his star turned black. It wasn’t long after that that the Bears captors were dead and neatly disposed of and he’d found his way back to Organization HQ. He was given one final task- Kill his training partner. The Organization's true test that the Corrupted were superior to their uncorrupted counterparts. Ursa snapped his partners neck without hesitation, setting a precedent for the most successful Star-killing assassin in the history of the world.
Ursa is one of the only agents that The Organization trusts to eliminate those that they label as ‘threats’- and he more than deserves such a distinction.

Trivia:
-Though his physical strength is enormous, his preferred option for elimination of targets is his pistols.
-His list of confirmed kills in somewhere around one hundred.
-He fears a man whom he knows little of, other than that he has a star mark on the small of his back.

Del Hale

Name: Del Hale (name based off the constellation Triangulum, also called Deltoton)

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Nationality: American

Current location in the world: New York City

Appearance:

Del is of average height for his age, as well as of average weight class. His muscles are fairly developed, but he is by no means as burly as a football player of anything like that. In fact his body is very lithe, this is accentuated by the fact that he always wears clothing that’s very easy to move in. T-shirts, shorts, and oftentimes he’ll put on a beanie and wear his headphones around his neck. He tends to carry around his skateboard where he can. His dyed red hair oftentimes will make him stick out in a crowd, but his hair is naturally brown. He tends to have a tiny smile on his face with his inquisitive eyes looking around. Between his attire and hairstyle he puts out a very generic ‘skater’ look.

Location & Notes on Star Mark: Del has two stars on either ankle. They are five pointed stars, stretched slightly so they appear almost as the wings on Hermes’ sandals.

Star Power:
Omni-Transport- Del’s power is an interesting one as it’s applications are very expensive. The power of Omni-Transport gives Del a host of abilities that allow him to move very quickly in almost any environment. The powers granted from this ability are as follows;
-Intuitive Vehicle Mastery: Del, upon so much as touching any vehicle, understands completely how to drive and operate such a vehicle, and is able to as though he was a master. This includes but is not limited to, cars, trucks, bikes, skateboards, and even more complex vehicles like airplanes.
-Limited Magnetism Polarity: Del has the ability to magnetize his hands and feet, as well as virtually all surfaces, allowing him to stick to them like a spider. This lets him perform feats of parkour impossible for a normal human, as well as perform feats such as climbing up a completely flat wall, and sticking to ceilings.
-Enhanced Speed: Del is considerably faster than an average human, though not by too much. He can consistently run at 35 miles per hour, and he can do a maximum of 40 MPH if he pushes himself extremely hard. Once he made it to fifty MPH, but snapped his achilles tendon in the process.
-Enhanced Musculature: Del’s muscles are a bit stronger and more enduring than normal humans. He can run and climb for extremely long periods of time without tiring, he can jump higher, farther, and faster than normal humans. He can also hit slightly harder than one would expect for someone in his weight class.
-No Need For Oxygen: Del did not develop lungs in the womb as his body has no need for oxygen. But to balance this, the energy required by Del to function means he must consume massive amounts of food, enough to feed four people. Since he requires no oxygen, he can be underwater or in space indefinitely. Additionally, Del still subconsciously goes through the motions of breathing in and breathing out, but he can cease these if he focuses.
-Enhanced Durability: Del is more durable than the average person, in certain conditions. For one reason or another, the deeper underwater Del goes, the more durable his body gets, as though to allow him to travel in such spaces. This durability also allows him survival in space. But this durability is inconsistent, as if you were to punch, shoot, or stab him, he’d suffer the same damage as a normal human being.
-Flight?: One of the powers Del has never managed to get very far with, he can levitate maybe two or three inches off the ground and no more than that. He thinks he could probably manage to fly one day, but he's not sure.

Corrupted or Uncorrupted: Uncorrupted

Personality:
Del is and has always been a quiet boy, content to simply observe the world around him. he very rarely has anything to say, but when he does he is keen to make himself heard. Despite his quietness Del is strong willed, and won’t back down for anyone. Despite this he is somewhat open minded, and likes hearing about other people’s opinions, but simultaneously, he very rarely will give up his own. He likes a good joke and will chuckle quietly when he hears one, but he’ll rarely make one on his own. He’s not a people person, yet he’s not directly opposed to being around people, he’ll make small talk with those who talk to him but won’t actively seek people out to converse with.
Del has a very strong sense of a right and wrong, and to him, something about the mysterious organization researching those with the power of the stars doesn’t seem right. Del sees his ability as a gift and uses it whenever he can, as he loves doing parkour and traversing around the city. In relation to the Corrupted, he wants to help them, but doesn’t know how.

Biography:
Del was born to two British people in the city of New York. More specifically, Queens. His parents were both fairly mundane people, they both worked standard 9 to 5 jobs in the city while Del went to school and stayed at home with his grandmother. Del’s grandmother was a very kind old woman who had a lot to teach Del about the world- and about his star marking. His grandmother was a conspiracy theorist to some degree, not because she actually believed in such things, but because she didn’t have much to do since her husband died. Once she saw Del had the star marking, a little light went on in her head as she made the connections, and she immediately went to researching all she could.
As soon as his grandmother discovered his markings, Del’s after school life became less and less about relaxation, and more and more about finding the limits of just what his ability was and its limits. He trained hard at it from the age of seven, all through until he was fourteen, at which point his grandmother passed away. It was then Del decided to reveal his fantastic abilities to his parents, only for them to shun him. They thought that, somehow, whatever magical thing causing Del’s ability had caused his grandmothers death. Distraught, Del packed a bag of meager supplies, money, grabbed his skateboard, and left home. He’s been living on the street for about two years now. Life has been hard- He’s been mugged, moneys gotten tight, and some nights he had trouble meeting the needs of his extreme diet. But he’s pulled through.

Trivia:
-He likes fire, for some reason.
-His favorite mode of transport is either the skateboard or parkour.
-His favorite food in a triple stacked hamburger with everything on it- Wrapped up in a large cheese pizza.
-He has a fear of airplanes, but not an associated fear of heights.

So, is there any limit to the sort of powers we can have? Like, I know we can have instrument mastery, intuitive aptitude and what have you, but hypothetically, what about things like pyrokinesis? Telekinesis? Super speed?

Well, it IS a town. The idea id that the murders and theives enslave the town and become Slavers. Tbier numbers grow and they have a bunch pf slaves, ready for sale. I was thinking there would be just short of 100 Slavers in the town, none of whom would be hostile unless you attack. If you want, though, I could reclassify it as a lair.
