It's a bit late for this, but this RP will function on the idea of actions and consequences. Character's actions can and will have consequences that crop up later on. So yeah, anything stupid a character does will certainly come back to bite them in the ass somehow. Just a fair warning.
That was the way I had written it, but your previous post (which I admittedly failed to remember when writing mine) suggests that Elim made it as well, which I have no problem with, honestly, so if you want to write Elim making it inside with Jared then be my guest.
Jared is in the castle. You guys are still on the bridge. That's why the Mid Boss is divided into two encounters.
As promised, I moved this thing along. Now you've got yourselves a boss battle to respond to. Hope that's sufficient enough.
Jared got about halfway up the stairs when he heard screams coming from inside. Well, that certainly wasn't a good sign. The shouts belonged to men, though, so it was the figures who were in danger and not necessarily the Queen. That was good news... sort of. He personally preferred if no one died, to be honest, but at least the attackers were the ones getting what they deserved. When the palace doors swung open, Jared stopped. He had to dive to the side to avoid being trampled over by a short mustachioed man and his crossbow-armed pair bodyguards as they barreled outside and down the stairs. Of course, this being a narrow stairway, Jared didn't exactly have anywhere to dive to, so he had to quickly summon his Keyblade and jam it into the side of the ice just give himself something to hold on to.

He'd only just managed to climb back back up when something else burst from the doors. It was kind of like a snowman, only the size of an adult human, but snow and ice quickly gathered around it, piling on top of the thing until it became monstrous in size. Jared blinked and instinctively ducked as the monster made a giant leap halfway down the stairs. As soon as it hit, the ice behind it cracked. Jared's eyes widened expectantly and he scrambled up the remainder of the steps as the stairs crumbled behind him. He reached the safety of the top, but realized he had no way of getting down to help his friends fight this giant.

"You guys get the Princess out of here!" he shouted down to his friends, "Don't worry about the Queen, just leave that to me!" after that he turned and entered through the icy doors. Once inside, he saw broken pieces of glass all over the floor of what was likely an ante chamber of sorts, and he spotted a lady in a blue dress about to run away into another room, but she stopped when she heard the doors and turned to see Jared. Despite her eyes being teary and ready to cry, she had an angry look on her face.

"How many times do I have to tell you people to leave. Me. ALONE!" on the last word she thrust out her hand and a snowy energy burst forth and flew right at Jared, who thrust his Keyblade up defensively, catching the icy magic onto the blade before fling it aside. This seemed to surprise the girl, "What? What are you?"

"Wait, it's okay!" Jared said, dismissing the Keyblade so he could be unarmed, "I don't know what those three guys did, but I swear I'm not with them. I just want to take you home to the kingdom, that's all."

"And just why should I believe you? And even if I did, what if I don't want to go back?" she retorted coldly.

"You don't understand, I came here with - look out!" Jared was interrupted and sprang forward, re-summoning the Keyblade and striking down a small Heartless that appeared behind the girl who could only be Queen Elsa.

"What did you - Ah!" Elsa pointed to where Jared had stood. More Heartless appeared, mostly the same small black ones and small armored ones that had attacked Lunaris, "What are they?"

"Heartless, Your Majesty." responded Jared, putting himself between Elsa and the creatures, "And it looks like they're blocking our only exit. I hope you can use that magic of yours to fight, 'cause I think we're gonna need it."

Hmm, it's looking like Thundercat isn't going to post. I know they're still around in other threads and stuff, and I assume he had a sub for this thread and could easily see it being updated. Ergo, he may have dropped or lost interest. Either way, I'm giving him 'til tomorrow otherwise the train leaves the station whether he's boarded it or not.
There's really no nice way to put this, but I'm going to start dropping people if there aren't more posts soon. I made my post 3 weeks ago. Three. Weeks. And only two responses since then? I'm sorry, but that's just plain absurd. I've been staying nice and patient about this thus far, but that patience is pretty much gone now and ergo I'm putting on the GM hat and putting my foot down on this issue. Either post to prove you're still in this game or be dropped.
Here's a thing from me, too. Bit of W mixed with Kuuga for the most part.

Name: Kazayuki Murakami

Rider Name: Kamen Rider Howl

Age: 27

Appearance: Human Appearance, his suit is mostly a dark indigo, accented by a few bright blue armored bits. The suit isn't all blue, though, as some of the inner accents of the armor, as well as the belt, are a shiny white. Perhaps most interesting is the helmet, which is a far cry from the traditional insect look most riders sport. Rather, it is instead inspired by a canine species, having a slight snout on the mouth piece and even pointed wolf ears on the sides of the head and slanting back slightly. The suit's gloves are covered in small armored parts, including sharpened bits on the fingertips to give them a claw-like edge to their strikes. A similar motif can be spotted on the legs, each one possessing a blade-like attachments protruding from the shins to put a little extra edge into his kicks.

Abilities: Kazayuki is, according to himself, a master of investigation. He's got a good eye for detail, and for spotting small inconsistencies in statements, making it fairly difficult, though not impossible, to deceive him. Through his background, Kazayuki is a good scrapper and fairly decent shot with most sidearms, though not unbeatable by any means. He's also tenacious, even to a flaw, seemingly incapable of giving up on any task or mission he has set for himself. This can borderline on obsession at times, though, the more invested he is the worse it becomes most of the time.

Rider Powers: Kazayuki's mysterious belt is still largely a mystery to him. He still doesn't fully understand its power or potential. Still, the belt essentially means superpowers and those, in turn, allow for the kicking of bad guy ass which is really all Kazayuki cares about in the end. His Rider form gives him the standard buffs in strength and stamina, but also causes him to adopt the habit of moving and even standing with a more feral posture, almost so much that he can seem reminiscent of a werewolf. Speaking of which, when he transforms the belt has a habit of letting loose the sound of a wolf howling. Lastly, the suit apparently enhances his senses, his hearing and sense of smell are particularly more acute when transformed, even allowing him to track scents and continue fighting even when blind or in darkness, so long as his ears and nose aren't being blocked somehow. The belt seems to have some kind of adaptation power to it, namely it can convert mundane weapons or objects into powerful weapons from its arsenal. Most peculiar is that the belt appears to house a spirit or ghost of some kind, a woman who calls herself Ami. Unfortunately, only Kazayuki is able to see or hear her, so he has often been mistakenly accused of talking to himself or having an imaginary of friend of some kind.

  • Lunar Saber: A sword with a crescent-shaped curve in the blade. Any sword-shaped object can be temporarily transformed into the saber. Usually this means an old katana sword that Kazayuki has started keeping around for just such an occasion.

  • Lunar Magnum: A fairly self-explanatory blaster weapon, transformed from just about any sidearm gun. Kazayuki still has his old police issued weapon that he uses to bring out the Magnum when needed.

Rider Machine: He doesn't have one, Kazayuki's Rider form has proven more than capable of traversing long distances with the speed and stride of a predator on the hunt.

Personality: Kazayuki is smarter than he may seem, having been described by others as having a keen eye for detail and a good nose for sniffing out lies. On the other hand, he can be rather abrasive and, at times, short tempered. This, needless to say, has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion. Still, he does what he does in pursuit of justice and to knock the bad guys down a few pegs, so in the end he's not a particularly bad guy himself, just stubborn more than anything else. The ghost, Ami, is like the definition of the word "enigma". She's cryptic, mysterious, knows more than what she lets on, and seems to enjoy teasing Kazayuki with that fact, especially humorous since, as a ghost-like entity, Kazayuki cannot touch her or do anything to her in retaliation to her sometimes mean-spirited snark.

Backstory: Growing up, Kazayuki admired a number of comic book heroes, not for their powers or gadgets, but for their courage to do what was right even if it pained them to do it. Of course, the boy himself had no delusions of growing up to be a superhero himself, he still took their lessons about courage and standing up for what you believe in to heart. So as he grew up, Kazayuki found the next best thing to being a superhero: police work. When he joined the force, he did so with a mission of sorts, to put his beliefs to the test and put a stop to evil in any of its forms. When he was promoted to Homicide Division, Kazayuki was partnered with veteran detective Ittetsu Badou. Unlike Kazayuki, Badou was a 20-year detective, and not particularly fond of Kazayuki's naive beliefs. Still, the two made a surprisingly effective team, Badou's experience with Kazayuki's determination made for an almost infamous combination. Nothing lasts forever, as Badou was always quick to remind Kazayuki, and indeed he was proven right one day. It was a normal case, or at least it should have been. A murder in a shopping center, Badou and Kazayuki hot on the scent of the culprit. That's about where "normal" ends, though. The culprit, when they finally caught up to them, was a... well, in a word, a monster. Leathery skin, boney exoskeleton, fangs, claws, the works. It attacked and the two detectives opened fire for all the good it ended up doing in the end. Kazayuki managed to barely survive, but Badou was not so fortunate. Worse still, Kazayuki had to endure the heart-wrenching job of informing Badou's wife and son of the incident. Needless to say, it didn't end well. The wife, Inari, was heartbroken; and the teenage son, Taisuke, was angry and blamed Kazayuki for the death. Maybe it was Kazayuki's fault? Maybe he wasn't strong enough to follow his beliefs after all? After that incident, Kazayuki changed. No longer the fiery determined rookie he once was, he was now on a different mission, following a new creed. No longer did he believe in courage or fighting for beliefs. Instead, he only believed in one thing; that the world is full of evil, and that evil needs to be destroyed by any and all means. He became more stubborn, less inclined to work with anyone, refusing to let unsolved cases go. Interrogations? He wasn't even allowed to conduct those anymore, not after he damn near killed a suspect trying to beat the truth out of them. In fact it was shortly after that incident that he was let go, fired from the force and asked to turn in his badge.

Kazayuki didn't stop there. He started performing his own unsanctioned investigations, now presenting himself as a private eye of sorts. His slogan was that he would take any case, even those the police had given up on. It was during some of these private cases that he investigated a disappearance of an archeology student. They were on some excavation site, digging up an artifact when there were sounds of growls and the student vanished. It was here that Kazayuki first encountered it. The artifact that was being excavated was a white, metallic belt of some kind. When he got close, Kazayuki heard a woman's voice, "You've suffered a great deal..." she had said. The voice beckoned for Kazayuki to take the belt, promising that if he did so, he would be given the power he lacked all this time to fight evil for real. With nothing to really lose, Kazayuki took the belt and put it on around his waist. The belt flashed with light, and Kazayuki heard a chilling howl of a wolf, but found himself adorned in dark indigo armor, and feeling stronger and faster than he ever could otherwise. The rest, as they say, was history.
I'll be sticking with my Unicorn Knight, if nobody's bothered by it.
